Hattie finished her tea and Halise took the glass away. "I know I'm not on the registry for the Gilgamesh, but I am in their records as a Pirate. I've raided more Kore ships and stores... Plus, when we were captured by them, I know they've clocked my ship and my crew. Thus why Kirill and Camine are in hiding." She shook her head. "I should probably skip out... Leave so that I'll lead Eric away and he won't be hurt..." She paused. "But running won't help me fine Cale and Riley." Her sigh was heavy with stress but she smiled regardless.

"We are in a mess, that is for sure, Pendari."

((I was going to put in the whole bit with a Tesseract, but I couldn't remember how to spell it.))

Xeen paused, drumming his chin.
"I am going to find Ora, now. We will need her. Get a hold of the Hunter's former Captain, and Sean. Rally as many pirates, racers, anything. Orders stand that Thesys will have a standing militia in two day's time. I will attempt to get into contact with the Earth, and get support. Johachim will rally the remaining Hunters, and we will fight."

Sean stopped as the message played in the cradle, swearing inwardly. Running into the ship, he made his way to the ship's bridge. Moments later, he stepped onto it, catching his first mate.
"Why the hell are you running pre-flight? We're not leaving."
"You might not be, but we are!"
"The hell you are. If you want to leave, find a different ******** ship, Mine isn't leaving."
With that, several of the crew began to leave, offering Sean several inventive hand gestures.

Durendal, in the meantime, rested his hand on Tu's shoulder.
"We need to go and talk to Soltari. Grab Hattie and Pen."

"I suppose it's a matter of whose needs are most imperative. Would Eric be able to handle his own better, or would Cale and Riley?" Pen's shoulders raised in a relaxed shrug. "I've been thinking about giving myself up to the Kore, if only to see what all I could destroy or sabotage before they finally took me out. It would be an interesting way to go down."

Erica tilted her head, "Will we now? I suppose if we gather all of our supports, it would give us at least a chance to make it through a week. But do you really think Earth would align with Thesys? We've never been particularly friendly. How many hunters are even left? And can we be sure they won't turn on us?" She let out a sigh, not pushing for either side but, as always, giving both sides some thought. "You're right, though, love. No matter what we do, we will need our daughter, whether to hand her over or have her fight at our side. Go get her quickly."

At this statement, a hand clamped Pen's shoulder.
"And I would never hear the end of it from Jarred. Don't upset the big guy, Pen. He signs my checks." Eric sat down on the stool next to them, a small grin on his face, "So, we're in a whole messa trouble here, now, eh?"

Tu nodded, her brown-sugar curls bouncing with the movement. "Think we can trust Soltari?" She asked, for quick clarification.

(In case you missed, I have a reply from Erica a few posts up, right before you made this one)

Pen slowly re-holstered her gun, having pulled when she was startled by the hand clamping on her shoulder. "The big guy? You make him sound like a god. Did you leave him tied up and gagged on earth? The two of you are usually bound at the hip. I'm surprised, Eric."

Pen gave a soft nod. "A whole mess of trouble."

((Yay. And here I was just showing off. xd Ever-happy to please...))

Lori leaned back and folded her arms at this display. "Not all that loyal, huh. Hey, you!" she yelled at one of the guys leaving. "What's the fire?"

Hattie nodded. "That wouldn't be safe, Pen, but I could understand. I've been thinking of giving myself up to the Slavers to try and find Cale and Riley. That's where I think they are." She said to Pen, instantly regretting it as she saw Eric. Part of her wanted to jump from her seat and kiss him into oblivion, the other wanted to sink away.

"Eric." She said simply yet softly, trying to seem unamused and indifferent.

Xeen paused, shrugging.
"At the moment, we are not in control of this situation. We have to do much hoping. I will not hand my daughter of to this filth. I will resolve this situation, even if it means me dismantling the Kore with mine own two hands. If I have to kill through six planets of them, then I will leave a trail of broken and dead in my wake. This ends NOW." Xeen's voice never rose past it's usual tone of indifference, but his eyes said all that needed to be said, "I am going to find our daughter. Then we three will deal with the Kore. If she and I must kill every man woman and child that stands between us and that stone, then that is what will happen."

Eric chuckled, shaking his head.
"Nah. Jarred's still on Earth, talking with the Emperor. He's better with politics and all that noise. I just build ships." Eric shot Hattie a sideways glance, "What? Decided you thought Pen was better looking than me, so I'm not exciting anymore?"

Sean waved them off.
"That isn't important, Lori. Forget them. I can always get new crew members." He tapped at the touch screen, reading over lines of text, "Apparently Soltari and I are on the Kore's s**t list. As well as Johachim, and the Captain. A line from the Matron's place says that Soltari's drafting every pirate, spacer, trained assassin, thief, anything, to fight against the Kore. So, it looks like I have three days to train you, and get a crew worth their salt," Sean paused, drumming on the table, "Half again your wages to be my first mate."

Captain offered Tu his hand.
"Shall we get to going?"

"If that is how you feel love, I suppose the decision is made." Erica sat up straight in her chair, glancing at Xeen. "Then go get her. I will be here preparing the major forces. Time is limited, so be swift about it."

"Of course he is," Pen crossed her arms, leaning back in her chair. Her look of annoyance quickly flitted to something of slight amusement. "I am better looking than you, Eric. You're just lucky your girl loves you, or I would have swept her off her feet long ago." She glanced back at Hattie, "I hadn't intended it to be safe, and safe rarely shells out any progress."

Tu took the offered hand and nodded, "I say it's best we do, before someone comes along and tries to sell us."

Ghost wonders around moving through a few crowded places slipping through various people to avoid being bumped into at the same time taking anything he can snatch quickly away from them.
I gotta find something exciting to do maybe I'll go learn to fly and get a small ship to run around in... or I could try and sneak into that Matron ladies place now that could be a challenge yeah just might do that
He changes direction going now towards where the Matron 'hides out'.

((I do, tool! Anywho, like I told Steube, I'm about to be in the car for 4 hours heading back to Peru. Don't go too far without me!!!))

Hattie chuckled at Eric's remark. "I've got to have somethin' hot and sexy in my bed instead of a short grease ball." She teased. She stood up and made her way over to him. She pressed a hard kiss to his lips and then leaned close to his ear. "I'm not sorry, but I'm glad you're here." She moved away from him again to look at Pen and Eric both. "I could use both of you if you're willin' to help..."
