Joruri nods, "Thank you sir..." he said and moved to set Sehnin down. He then sat himself down and took up Idhril's head carefully and stroked her head waiting for his mate to wake up and look at him.

"Joruri know you will be good Ruque...your a good boy....the best of Niyana and Celebor's children." he said softly.

Niyana nods and holds her mate's hand. "I am sure it will not take too long." she said evenly. She guilded her husband towards the montain. So many things were happeneing. Maybe her gut was right and she never should have been a mother.

The dragon looked at the female leave and sighed. She crawled over towards her and the gryphon's ward. Her tail held her tarbard up and swayed giving flashes between her legs.

She lowered her self to lay next to Ruque her head on his lap and her eyes on the gryphon. She was having so much fun with him. She did not know why they had to stop.

Joruri's hand on Idhril's hair slowly brought her back towards wakefulness, and when she opened her eyes and saw Joruri above her she smiled warmly and reached up to take his hand in her own, holding it tightly.

Sehnin's eyes glowed brightly and she hopped anxiously from one foot to the other, holding her armload of violets and giggling happily.

"Mama's awake!" she squealed. "Papa, Mama's awake!"

Ruque stroked the dragon's hair gently as she lay with her head in his lap, but his eyes were on his aunt, anxious to make sure that she was all right.

The griffin stood nearby, half looking out for danger, half watching his dragon companion. He whistled and clicked softly with his beak, telling her that they would try again later, when everyone else was asleep. After all, grooming was a daily necessity.

Joruri smiled warmly. "Yes Sehnin...mother is awake..." he said softly bringing the elf's dark hand to his pale lips and kissed it gently. He was so relieved to see her looking tired but so well. The relief was clear on his normally emotionless face.

He did not look up to Ruque or his daughter all his attention was on his mistress and wife.

The dragon purred softly at the stroking of her long hair. Her red eyes smiling at the promise from her companion. She cooed at him that his feathers had not yet been finished and she had to clean the fur of his tail as well. They were not done yet at all so much still needed to be cleaned and buffed. They could not protect their master without being properly cleaned. And a house gryphon would need to be as royal looking as he could no matter what.

Idhril saw the love in her mate's eyes, and her own eyes were no different. She sat up slowly, making sure not to move too quickly so that she wouldn't get a head rush, and lay against Joruri's chest. She reached out one arm and brought Sehnin in as well so that she wouldn't feel forgotten or ignored, and, still a bit too groggy to say anything, she just smiled and relaxed.

Sehnin giggled and just about dropped her flowers when she was picked up, but she held onto them tightly.

"Look, Mama!" she said brightly. "We picked flowers for you to help make you feel better! It was Papa's idea, he is very thoughtful, isn't he Mama?"

Idhril giggled softly and nodded, slipping one arm around Joruri's side and hugging him tightly.

The griffin chirruped softly in agreement. They both needed to be clean for their master - and even if she was not a house guardian, but a grounds guardian, he would help to make her look like a house guardian, and then they could be together always.

Even if she could not be made a house guardian, he would gladly become a grounds guardian ... just for her.

The sun had been up for a few hours and the now child dragon returned from her turn bathing. She looked up at the cliff to see the beautiful glow from the gryphon. She bit her lip and though she wanted to fly up to him she moved into the cave to check no their master and his family.

She moved towards him slowly looking at her sleeping master. She did not want to wake him but she wondered if she should gather food for everyone.

The child griffin male was sitting tall and proud atop the cave entrance, his golden eyes shining brightly in the morning sun, and his posture reflected his regal position. He watched the dragon female return from her bath, hiding any thought, any hint of what had happened between them the night before.

But he was glad that she was back.

Ruque was fast asleep inside the cave with his aunt, uncle and cousin, but he felt a presence standing over him, and he began to stir. He yawned, rubbed his eyes, sat up, and blinked sleepily at the girl who was standing over her.

"G'm'rn'n," he mumbled, rubbing his eyes again.

Oxana blushed a bit and smiled clicking a good morning. She could not believe that the night of being close to the gryphon had made her forget her place. She bowed her head and moved to check on all the other before hurrying back out side. She flapped her wings up and landed next to her partner.

She clicked softly that the master was waking and he should go to him. After all the gryphon was the house guardian. She shifted to get the best view of the area and clicked seeing two adults moving towards the family.

Niyana smiles, "It looks like Ruran found rather good guardians...and they are his size as well now too." She laughed pointing up to the top of the cave. "Well at least he will be safe...and dear Idhril has Joruri how heals so quickly...and can protect both her and their daughter. And I think if they are all together it will be alright....and all will be safe."

She wondered if her dear son could handle the news, of her leaving.

Novizio nodded at Oxana, but before he headed inside the cave he paused to look at the two adults who were approaching. They were the master's parents ... they were safe, they would be permitted to approach.

He promptly ignored the two and headed into the cave to be at his master's side.

Celebor smiled at Niyana and nodded. "And if they are all together while we are gone," he murmured, "then they will have nothing to fear. You're right. Come, we should hurry and tell them what's happened ... the sooner they know, the better."

Niyana looked a bit worried. She was not sure if she could leave Roque. He was her little boy. And she looked down worried and sad. "Yes...I guess it would be best to hurry...then I am sure you will be happy. It will be alright." She looked up to see the Gryphon moving into the cave and the dragon watching them.

"Yes they will be safe."

Oxana nods and laid her body near the edge to watch. She was glad that she did not need to be with her partner. Even though she really loved their bonding time. And his care and the forbidden lines they crossed but she was ready to take care of her job. Their master and what he held dear were her biggest concerns.

Joruri opened his eyes. For his daughter and his mate's sake he would fake sleep with them. And hearing the shifting around the gave though very soft made him a bit nervous. He watched the gryphon slip in and move towards Ruque.

Celebor put arm around Niyana's shoulders and drew her close for a warm embrace.

"Strength," he murmured, "to both of us."

He kissed her forehead. "Come, things will be fine, you'll see." And he smiled encouragingly at her and took her hand, tugging her forward again.

Novizio flew towards Ruque so that he wouldn't trip over anyone in the semi darkness and landed gently beside him, taking the place of a guardian but otherwise not disturbing his young master at all.

Ruque was sitting up by this time, and he greeted the griffin with the same greeting he had greeted Oxana with: a sleepy good morning, and a half yawn. Then he rose to his feet and stretched, getting the kinks out of his arms and legs.

Sehnin was awake almost immediately, her young senses sharp and her body not needing quite as much rest as most of the others. While she knew that her mama was still fast asleep, she could tell that her papa was faking it.

She giggled and knelt behind Joruri's back. "IIIIIII got you!" she squealed, throwing her arms around his neck and nuzzling against the back of his head. "Good morning Papa!"

Niyana nodded and kissed Celebor's shouler then walked to the cave entrance to. She knocked on the wall and called in softly. "Hello everyone...we are back." she said softly.

Oxana tilted her head watching the master's parents. She could see that there was a streif but she was not a house gaurdain so she could not help in relationship matters. He swayed her tail and lay her chin on her hands.

Joruri held Idhril warmly in his arms even as Sehnin 'attacked' his head. He laughed, "Yes dear...you got me....how did you know I was not asleep?" He asked softly. And he reached a hand back and and rubed her small back. "You are very clever."
PostPosted: Mon Oct 27, 2008 3:22 am

Sehnin giggled and climbed over Joruri so that she could snuggle against his chest. "You had your eyes open, Papa," she told him impishly, cuddling between him and Idhril.

Ruque heard his mother's voice, and he grinned and ran over to her and threw his arms around her waist in a tight hug.

"You're back!" he grinned at her. "Did you have a good trip?"

All of the noise was beginning to get to Idhril, and she slowly began to drift towards wakefulness. She rubbed her eyes sleepily, then rolled onto her back and looked over her shoulder at Joruri. A slow smile spread over her face, and she leaned over and kissed his cheek softly.

"Good morning," she murmured.

Joruri nods, "Oh I see...I must have forgotten to shut them." he said softly and feeling his mate's mind and body awakening he looked down at her. He could not help the smile that moved across his lips as her's touched his cheek. "Did you sleep well dear Idhril?" He asked in his soft sing song voice.

Niyana smiled laying her hands on to Ruque's back before pulling him up into a hug, "The walk was good...but I am sorry to say....Kanis has a broken leg...But Aras is doing very well." She smiled holding her dear son close.

Oxana yawned softly and though she was on duty she rolled onto her back to sun the front of her body in the warm sun.

Idhril smiled and lay back again, and she nodded slowly. "I always sleep well when I'm with you," she giggled softly. Then she reached for Sehnin and hugged her warmly. "And did you sleep well, little one?"

Sehnin giggled. "I did!" she said brightly. "But Papa did not sleep at all! He had his eyes open! He said he forgot to close them, that's how I know he didn't sleep!"

Ruque blinked at his mother's news. "Kanis has a broken leg?" he asked anxiously. "Is she okay? Is her trainer taking good care of her? He's letting her rest like she should, right? He's not making her work and make it worse?"

The boy had been trained well by his mother, and it was quite obvious in his questions, as well as his tone and the look in his eye.

Joruri nods, "And here Joruri thought he had gotten the sleep thing down." he said softly and sat up his eyes moving to look at Celebor and Niyana.

Niyana nods, "Yes....he is doing every things that he should. Your very good at remember that...Is she were home I would let you take care of her, but we can't move her yet." She smiled down at him. She could not bring herself to tell him she would be leaving him for a wail. It was just too hard.

She smiled, "Did you have an alright time with your aunt and her family? She she doing alright?"
