"Well I don't have any Idea what you are talking about, but why don't we try summoning him here?" She asked. "I can stand ready to kill him if he tries anything, and you can perform the summoning thing... Or we could just keep it with us for later and see if it comes in handy, and what is a dog-eared book?"

"Dog-eared is a figure of speach, I guess...you know, when you have a book that's missing corners, parts of the covers and pages are torn at the edges, the whole thing looks worn, stuff like that." Oni said, rolling a rusted old office chair towards him and sitting it in.
As he leaned back, he creaked ominously, also shedding a small cluster of rust that fell to the floor.
"As for summoning it, I don't want do, and I don't know how to." he said simply. "If he wants to chat again, he'll call again."

Tomha again tried to speak to them through the book. "Is this book still working?" He asked curiously. Inside the book over fifty pages were ripped out. One page was how to Banish him, and the rest were his history chapters. The missing pages led to chapter four: Tomha's live as Demon Lord. His birth and life before his rise in power was torn away. "Hey Who is this Oni? Where does his allegiance lie? Respond." He said coldly. He took the attack on the book as a indirect attack to him.

Oni grinned at Rikku's question, about to make a joke before the book talked again.
"That." he said, nodding to it.
"Well, if you asked...I am Oni, a demon. I am timeless. I watched the Egyptians build their pyramids, I watched as Rome was built, I was there in World War One AND Two, I watched the apocalypse happen." he said seriously, but at the same time grinning. Once he was done, he covered a laugh.
"And you?"

Rikku set the book down and kneeled by it, not saying a word, just listening to the exchange of words that was going on.

"Wow..." Oni said, looking at the book. He spoke in a tone of awe, but hidden on his side, he made a face of annoyance.
"So...it appears I'm not the only traitor eh?" he said, spinning the book between his fingers. "You mentioned a God early...Dimitri...I meant him. Nice enough after he learned I that I wasn't going to injure his wife. You worked with him, apparently, according to what you said through the book." he added, leaning back against the wall.
"Or is it the other way around...is he the traitor to his kind? Who knows?" Oni said. "If he is...I wonder how Aphrodite would take it."
He put the book on small brick nearby, leaning it against the wall.
"Anything to say? Any witty defenses? Though I wouldn't recommend the second option. If I wasn't a demon, I would be the god of wittyness. So don't start anything." he added, grinning.

"I am no traitor!" He said feeling insulted. "I walk my own road, Besides I only lost the title of Demon Lord because someone betrayed me and stole almost all of my power. Anyway yes I did mention Dimitri, he and I met, I gave him this book to make him useful for my experiments, I guess my dad, the one who has my power killed him. No matter I'm sure you could aid in my work. I'll need you to bring me demons, alive."
He explained as he paused for a moment. "I have many precious gems to pay, diamonds, emeralds, and other forms of payment for whoever works for me, maybe a room in my mansion."

Oni laughed again. "You are a traitor. I was told by a rather irritating demon not too long ago that it was our duty to kill gods on sight...and Dimitri as you call him is one, no?" he said, examining some dried skin under a fingernail that was left when he had grabbed a demon by the head and thrown him against a wall earlier in the day.
"Then maybe it is he who is the traitor, who knows." he said, chewing on his nail to try and dislodge the piece of flesh. He pulled it out, tossing it out the window.
"And I don't care about money, or a room in some mansion, I'm not as materialistic as some demons." Oni added. "I would rather just find a nice girl and life in relative peace." he said.

"Only one person had the right to command me as she damn well pleases, and she passed away sadly." He said sincerely. Whoever he was talking about he must have had great respect for.
"The Hells consider me dead since my dad gloated how he killed me and dumped my body on this world. So now they see me as a god for surviving such one sided fight. I obviously am no god but the fact I survived wounds almost everyone else would die from makes me seem godly and what better glory is there then killing the so called unkillable? In fact your the first Demon to discover I'm still alive. My old man would lose his mind if he knew." Tomha said laughing as well. "As for Duty, the only Duty I have is to reclaim my former power. I care not for titles, even if I did become Demon Lord thanks to my former master, I can live without political status." He explained and paused for a moment.
"If it's peace you want then you should work for me. I have an experiment. If it works, Everyone will be rid of a Mutant Demon who gets his kicks in killing the helpless, particularly children."

"Who would kill children!?" She blurted out, making her presents known. " That is just sick... purposely targeting them." She turned away. "... So what is your experiment?" She asked curiously, and she wanted to help get rid of this demon.

"Well I'm rather skilled in Biological work and chemicals. Xathom, my father is sacrificing as many humans and demons as needed to wear you out then he tries to attack by surprise. Children are naturally defenseless so he favors them as victims." He said seriously.
"What I plan to do is something I wont tell anyone unless I know they are working for me. What I would need is for you two to capture Demons alive, gather as many as possible and bring them to me. Only then will I let you see my work and a reward." He said grinning on his side. The idea of actually gaining minions to do his muscle work was only fair in his opinion since he was doing the brain work.
"And don't bother trying to say, oh your evil you want your father dead. A lot of people want him dead. He steals your power like a Vampire steals your blood. He just bites you real deep with those teeth." He complained.

Oni shook his head. "I would say 'you monster', but that's an understatement. Hell, there is no words I can use, in this, or any language, to describe how evil you are."
He picked up the book, listening to the man as he paced.
"Wait, wait, wait, wait..." he said, staying quiet for a moment. "Wait." he said quickly, before continuing. "Who said we are working for you?" Oni asked, laughing. "You're an a**. I wouldn't purposefully get within rifle range of you." he said, pulling back the bolt on his FN FAL loudly so the demon could hear him.
"So here's the deal. I'm going to put a hole in your book, and you're going to ******** off. And if I catch you, you're dead." Oni said, resting the stock of his rifle under his arm, pointing it straight up, with the book balancing on top.

"Please wait Oni." SHe said slowly in a serious tone. "You're a demon so you don't understand, but from a god's stand point.... watching our people suffer is like hell..." SHe said calmly. "I am not saying lets work for him, because I won't work for him unless I know what his motives are... but I am just saying, lets consider it, as he tells us what his 'work' is... because if you want my help at all you will have to tell me."
