Kara shook her head immediately. "I was just there, and if this Strange had been there, he would have stepped in. Believe me." She wasn't sure how she felt about this guy tagging along. On the one hand, he was right; she knew next to nothing about his world. On the other, he would slow her pace down considerably, and... What if he finds out about the suit? If Spider-man's reaction to it had been any indication, he would not be pleased, but there was nothing she could do at the moment to get rid of it, and... And I'm not sure I can afford to, she thought miserably, This thing makes me better; stronger, faster, more powerful, and I'm still not good enough to take out the Reaper. If I took the suit off...

War Machine sighed. "Guess that's out then." He saw signs of distress in her face. "Something wrong?"

Kara started and blinked, then managed a strained smile. "Not really. This guy, The Reaper, killed a lot of people, you know? Just tore them apart. Innocent people. It's hard to get out of your head. Anyway," she continued briskly, "Is there anywhere else that Strange likes to hang out?"

He nodded silently in understanding, not wanting to press her. He quickly scanned his computer. "Let's see...there are rumors that he has a place in San Francisco. Among some warehouses, if the rumors are to be believed. Sounds like a good place to start."

"I just hope we can get there," she muttered, "Only a few chunks of both worlds are accessible, and they're just sort of... stuck together. Like New York City. When you go across the bridge to Queens, you end up in this place that looks like medieval Europe."

"Medieval Europe? Sounds like Latveria to me. I hear it disappeared out of our world a bit ago." War Machine shrugged. "Well, no way to know unless we try. We'll fly there, and we'll see what we see. Ready?"

Kara nodded. She didn't know exactly where they were, at the moment, so she decided to let him take the lead.

"All right, let's get going." He handed her a small ear mic, then flew up. The ceiling opened and he fly up a bit more, then took his bearings and blasted off. At top speed, he was a bit over Mach 1, halfway to Mach 2. He didn't like to go this fast, but apparently they were in a hurry. Hopefully she could keep up.

Black Cat smirked, stepping out of the shadows and pressing stop on her recording device. Well, well, well. Now she had the command codes that disabled the security system for Stark Tower, and could run around like a kid in a candy store. She'd leave the big stuff, like that alternate dimension portal... thing... alone. She certainly didn't want to add to the mess the whole world was in. She just wanted to be well prepared. And... if she could sell some of the stuff on the black market after all this was over, so much the better. "Oooh, humanoid life-signs detector," she murmured, pocketing the device, "And... Web shooters? Tony, you bad boy, were you going to patent this?"

When she had everything that she could carry... that she thought she could hack... Black Cat turned and began walking out. As she came to the hallway where all of those crazy defenses were, she heard a slight humming, like something was powering up. She pulled out the recording device, and then hesitated. What was it about these defense systems that the girl had been afraid of? Black Cat had seen her take everything in War Machine's arsenal without even flinching, but she'd stopped cold at the mention... Of what?
She thought a bit more, rewound the device a bit, and then pressed play. " -we've got everything, from electromagnetics to that green stuff they found last year to nuclear, infrared, and radio waves-" She pressed stop, rewound, and repeated the phrase again. Hmm... Would electromagnetics bother someone if missles didn't? It was difficult to say, but somehow she didn't think so. Same with infrared and radio waves. That left nuclear and 'that green stuff they found last year.' Between those two, the green stuff seemed less likely, but she certainly wasn't going to steal anything nuclear; whatever people (read 'Spider-man') said to the contrary, she wasn't nuts.
Silent due to force of habit, she turned around and walked back into the lab, intent on stealing herself some possibly useful chunk of green stuff.

//Huh, forgot I was playing magneto...// Magneto moved towards a larger opening, still levetating the equipment he needed. He raised his hand to re-open the ceiling, but paused when he heard some noise coming from down the hall. After a moment of listening, the noise stopped. Whoever was in the building had left apparently.
ENTER from Spot Dimension
A spot opened inside a large room and rosie tumbled out of it. She stood up and dusted herself off, then looked around. Her face wrinkled up and she stomped her foot in a bit of a tantrum. Now she was in a strange place again. Note to self; crazy spots don't take you back the way you came. She was starting to get tired of this whole little thing. She glanced around a moment. The lab looked fairly locked up....how was she going to get out? She stomped her foot again and began roaming the small room, looking for a way out or something to steal or something to break or - or - or just something to make someone else mad! Stupid hole things...stupid halloween decoration man...stupid floor...stupid table. Still having her silent tantrum, she kicked a table that was about twice as big as her, not surprisingly hurting her foot. She mumbled a few choice words and bounced on one foot while she held the other one. Something glowing on the table caught her eye and diverted her attention. She moved to some strange equipment and made her way onto the table. There were different stones on the table...little pieces of stone. Lots of them. On what looked like microscope looking devices. Pretty green one. She glanced around the room and found larger chunks of the stones in nicely sealed off containers. She glanced back at the small shards a moment, then down at the sapphire necklace hanging around her neck. She looked back at the green shard and smiled. She'd kill two birds with one stone here. She'd take it, making someone mad. That would make her feel better since she was still kinda mad. And she could give it to Sapphire since she made her this pretty necklace. Carefully she crawled across the table until she came upon the small green piece. She picked it up and held it in front of her. It really was pretty.

Black Cat came up behind the girl and put her hands on her hips. How had she gotten in here? Whatever. "Hey, kiddo," she said smoothly, "Not to be mean, but I think you have something of mine."

The voice that suddenly came from behind her startled her so much that Rosie actually jumped and spun in the air to face whoever it was, nearly knocking off the other equipment on the table. Instinctively she put both hands behind her to try and hide the stone...a child's strategy for not getting caught with something. She took one look at the woman and felt strangely relieved. She was still probably in trouble, but it wasn't the Reaper guy.
Come to think of it, why was she hiding the stone? She had wanted to take it just to get on someone's nerves..hadn't she? She wasn't feeling quite as angry any more. But still...there were lot's of other stones in the room, why should she give up this little stone. There was probably a bigger chunk of it somewhere as well. Plus it didn't have the woman's name on it....whatever her name was.
"Hm? What do you mean?" she asked innocently.
