She smiled and accepted it, taking a bite of that one too. It tasted so good and it took her mind off of her leg, she purred softly to herself.

"I'm glad you like the meat. I tried my best to choose a healthy elk." He relaxes laying on his side watching her.

"It's really good." she said, finishing up that peice too and laying her head back down. She tried moving her leg again and stopped herself quickly "I hope this gets better soon." she sighed to herself.

"I have an idea..." He heads out of the den for a while. Some noise can be heard as he works on something.

She perked her ears up when she heard the noises coming from outside "What is...?" she asked, wanting to get up to find out but couldn't.

He returns dragging in a very big piece of wood, flat but strong looking connected to some kind of fabric. "I'll help you get around. Maybe a cool swim will help your leg heal faster and numb the pain." He walks over and carefully moves her onto the wood, leaving the ice on her leg so that she is totally on the wood. He then moves infront of the wood and bites down on the fabric, pulling the wood and her outside, then toward the lake.

She blushed, he was going to such great lengths for her. She smiled and looked down so he couldn't see her blushing "Ok. Thank you." she said and looked around, this was kinda like a sled ride.

He continues to pull, not stopping until he hade pulled her to the shore of the lake, then he dropped the fabric and took a deep breathe. "I hope your feeling ok." He moves beside her providing a place to lean so she wouldn't hurt her leg, guiding her to the water. He notices the blush but doesn't say anything figuring she would only feal embarressed.

She leaned against him, barely putting any weight on her leg but smiled when she saw the water "I love the water." she said and leaned her head on his shoulder.

He smiles helping her walk. "I'm glad. I do too. Let's move carefully now..."He moves cautiously until both are in the water, then lets her swim. "How does it feel Rose?"

"It feels good." she said, slidding down into the shallow water just to let it soak. Her nose was still above the water so she could breath but she blew bubbles in the water with her mouth.

He smiles warmly watching her. "Good." He swimes out a little ways, then swims back kind of keeping an eye on her.

Once she was relaxed a little more she moved a bit deeper in the water so she could stretch her leg out. She cringed a bit but it felt good to move it without any ressistance.

He relaxes seeing her relax, then dives under the cool water. A moment later he surfaces near the middle of the lake and starts cleaning dirt from his fur and mane. The whole time listening in case she needed anything. "If you need anything Rose, let me know, ok?"

"Alright." she said, still sticking to the shallow end of the water incase her leg cramped up. She found her footing in the sand at the bottom and stood for a second, looking up at a flock of birds that was flying over them.
