"Oh, you bet your sweet face I will."
She kissed him on his lips for everyone to see, and everyone who did gave them a little applause (mostly just thankful it hadn't turned into an awkward moment).
Teagan started crying despite herself as the ring was slipped on, and even more so when she realized this would mean forever.
And once again took Nat's face in her hands to kiss him like she wanted to.
"Baby, you are mine. Mine mine mine, and I love you like nothin' else," she said, still crying happily.

Nat too had started crying, standing and pulling her up with him for a full embrace. "And you're my darlin'..." He whispered, trying his hand at his own developing southern accent. "And I'm never letting you go... I'll never Leave you Teagan..." He made that promise to her years ago, and here he was making it again, so she would know he meant it...

Teagan held on to him so tightly, but finally let go simply because people were starting to stare.
That and their food was getting cold.
"When'd that get there?" she laughed as she dried her eyes and sat down. "Waiter won't even wait for us, impatient people."

((-is posting from the road!!! 8D - xD I'm On my dad's lap top and its really touchy and small so excuse the spelling errors if there are some))
Nat laughed, taking his seat, and placing his hand over hers. "I dont know about you but I'm not so hungry anymore..." His voice was soft and sweet as he gazed at her, so relieved she wanted the same thing he did. "I love you Teagan Morrow, and I cant tell you how happy I am right now, knowing you're mine, and I'm yours...." His eyes were watering as he reached up, his hand on her cheek.

(( o.o... well that's the spiffiest method of posting I ever did see! xD))
Teagan laughed everything off. The happy tears, the anxious desire to hold him... it was all a little inappropriate for their setting. It could wait until they got back to the car.
"Hey now, you eat, 'cause I'm not cooking for you when we get back home, no matter how crazy head over heels I am for you." Which was her Teagan way of saying that she felt very much the same, but that they needed to be practical for the moment.

"Fine..." Nat smiled goofily as he began digging into his food, as if an impatient five year old who just wanted to get to the desert...
"But I refuse to take blame if I get a stomach ache..." He smirked over his food, still refusing to give up her hand just yet.

"Oh, like I'm rushing you along!" she laughed. The entire dinner was spent with them holding hands, laughing, and looking at each other like they'd just discovered they were in love all over again. Marriage... together forever. It was such a huge promise to make to each other, but Teagan was sure they could do it. All it took was a bit of faith, which they both had.
When dessert came, Teagan and Nat were handed little menus. She looked on hers, and gave a sly look to Nat across the table.
"Wanna split a sundae?"

Nat returned the smirk, though kept his comments to himself. "If you think you can stand any more sweet or sugar tonight..." He smiled, leaning over to ksis her for the hundredth time.
"But it does sound good... Then we can head over to Damian's...I'm sure he'd be glad to hear the good news, and I'm pretty sure even if just so happens to be asleep..." He smirked bit wider. "That we could find a bottle of wine or champagne to celebrate...just the two of us..." His smirk faded into a genuine loving smile as he reached out to touch her hair softly.

"I remember what happened the first time we got a little tipsy together. Didn't think I'd end up marrying you."

Nat had to laugh at that. "Well what do you think of me now Miss Morrow?" He asked softly, pushing a bit of her hair back as his hand cupped her cheek.

"I think..."
Teagan paused for a minute. That was a big question that deserved a good answer, something well thought out and meaningful. But Teagan's words bubbled out of her without much deep thought past what she felt she knew.
"I think you are... my best friend, and the one person I could trust with anything. You know me like no one else, and I know you well enough where I can guess what you're thinking and be right. You're handsome, talented in so many things, and have been the best person to help me with the flower shop. I couldn't ask for anyone better than you, Nat. That's what I think."

He kissed her.
There were simply no words for him to respond with. She trusted him. He was the best person for her...he had never been anyone's best anything.... His eyes were soft and incandescently happy.
She had spoken about how much he had done for her, when really, it was her who had done so much for him. She had saved him in so many ways. Emotionally, mentally, physically... She helped him kick every nasty habit, let it be physical addiction to emotional baggage...
She saved him from him self...
Wait, he thought, Thats what she is...
".....You're my angel...." He muttered so softly, he doubted she heard him as he simply gazed into her eyes.

"Aw, no," she tried to say out of modesty, because she did hear him ever so faintly. Where Teagan had helped Nat, Nat had helped her. Whether he knew it or not, he had soothed that angry beast she'd had raging inside her. What would once make her throw a fit now made her simply agitated, and instead of chucking things across a room into an innocent passerby's cranium, Teagan just... let it go. She no longer felt truly alone, and the situation with her parents had even gotten better. They were far away, and would stay that way. All she needed was Nat and her group of close friends.

Nat gently touched her lips before leaning in and kissing her gingerly. "Yes...actually...you are...." He whispered back,his eyes soft and longing as he just smiled at her. "...Though I think Now I'm not really feeling desert...." He blushed, noticing this effect she had on him. She could make him utterly drunk with his lust and affections over her just by simply sitting next to him like she was.
"...I love you..." He whispered.

"Then I'll eat this sundae by myself..." Teagan was feeling it, too, but it wouldn't stop her from consuming a beautiful ice cream dessert with whipped cream, peanuts and toppings. That simply wasn't done in her world.
Teagan picked up a spoonful of vanilla and hot fudge, and made a show of eating it. Whether it was just to torture him or to enjoy the moment, it wasn't clear, but she was certainly having fun either way.
"I think you should try some," she said with a smirk.
