*Random village in the middle of nowhere, hundreds of miles from the BC and with no real importance to any plot or scheme.*
"It's oh so quiet. I like it when things are this quiet." Truinthil tilted his head and looked at the village around himself. Despite the feral look in his eyes, every building was in tact without even a hint of structural damage. The same couldnt be said about the village people, however. "So quiet."
Bodies littered the street of the village. Blood was partially covering nearly every wall in sight. Not a single body held a face however, but instead there were only gaping holes where the eyes and nose should have been. There werent any lips either. For those that even had a form identifiable as a body this was the case. It was evident by the spatters of blood and body parts that some people had literaly been torn apart and strewn all over the small town. Blood made little rivulets in the dirt street, all of them leading straight towards Truinthil, creating an intricate web of blood. "Come to me now. Come to me and forever be mine!"
Lifting his eyes to the sky and raising his arms above his head, wrist blades still dripping blood, the small channels of red liquid on the ground began to ripple away from him. Slowly, but with gaining speed, the blood began lifting into the air, drop by drop until it looked as if the earth was gushing blood. Closing his fists, Truinthil exhaled heavily while openign his eyes as wide as they could go. The blood all evaporated then and a wind began to swirl around the town, slowly concentrating upon Truinthil.
What looked to be a red mist from the blood began streaming towards and seemingly into Truinthil. This went on until no more mist remained and Truinthil shuddered, a look of ecstacy in his eyes. "Again!" His fists opened and this time it was the bodies, torn and whole alike that exploded, forming a red mist that again began swirling around the town, slowly coming circle tightly around Truinthil. Once again this mist seemed to enter him without staining his clothing or his skin.
It would be suddenly that the wind died out, leaving Truinthil standing with his arms still held outwards above his head. With a gasp he fell to his knees, digging his wrist blades into the ground. His eyes almost buldged from whatever it was he was feeling. "No limits. No more limits. I can do everything that he dreamed of doing. Everything that he never did out of fear. No limits!" Laughter erupted from him then as he stood and turned in a circle, surveying once more the town which now remained utterly empty. Not a single body remained in on the ground, or in a house or shop. Some blood remained on the walls, but that was only so as to leave a mark. A sign that he had been there.
Still laughing, Truinthil wrapped his arms around himself and disappeared with a loud clap of thunder, the ground where he had stood depressed downwards about three feet. Windows throughout the small town shattered with the immensity of the thunder. Likely it would be heard for miles, though it would probably never reach the BC in audible form. The wind also resulting from the sudden forceful exit of Truinthil would continue on for many more miles. If and when it were to reach the BC, it would smell of death. A smell of death more rotten than any a person could have ever imagined possible.

Well then if you are so sure of yourself and these items, why don't you go get them?

Kyiana_Hedrith Well then if you are so sure of yourself and these items, why don't you go get them? *Kyiana rolled her eyes and began tapping a finger upon the arm of the chair she had sat in.* Erudemasa laughed. "Oh, my dear Cianti, I fully intend to. I was simply seeing if either of you would be coming on the search as well or if you're going to languish in opulence here." The music, which had quieted for a moment, began to crescendo. Erudemasa, swaying back and forward and dancing in his seat to the music, was paying minimal attention to his comrades, just enough to hear and answer questions. The portal through time he'd opened earlier had since closed, leaving the room as it was before.

-_o Eh...I doubt Mastema will give it up willingly if he's got it...I'd rather we check the other place first. What do you think, Kyiana?

I agree. Mastema is very unlikely to yeild anything he may have in his possession. I'm up for trying the other place, but if you think that Mastema would be easier then we should go there. It's your plan, Erudemesa.

*Remote mountainous region perhaps one hundred leagues from the BC*
Lounging on an upturned and lifeless Dragon's claw, Truinthil grinned lazily as he tipped a goblet of blood over his upturned face. His mouth opened as the blood struck his face and began evaporating, the mist seeming to absorb into his body. Laying behind him, attatched to the lifeless claw, was an equally lifeless Dragon, of a size rarely seen in today's world. It was perhaps as large as a lower merchants 'palace' would be. In front of Truinthil lay two more Dragons, each one perhaps half the size of the one he sat upon. All three were lifeless, eyes glazed over in death; where there were eyes remaining.
Some of Truinthil's clothing was singed, showing that they had not been easy prey, but the armor-like scales of the dragons showed far more damage. Large gashes, gaping holes, and seared flesh marred all three Dragons' bodies. Blood had been practically sprayed over the surrounding terrain during their breif battle. The wings of one of the Dragons lay literaly fifty yards away from any of them.
Surveying the scene for a long while, Truinthil eventually rose, a nearly silent laugh bubbling from his throat as he did so. Like in the town days before, he raised his arms to the sky and closed his fists. Again, as in the town, all blood that hadnt already dried rose up into the air and evaporated before being absorbed into Truinthil as a faint red mist. Again his arms came down and he let out a loud breath as the three deag Dragons turned to mist as well only to be quickly absorbed, leaving only the bloodstained rock and dirt as evidence of what had happened.
Cackling loudly, Truinthil fell to his back and began spasming as the last bits of the mist came to him. The town of humans had been one thing, but Dragons was something entirely different. The force their existance had far surpassed that of even several hundred humans and caused his body to exalt in ecstacy. Without realizing it he had curled up into a fetal position while still laughing in a blissful manner that bordered on stark insanity. After several minutes, Truinthil was able to stand of his own accord and stifle his giddiness. With a final look around, his eyes feral and his cheeks a rosy color, he wrapped his arms around himself and as before seemed to simply disappear, creating a vaccuum that resulted in a loud clap of thunder. Also, as before, a heavy wind blew towards then away from where he had stood.

*In the center of a small, hidden community of Demons and other shunned creatures about one hundred and fifty miles south west of the BC.*
"Please! I beg of you! Spare me my life! I will serve you however you wish! I will do whatever you ask of me, but please spare my life!" a rather human looking man cried out amidst tears and sobs. All around this man was carnage. Weapons lay strewn all over the paved street, covered in blood of various colors. Many lifeless forms werent humanoid, but instead resembled creatures of wild fantasy and or vivid nightmares.
Humanoid or monstrous, most of the bodies were mutilated beyond what any merciful slayer of demons would ever dream of doing. Heads were turned backwards upon their necks, arms ripped from sockets, and ribs pulled outwards to appear as open doors rising out of bloody masses. Some bodies had been more cleanly destroyed by bladed weaponry, but those were few and far between.
Standing over the humanoid demon was Truinthil, a blank stare on his face as he gazed emotionlessly at the pitiful demon. "What would your family think, I wonder? That is them behind this here wall, isnt it?" He raised his right hand to a wall to his right and flicked a pebble from his thumb using his middle finger. The wall cracked as soon as the pebble hit then fell away in rubble to reveal another humanoid demon, this one female, cowering with a child in her arms. "What would they think if they could see you begging for your own life without thinking of their safety at all?
"I...I thought they..." The demon turned to the woman and child, "I though he had already killed you...I thought...." He was silenced from speaking any further as Truinthil's hand slammed onto his face, grabbing it hard enough to crack the bones beneath that tear stained skin.
"Your whining and excuses sicken me. Because of that, you have earned the right to watch your beloved family die." Without letting go of the Demon, Truinthil reached to the back of his waist, grabbing one of the wrist blades that rested there. With a short laugh he hurled the blade for the woman's head, the chain attatched to the weapon rattling as it flew towards its target. At the last second, Truinthil twitched the chain just the slightest bit and sent the wrist blade diving downward to slam into and through the right side of the womans chest, just below her breast. Odds were that it had pierced her liver, if she had such an organ. With another laugh Truinthil pulled on the chain causing the wrist blade to fly back to his hand with which he grabbed the weapon as it came near. Lowering his arm he grinneda the man whom he had never taken his eyes from.
"Not even a scream? I applaude her. She is not dead yet, however. I give her maybe...Oh. Five to ten minutes at the most. She will bleed out slowly. Painfully." Looking to the child then, who was now weeping, Truinthil made a sad face and stuck out his lower lip. "Awww. He's just so cute isnt he? I think I will do you this one kindness and spare him from pain." Flinging his right arm, the wrist blade was sent once more into motion, this time cutting clean through the neck of its target. The child's body fell in a heap, the head rolling.
Before the man could so much as resume his weeping though, Truinthil raised him into the air only to slam the back of his head against the paved street with enough force to break the large block of stone that he had was standing on. Crushing the remnants of the skull, Truinthil let out a long sigh as the blood that filled the streets evaportated and turned to mist, spiraling on him and eventually all being absorbed. Then the bodies, perhaps four hundred in total, all liquified and turned to mist as it all spiraled around him and were absorbed.
Unlike before, Truinthil didnt fall to the ground in ecstacy, but stood instead and closed his eyes. He was getting used to the feeling, though he still did feel quite elated each time. Opening his eyes he took in a sharp breath and began laughing, only to let that laugh be cut off as he snapped from view, creating the familiar thunder clap and resulting inrush of wind followed by a gale force wind that swept through the town and out into the surrounding valley.

((-_- Oh please, demons? The dragons I could have believed, but all you did here was change the word human with demon and gave them the same reactions. Either that or these were some seriously stupid and useless demons. =3 Of course, if you want to have a real fight instead of slaughtering some NPCs you're welcome to clash with Leah at the Dojo, or I can write up a post for his clockwork fortress that you can try to siege.))

((Is it so hard to believe that some demons would take on a humanoid form? Not all the bodies were of humanoid form, however. Take care in reading my post. I used a humanoid type demon as the main focus because I was tired and it was easier to decribe at the time. If you wish me to be even more precise with each and every one of my post, I could very well write books for you all to read and respond to. Or you could leave me be and allow me to post the way I wish to post so I can spare you the troubles of reading posts that rival short stories.))

((And the NPCs? Would you rather I begin slaughtering everyone's characters and using their corpses in my schemes? Would you enjoy it if I destroyed your character and used the body however I wished whether you liked it or not? Would you even allow me to do any such thing to your character? That is why I use NPCs right now. To serve an end purpose that I wouldnt otherwise be able to pursue through killing peoples characters. Were I to try and kill everyone that was active I would get many flames of anger and god modding to save characters. No one would want to go along with my plan and as always, my plots would be beaten down and shat upon by those who feel they are so far above me and everyone else. This is my plan, I do it my way and if that involves the seemingly pointless slaughtering of NPCs then so be it. I'm sure you would much prefer it were NPCs that I used for my end plan than your characters. ))

As the song began to fade away, Erudemasa lost the faraway look in his eyes. This look was quickly replaced by his normal glint of mischief. "Oho? My plan? Does this mean you'll follow what I say? Oh, how wonderful!" Erudemasa exclaimed, jumping to stand on the piano bench. "Very well then! Commander Erudemasa is issuing orders! We'll stop by the citadel first. I imagine they'll have more of the objects of art I describe. After steal/bargaining for one, we go to Xol. Xol's no slouch in magic, nor is he a fan of D (or realize how much the plan will affect him either, making him easier to manipulate). We get him to help prepare the object so that Kyiana and I can use it more easily. Once that is accomplished, we wait for me to resynch with the world and begin.

Two points, one light and one dark, appear at the edge of the Realm of Dreams. They flicker at one another in rapid succession, then the dark point drifts off towards the group of travelers while the light point hangs back in a huff.

Alright then, we head to Mastema's Citadel. But one question. How do you plan to get in through that barrier he has around his home?
*She turned her back to the other two, preparing to leave this Realm. She noticed the two points of light and was only slightly intrigued by them, but kept a wary eye out for anything else unusual.*

"I'll ask nicely for him to let us in. That's sure to work!" Erudemasa said, grinning widely and guilelessly. "After all, not like Mas knows why he ought to oppose us. Why wouldn't he help us take out a potential enemy?" Erudemasa got down from his bench and began to pace around the room for a bit. Not because he was nervous, but simply because this was just all so *exciting*!
Out of the corner of his eye, Erudemasa spotted the lights. "Oho? What have we here? A couple little dreams stranded here in this deserted world?"
