Shikamaru was getting better all the time. His shadow could extend twice as far as it used to when he first started his training. He could also extend out multiple shadows, or even an aura of shadow that surrounded him. Shadow manipulation had been a part of the Nara clan since the village first came about and Shikamaru wanted to make sure it was one of the foremost of his weapons.

Ken bowed slightly, leaving the room as well.
As soon as the door shut behind him, he stretched his arms, and peered around to the side.
He swore he saw someone there, but ignored them, turning back to Rin.
"Now what?" he asked casually, leaning on the railing.

Ken grinned as well. "Does this mean you actually want to stay with me? Cool." he said simply, starting down the stairs.
"I know exactly where I am going first...I'm hungry, so I'll need to find somewhere to eat." he added, looking back at Rin.
"Afterwards, if I'm going to stay in this city for any length of time, I'll need a tour or a guide. Think you can help?" he asked, continuing his walk down.

"I don't know...I don't feel like breaking my neck so far from home." Ken said. "And as long as the ramen shop is good, and won't kill me like the stair jumping will, then it's a date." he said absently, walking.
He looked around the city as he went, trying to map out the place for further reference. Because he had no idea what areas or places where called, he used landmarks to get his bearings.
After that, he was able to get a vague idea of the city's layout.

"The stair jumping won't kill you I swear.Now dates on the other hand..."Rin said drifting off smiling."Listen Ken-Kun,I've jumped who knows homany times and never once have I huirt myself.Okay at the start I sprained my wrist a time or two but no more than that.I trusted you with the lighning bolt thing and now I'm asking you to trust me.Once you've done it you'll wanna do it again and again."Rin said with a brilliant smile.
Sighing Lord Hokage stood and left his office to go to the tea shop for tea and some fresh air.

Kikyo waited a moment longer, then opened the window quietly. She landed in the office and began searching in the Hokage's desk.
Gotta hurry! Gotta hurry! She thought frantically.

Ken nodded, grinning mischeviously. "Fine, you win, only because I need a guide." he said, taking a few steps back.
He ran forwards on the landing, launching himself through the air.
He soared down the staircase, landing with a shoulder roll at the base.
"You mean like that?" he asked casually, leaning on the railing.
As soon as he did, he groaned.
"Ooooh....that'll hurt in the morning..." he complained, grabbing the shoulder he rolled on.
