Snow. Lots and lots of snow. Did the winters usually look like this back in Lenster?
...actually, the question he wanted to ask himself was, were they this noisy?
Sir Cuan and Lady Ethlin had told Finn to come here to play so that the infant Leaf could get some fresh air. But now the toddler, who he had intended to play with that day, was wailing like a banshee, and the knight couldn't even understand why!
It was a shame beyond comprehension for a knight of Lenster.
"P-please, Prince Leaf, don't cry, please..."
Finn did his best to comfort the child, but the crying didn't stop.
"Prince Leaf, are you hungry? Are you hurt?!"
There comes many hardships for a knight, but for babysitting to be one of the most difficult ones, he wouldn't have known. He did not have children of his own, how could his liege think he'd make a good godfather to the prince?
Circling around the child bawling near the ice, he tried making faces, until...
"...Whoop!"
He slipped on the ice. With an unpleasant thud, his head hit the ground. Huddling up into fetal position, he grasped the back of his head, grunting because of the pain that rushed through.
"...someone...help..." the knight whimpered weakly, feeling like he was on the verge of tears.
...at the very least, the child was laughing now.

"This doesn't look good..." The nomad wandered over to the fallen knight, her mount behind her. She stared downward. "Grab onto his saddle and pull yourself up... he won't bite." She grinned.
{And since I'm too lazy to get on my other account...}
In the distance, Victoria gave curious glances at the newcomers. "Are they... members of FEF, or wanderers like me?" she said to herself.

"That felt wonderful." Isadora commented as she got up from the bench and threw the empty cup into the nearby trash bin. She would get another one after her duty was over.
Isadora walked toward the ice lake where the skaters were at. At the far end of the lake, she could see that the snowball fight was still continuing. Chuckled at the sight of it, Isadora skated into the ice lake but far away from the snowball fight. It was enough that the weather was making her cold.
Seeing that everything was going well, she let out a small smile. "What a wonderful season it is. What could go hardly wrong?"

Nometal decided he would go, once again, back out onto the icy lake. Donning the skates yet again, he ventured out onto the ice, that way he could move around more easily.

Finn looked upwards, facing a brownish creature. His head still hurting, he finally saw it was a horse. After hearing a girl's voice, he pulled his head backwards to see shape of a green-haired woman. After hearing her offer, he smiled weakly. "I thank you for your help, milady."
Grabbing the horse's saddle, he pulled himself up. Prince Leaf was giggling while playing in the snow. Good, one less problem for now.
"May I ask you of your name, milady, for a stranger is merely a friend you haven't met...yet..."
His words faded as he saw the shape of an oversized bird coming walking towards them. No...not a bird...
"F-feathery Demon! Stand back, Milady!" The knight exclaimed, as he hit the creature over the head with his sword still in his scabbard.
Only to realize it was just a human.
"Oh...uhm...my deepest apologies...I do not know what came over me..." Finn apologetically started, but he could feel his face heat up and he blushed out of embarassment.

"Hm, the knight is just as new to the laguz as I am." Victoria thought, intrigued. She was on a constant watch for those with evil hearts, but found none so far. Her lightning tome and staff might not be needed here...

"I am... Sue of the Kutolah tribe." The nomad first introduced herself to the unfortunate knight, and then the turned around to notice Soren. "Ah, you're finally here again. It's been a while, hasn't it, Soren? How have you been? I was... out there earlier, but I got tired fast. Besides... I've still been trying to find Father, and I've had... no luck..."

Isamu made more snowballs and started throwing them at random people. It seemed fun to him. Then again he was looking for someone to notice him so he could get some answers to his questions.

Isadora let out a smile. "Of course, Rath wouldn't forget about you. You are his daughter. There is nothing that will make Rath forget about you. But if something were to happen in his trip, I'm sure he will not let it get in his way."
Isadora then grabbed Sue's hand and gently pulled her. "Now, let's get some cocoa. It's delicious."

Ninian had taken to walking around the lake. Overhearing Isadora's comment to Sue, she glanced over at Nils, as if to make sure that he was still there. She couldn't help but remember the events from Halloween, especially her grandmother and their brief meeting.
How is Grandmother doing, I wonder?
