Cado walked out of the stairs and got in the back, taking the middle seat. His weapons were, he surmised, least useful if they needed to attack from within the car.

Shae groaned. Always with the close quarters with people. He slid gingerly into the pssenger's seat.

((IMPATIENCE))
Once Amelie climbed in and buckled up, Alyx pushed down the accelerator, and the car hummed and pulsed to life. They cruised down the street, faster than whoever's car it was could notice that it was gone, then turned a corner. As soon as they were around a few more corners, Alyx turned around. "Okay. First, who has the paper, and second, who's taking the license plate off?"

"I'll get the license plate," Shae said, eager to leave the car. He opened his door and got out, pulling a multitool from his belt. He proceeded to unscrew the plate as they spoke.

"Which paper are we talking about?" Cado asked. Clearly, he was not the one who had it.

"The address," Alyx explained, a little impatiently. She seemed to remember the details rather clearly. "1520... Blazer Drive?" she suggested, unsure if this was correct.
((Ha, I'm funny. biggrin ))

"Ah, that one," Cado replied, remembering. "I think... uh..." He looked around. "s**t, who does have it?"

((Haha))
Gabriel raised his hand, the paper grasped within it, "I have it." he said.

((I would've had Gabe do something like that but then I saw you were on, so I didn't. razz ))
"Oh, good," Cado said, sighing and leaning back.

((I'm so funny I'm killing people. That's funny.))
Alyx reached out just enough to fold it into her view. "Yeah, I was right," she murmured, turning back to the console. A few taps and a GPS navigation system had them on a simple course. She rolled down her window and leaned out. "Marcus, do you have the plate?" she inquired. "Get rid of it, into a bush or something, and then let's go." He proceeded to do so, climbed back in (reluctantly) and the doors slid closed. Alyx pushed down the accelerator again, pushing the vehicle into a quick acceleration. At the next stoplight (which, incidentally, hovered about thirty feet off the ground in the center of the intersection and was shaped somewhat like a chest-sized marble with lights in it), a police car pulled up right next to them, turning right while they went straight. Alyx glanced across, smiled pleasantly at the officer, and pulled away at the green. He didn't notice their missing plate.
A few minutes later, they pulled up to the address. Monopoly house, but this one was painted far more vibrantly and appeared to have several additions built onto it. They lapsed into the neighboring house's yards, which apparently didn't belong to the neighboring houses anymore. Alyx glanced at the group. "Well... how do we do this?" She sounded uncertain again.

Gabriel thought for a moment, "Let's figure out the layout of the house first, shouldn't be too difficult, Alyx, take the back of the house, take Cado with you. Shae will check out the front and try to get inside, I'll check to see if the guy's home."

Alyx hesitated. "Well... before we go about trespassing, shouldn't we, you know, knock? Wasn't that the plan?" She sounded uncertain, even about breaking the law, despite the relaxation she had shown lifting the car from the street in front of someone's house.

Shae was already in disguise. He was now a fair-haired pretty boy with no scars on his face. "I got this one," he said, his voice an octave higher. He went to the door and knocked politely, waiting for an answer.
