The morning light crept through the window, gently dancing over the light mask, petting it like a long lost friend. It had been so long since she had felt the light, she thought, slowly becoming aware. The room was quiet, save for little sounds, and it was peaceful, reminding her of... something she couldn't remember. She stretched, the light coming from her mask overtaking the light from the morning rays, and as naturally as a child waking a small girl appeared, sitting on the table where her mask had been. Even in child form she had a certain class, but her stretching arms were high above her head, her legs straight out, and she had changed mid-yawn, making her flush slightly as she realized this. Not quite the enterance I had hoped for... She muttered. ((Light is here, me luvs. She demanded morning light for her changing time))

G_E blinked, "Fauve's missing.. this isn't good. We keep losing people." She smiled kindly at Merci', "Of course I'll help!" She nodded at Cin and gently pushed Nika ahead of her before she followed Merci' into the trees.
Nika grinned at Kasai and whispered, 'Not yet... but she's been acting strangely... it's almost as if she's beyond paranoid.'
"I heard that..." G_E grumbled shotting him a 'look'. Nika shrugged and followed close behind Merci'.
Fauve's voice screamed through his head and Nika jumped. 'Fauve?' He glanced at Kasai, 'Did you call her? She's screaming at us... I can hear you!' He yelled. 'Where are you?'
G_E stopped and stared at Nika, "You can hear her? Which direction is her voice coming from?"
Nika's shoulders sagged, 'I'm not sure. I can't really tell...' He noticed Io out of the corner of his eye and he beamed at her, she seemed so familiar.... It was so strange how he knew he should know somebody but didn't exactly know them.'
Hello.' he waved at her.
G_E watched Merci' and waited for her to answer Cinder's question.

Kata gulped looking at the little girl. Ok things will be just fine just start talking to her. Wow, she is pretty. Kataio shook her head and looked at the little girl for a very long time.
It is rude to stare you know. Zahar sat up and looked her gaurdian up and down. My name is Zahar, it is a pleasure to meet you. She didn't hold out her hand but she did straighten out her dress. Where are the others? I can hear them but I cannot see them. Talking about a girl named Fauve... Though her mask covered her face her eyes showed her feelings. Already she was thinking and planing.
"N-nice to meet you too. Let's go find the others and see what's going on." Kata was scared of her mask in a way, she already seemed to know so much, were the others this quick at the up take? She held out her hand to Zahar and helped the little girl out to where the others were.
Beautiful day. The sunshine is great, is it not? Zahar looked up at Kata as they started getting closer to the others.
"I'm not too fond of bright light. It hurts my eyes." Kataio shrugged it off by adding, "I love the heat and the day time though." She hoped that she didn't hurt Zahar's feelings or anything, it would be a bad start.

It had taken Chae several hours to calm Shiva down. She had at first thought that the fireworks themselves were the cause of her fright, but as the girl had denied that vehemently, and seemed not the type, Chae came to the conclusion that there was something else that had bothered the girl.
Chae, herself had been unnaturally unnerved. She remembered grabbing the girl and running, and then a panicked mess until she got them home and the aftermath cleaned up.
Her own lack of composure was unusual in context with Shiva's. Like a mass panic or something.
She had finally put the child to bed, sitting up and watching her sleep. It was a long time before she had closed her eyes.
Unusual. That was the word.

There was suddenly a bright energy that hadn't been there before... and all those voices, and shouting... it was making her head hurt. Or maybe her head already hurt and all the noise was making it worse. She wasn't sure.
Something about Fauve was said... what about Fauve? Sissa? Why's everyone talking about you?
Ash was still just a bit too fuzzy to remember much of what happened last night, and not quite awake enough to register what was going on now.
((Had a longer post typed up earlier but my internet ate it and I can't remember what all I typed so I made a sort of condensed version with just Ashy...))

Merci felt better having the two girls, and their masks, help her in her search for Fauve. After all two heads are better then one.. and Four is even better then that. Merci turned her head to Cinder and listened to her question. Well, if the two masks could hear her..... Merci tilted her head and really concentrated on where she usually heard Fauve. It was so faint, but she thought she heard something... something... she turned her direction just slightly and started weaving her way through the underbrush. "I... I'm not completely sure, but I think she's this way. I just have a feeling she's this way..."
Fauve blinked a little bit when she heard a chorus of boys answer her call, squinting a little bit she directed her "voice" in just their direction. It wasn't as easy as she thought it was going to be, 'Yes... yes I'm Fauve, who are you? Are you coming to get me? I... I'm next to a fallen log..' She trailed off and looked around herself, she grimaced. Fauve had no clue where she was currently, and discribing it wouldn't really help cause it could be anywhere in the forest. She tried again 'I sent my.. my pet, Inathe... Inathe will show you.' She didn't know if he'd gotten there yet but he should be shortly, he was smart.
She stood there a second and then her eyes got huge. Oh.... no... BOYS were looking for her. She couldn't let them see her like this, she was a mess! She reached up and almost frantically started running her fingers through her hair trying to straighten it out. She, she heard her sister, a little more distant, and alot quieter then the others. Fauve straightened up and felt like crying, Ashirha was alright... 'Ashy! Ashy I... I got lost.. I don't know where I am.. You're.. you're alright' Fauve sat down on the log and covered her face, tears coming to her eyes, tears of relief that her sister was alright.
Inathe saw something, just a little movement. He couldn't be positive it was them, but the little thing didn't really think about what else might be moving through the forest. He dove down through the trees and perched on a branch overhead. He tilted his head, what he saw and what he remembered didn't quite match up. Merci wasn't fuzzy, didn't have long teeth, and definately didn't crawl around on all fours. His tiny little mind whirled and he took off again, that wasn't what his mother wanted. He flew back up and circled, taking a few minutes to spot the right group. He dropped down and landed on a branch looking at the girls and the two mask boys. THAT was right! Inathe cooed his happiness. He didn't have any idea that what he had seen before might mean danger for either his mother, or this group of adventurers.
(gotta put them in just a little bit of danger, and Ice said that the Rade were free, just not Baron.. we'll just have to see if their lucky enough to stumble on either the girl or the party huh?)

Nika listened carefully to Fauve's voice. It was so difficult to tell which direction her voice was coming from since he sort of 'heard' her in his own head. A gut instinct told him she was northwest... but he couldn't be sure. Suddenly, he hed his head up higher. His gut instict had never let him down before! So he would go northwest! Wait a minute... How did he know that his gut instinct had never let him down before? How could he know?
His shoulders sagged again, he couldn't be sure of anything right now.
'I'm Nika!' he shouted, 'We're looking for you.' He chuckled a bit, 'Could you give us a better discription of where you are? Gee and the others might know.'
'Inathe?' he turned to Gee, 'Fauve says she's near a log... and she's sent her pet dragon, Inathe, to show us where she is.'
"Inathe? He's pink right?" G_E glanced at Merci' and than looked up into the trees, searching for any sign of a little pink dragon.

Merci looked at G_E and then up at the trees, not long after she said something the little lavender dragon lit on a branch over head. Merci pointed up and elbowed Cinder. "There he is. Gee look he's up there."
Inathe hopped up off the branch and dropped down to Merci's shoulder. He chirped at the girls and took off, flying ahead, landing on a low branch in front of them, and cooing encoragingly.
Merci looked between the two and sighed "Guess we should follow him, he'll know where she's at." With those words she started following the little thing.

Ashirha blinked in mild confusion. Why did you go and get yourself lost? And why would I not be alright? The previous nights events were still a little fuzzy, but something was starting to come back to her...
Oh. Right. The scary guy. Next time she'd try running first, prank or no prank...
I think I just got forced to take a nap is all... my head hurts though. She sent her sister a mental grimace. But anyway... You ok? I'll come get you, gimme a few minutes.
She glanced over at her guardian, wondering if she should get Haisyn to go along in case there was trouble, but Haisyn was out cold, and seemed to actually be sleeping well for once. Just this once maybe she'd have her own adventure. And she didn't know why, exactly... but this time, she was determined that she would protect the people she cared about. Fauve needed her, and she wasn't going to mess up this time.
Several minutes later she was scuttling from bush to tree to bush, pretending to be a sneaky ninja with one hand on her wakizashi, and doing her best to make sure she was following her 'Fauve sense'. She'd always had a knack for finding Fauve no matter where she went off to hide, this wasn't any different, right?
Of course she caught up to Merci and company, but she decided to go around them. She was gonna find Fauve first! She had to look after her sister, so she wanted to check on her before anyone else found her. And give her the clean jacket and the brush she'd brought with her, she knew Fauve hated being less than presentable. The jacket wasn't quite up to Fauve's standards but it was better than nothing!

*he could hear 'her'. After Nika finished talking to her he decided to say something, after all he had been in on it from the start* Hello, Fauve? This is Kasai...we are going to find you...just give us a moment. *looks at Cin* We should probably go and get her, she sounded kinda scared.
Don't worry we are going to get her. *picks Kasai up and starts following Merci'*
*As he is being carried into the forest Kasai looks back at the Masque girl that Nika had said hello to* *waving at her* Hello, we are going off to get Fauve.

Io ignored the others, taking in one important fact... Fauve was missing, and she knew for a fact that Silva was back. But she couldn't tell them that, Ice had wanted to keep them in the dark for some reason. Stupid, if you asked her. If they didn't know then they wouldn't be as cautious as they should be.
She stood, calling out towards Ice. They've lost another kid, Ice. I'm going... hunting. But she didn't mean hunting for Fauve. She turned, grabbing her bow and arrow, then making sure she had a gun as well. She cocked it, casually, then headed off in the direction they had found the fairy in. At a sixty degree angle of the way Fauve had been calling from.
The other Silva would be somewhere near there. The two were strangely alike in some ways.
And tell Fauve to quit shouting, we're not the only ones that can hear her. She said, looking directly at Nika before disappearing into the woods. She had revenge to get. One of her girls had been hurt before, she wouldn't allow another one to.

Nika blinked as Io dissapeared. That had been strange... why did she just leave like that? Oh well, there was something more important to do.
'Fauve,' he shouted, 'Io says to stop yelling! There's somebody else that can hear us...'
Who could hear them?
G_E looked where Merci' had pointed and than hurriedly swept Nika up and onto her shoulders. She held his hands so that he wouldn't fall backwards and followed Inathe as fast as she could with a child on her shoulders.
Nika grinned. His head bobbed with each step Gee took and he was taller than all of the others. He could see more than he could when he was walking. Maybe it'd be easier to see Fauve from where he sat.

Fauve heard several things happening at once and felt alot better knowing that she was going to be saved. She was however worried about her sister coming to get her. She was about to tell Ashirha to stay where she was when she heard one of the boys telling her to be quiet. She leaned back and kicked her feet up where she could get a good look at them. Her little black shoes were scuffed and her white socks had smudges of dirt and grass stain. She tried to think about who else might be able to hear her, that mystery would keep her entertained for awhile, and keep her quiet. She wouldn't yell, not if Io said there was something out there. then there was.
Inathe wound his way through the trees and stopped on a branch. He snaked his head around on his neck and ducked down low, seemingly looking for something. He stood up on his back legs and stretched his neck out before jumping back off the branch.
Merci isn't looking where she's walking, shoving through thick folage keeping her eyes locked on the little lavender dragon. He seemed... well... Merci didn't look very happy. He didn't seem entirely sure of where he was going but he was heading in the general direction her gut was telling her to go.
Fauve stood up, she didn't want to move but she was getting a sinking feeling that something bad was going to happen. She looked around, she could feel her sister somewhere nearby. Fauve shut her eyes and pressed herself against the tree next to her and comforted herself with thoughts of hugs and warmth.

*Kasai blinked a bit* Someone else can hear us Cin...who could that be?
I don't know darling...who told you that?
Nika was told by the older masque girl, she said not to yell.
You stay quiet then hon. *Cin followed behind Merci' trying to stay on her trail...wondering who it was who could hear the masques and hoped that they couldn't hear normally since Merci' wasn't being too quiet*
*Kasai furrowed his brows...he had just been trying to help...sigh...and now he had to just sit here quietly.* I should have just stayed in bed *he thought to himself*

Ice jerked as she heard Io's call, grabbing her blade and heading out. If Io was right, and Fauve was lost... Silva might decide to take advantage of it. A child was a wonderful tool, after all.
Her expression was cold as she signalled for Scab to head out, then sighed. The large man hadn't had any sleep... none of them had, actually. They were no match for Silva whether he had sleep or not.
She headed for the small group, scowling slightly as she noticed which way they were heading. "Which way'd Io go?" She asked bluntly, her hand itching for her blade.
