He smiled, wrapping his wings around the smaller laguz as the music slowed some, warming her up further in the process. "Things are going quite well in Phoenicis and Kilvas... Serenes, as well. Adjusting to rule over three nations has been a bit rough, but it's been left in Ulki and Nealuchi's capable hands for now. Reyson is advising as well, I am sure... So how long have you been away from Gallia? Are you traveling, or have you found somewhere new to settle?" He raised a brow, his feathers lightly tickling along her back.

The girl inched around the edge of the castle. Having found more bandages in her room, she had almost managed to stop her arm from bleeding. She was surprised when she peeked around the corner and caught sight of the party going on. "They seem happy." she whispered. "She must not be treating them like us... Thank goodness!"
She hid again, thinking perhaps someone had turned her direction. It wouldn't be good for anyone to see me, she thought. They might yell or something...
Pain attacked her all of a sudden. She fell to the ground wimpering.
"Ah... This can't go on..." She said once the pain had calmed.

Amelia laughed, but smiled. "Just try. I'm sure you could pull other people in to join you, as well. Sadly, for now, I've got to watch over everything, make sure things are starting out peacefully." Amelia adjusted her sitting position to see the entire courtyard more easily.

The bishop looked at Vah for a moment, then nodded. "It is all right. . . I don't mind. That tends to happen a lot, I've noticed." He glanced off to the side. "I do tend to be the one who is always left out at these events." His attention turned to Stefan as he spoke, then nodded after a moment's thought. "I believe so. I'm sorry, I am being distracted by this. . ." He waved his hand in the air to indicate their surroundings. "All this." He paused, then gave the swordmaster a slight smile. "Perhaps I will do you a favor and not eliminate you, after all."

"Yes, of course, Tacitus." Sue obeyed him, wandering over to a place in solitude away from the party goers. Thank Father Sky that none of the rest of them were confusing her like that sage was.
She still continued to observe Rhys carefully.

Rei was confounded. Isn't that, like, illegal to spend company money?
"Rhys, that's just...." He stammered, unable to articulate just HOW irked he was, and walked away groaning. He walked over to a chair next to the punch bowl, and tried to relax.

Rhys took a deep breath, in and out. The Warp Powder was wearing off... or maybe it would come back and bite him with some illness tomorrow morning, which seemed the more likely event at this point. Right now, he was too high on life to care.
He jumped up.
"'Why don't you go dance'? You sound as though you don't want to! That's unacceptable for a Host Clubber! If you don't see anyone you like here... will you dance with me, then?" he asked her, holding out a hand. "At least once to get you started!"

She stood dumbfounded for a second, then quickly turned around and skipped along until she'd caught up with him. "So that was your wyvern! That's so cool! I knew a guy once, he was a wyvern rider. He was stupid, though, and they killed him. Weird story. So why did you join? Where'd you get that wyvern? Why do you wear that mask?" Her rambling became indeciperable as she spoke rapidly in excitement.

Ed lifted her head and whined. She thought she had caught a familiar scent. It seemed like Nino's...yet it was also reeking of the aftermath of violence and rot...
The wolf stood, banging her head on the bottom of the table and causing the items upon it to tremble. She yelped and sat back down to drink her punch.
