 Why oh why must this battle give her the most stressful rollercoster ride emotionally? Once again they would have to try another Ice Beam but again, is there luck already at it's end?
Growling in frustration at the smile Chaos aimed at her, Adira set out another freezing attack and hope that this time it will stick for alot longer than before.
Kayla collapsed to her knees and basically begged whatever pokemon and human spirits to give them this battle. Kayla opened one eye slowly to see the results...

Renekai slumped over the rails, making herself exhale suddenly. This was, without a doubt, the longest battle she had ever fought in. And it looked like the end was just around the corner...

Adira nodded in satisfiation as her attack worked again. This battle was starting to become boring. There was no real challenge but with what little energy she had, she didn't want a challenge at this time. Maybe another time. Again, she let out another Focus Blast and hoping this time it's powerful enough to end this now.

Renekai shifted her weight from one leg to the other. It looked like there was nothing to do but wait... And hope.
Chaos felt tired and cold and stiff. Too many times frozen was not good. Wait! Could he be losing? No! It was unacceptable! But unavoidable...

Adira did not relax but stared at the absol intently. This was a strong and difficult battle. The most difficult yet. As such, she grudgingly respected the trainer for a tough battle. If it wasn't for the fact that she was at the end of her ropes, she might have a more exciting battle with the absol but now was not the time to wonder.
Adira released, and hopefully the last time, another Focus Blast.

Renekai returned Chaos to his pokeball. "That was a really close, really long battle," she said to Kayla. "And it's finally over... Congratulations."
With that, the young trainer hurried out of the stadium, headed for the pokecenter. She had to get there quickly and hope that no goons or something showed up; she had no pokemon left to defend herself with.
