Yuma nodded; "Its okay, i won't be here forever, i guess i should count it as a blessing of sorts. I'll have details and know how to get around here when my true time comes to be here. That and i know where to go get a massage when i need one."

Lucid wondered if he could ever get used to the feeling of portal travel. afterward he always felt like his belly had got left behind on the other end. this time was no different. Lucid stood at the end of the portal for a minute to wait for his belly to catch up. then he looked at Tsume for direction.

Tsume, however, was already half way up the path to the manor staring at Lucid to catch up... Tsume would never wander too far away from his lady, but just far enough to freak Lucid out.

soon as Lucid realized that Tsume wasn't there, he looked around frantically. "How can that giant move so fast" Lucid thought to himself. he rushed to an opening in the trees. the abyss was creepy, even the trees and shrubs seamed to pose a threat. the hair on Lucids neck stood up. he held Akuma closer to his chest, and was revealed to see Tsume heading to the manor.

Tsume stood and waited and once Lucid caught up he went and opened the manor door, "The Lady's room is just up the hall in the center of the staircase of the second floor." Tsume then walked behind the bar and opened a bottle of Manah's famous beer.

Lucid carefully walked her up the stairs. gently he blew her bedroom door open, and lay her on her bed. it wasn't until he set her down that he realized how tired his arms had gotten. they acted like wet noodles. Lucid lay down next to Akuma and admired her beautiful face. it only took moments for him to close his eyes and drift to sleep.

~~~~~~~~~A few hours pass~~~~~~~~~~~
Tsume heard that Lord Chrono would be returning soon, and he had to get Lucid back to Enthelda. so, he slides his third beer into the ice box and makes his way up to Akuma's room. he taps on her door and lets it slowly slide open.
Akuma looked over at Tsume in her doorway, "Does he have to go home already?"
Tsume nodded and shut the door behind him.
Akuma sighed and stroked though Lucid's silky hair, "Lucid... you have to go home now... Tsume is waiting to take you..."

Lucid rolled and gave Akuma a drowsy "what?" he blinked a bit and said "oh ok." Lucid sat up and sleepily wrapped his arms around Akumas waist and rested his head on her chest, closing his eyes again.

Akuma laughed, "Wake up silly boy..."
Tsume sighed, "Would you like me to carry him back... we have to get back before Lord Chrono returns..."

Lucid sighs, "Do i have to? why doesn't Chrono like me?" Lucid stands up and kisses Akuma's forehead.

Akuma smiles, "No, i'm sure he just doesnt want your dad ripping his head off because "He stole you away from him." unless your father is fine with you staying here..."

Lucid smiled, "Oh my father wont mind. he doesn't need me for anything right now." Lucid caresses Akuma's face. "besides, i would much rather be with you."

Tsume twitches, Akuma pouts, Tsume twitches again and eventually gives in to his Lady's desire, "I'll tell Lord Chrono of your decision..." he leaves the two lovers to their room and walks to the main floor to finish his beer and then go to Enthelda to make Chrono aware of their decision.

Lucid smiles and nuzzles Akuma's cheek with is nose. "I have a present for you." Lucid reaches into his pocket and pulls out a velvet black box. "I didn't get a change to give it to you before." He opens the box and shows her the bronzy colored ring. and in it sit a blood stone and a lapis, both held between two maple leafs. Lucid then knelt down on one knee and asked, "Akuma, will you marry me?"
