aw ********. =( I refuse to buy another amp where the DIRTZ suck. because the V33 has badass enough cleans, but the overdrive is like something straight out of a cheap 60's amps. Still not playable, though, BECAUSE MY STRAT IS SUCH A BEAST THAT IT CAUSES THE LOW END TO CLIP THE SPEAKERS! ._. Needs new speakers and probably need to stick some decent quality tubeeezz in it.

tEH: I would but i like the foot controllerz sometimes. that's the only thing keeping me from trading with someone. I kind of like the shatty tracking on somethings just for the effect.
HM: definitely tube and speaker change. my brother picked one of the V-series up two weeks ago. he said the cleans REWLT but the overdrive was kind of lacking but still decent.

Going to stick a Governor and Swamp Thing in it on the advice of Tuna since we seem to have similar tastes in the bass, mid, and treble qualities of our tones. A pair of 12AUX7 preamp tubes in place of the old shitty ones. Hopefully, that will clean up the overdrive, which is really... uhm... sucky. I'll use it live if I have to, but it isn't well-rounded at all. Its more like a stinging attack. The cleans are pretty damn good, though the speaker and tewb change will make them REWLZ.

@Teh: Depends what color the guitar is. If the guitar is completely a dark color, headstock and body, then I want some dark fingerboard wood to complement it. I hate how it looks on Fenders, though, because Fender always has maple headstocks except on maybe two guitars.
@Blasten: That Verbzilla looks ******** SEXY. Are those awesome?

the verbzilla is a must for me. I love the 63 spring, octa, and cave. the echo on it is okay but I have the space echo for that. wink
it can get some massive/deep verbs... even in mono. I've ran it in stereo a few times and like most things in stereo IT WAS AWESOME. I hear the behringer version is pretty hawt stuff too.
