Loot the dead! pirate A set of stormtroopers Mk 1’s or what ever there called now would be handy. The utility belts and such are definitely keepers, whole bunch of neat stuff in them, or was, I don’t know what they carry now.

You cant loot the bodies beyond the DC-15 Carbines and the Utility Belts.
Those are the only quick items you could grab on the way out.

They dont have thermal detonators if that is what you're asking.
They only have an extra medipac and 2 extra power packs filling up the empty slots. Otherwise its a standard utility belt.

You didnt know? Usually stormtroopers carry a cylindrical thermal detonator on their belt. Its that thing thats on the small of their back. The dets are code activated and only the idividual trooper knows the code for his thermal. Its a safety measure and one of the few bits of actual indivduality a trooper gets.
Since these are lower ranked troopers, freshly trained, they dont have thermals.

Really? You know that in the old Imperial sourcebook none of the troopers has a TD.

Needless to say, dont expect to shoot a trooper and get a free thermal det. Do expect to be the target of det tossing troopers.

That TD did ten die six of damage to a ten-meter sphere radius. It could easily kill a three-die strength character. What kind of damage do they do now?
