Her ears drooped slightly. “Do you mind if I stay with you for a bit?”
She always felt like she was an annoyance, and she certainly didn't want to be a bother to Kuma.

Ganon cantered through the trees, confident that Yuritsuki would have no trouble following him. His hooves slapped through the mud along the rough path as he came to the edge of a clearing. The sound of a stretching bowstring, the twang of release, the soft rustle of the guide feathers... the sound of a (genuinely) dead opossum dropping from a tree.
"Got one... it'll be good to start," Ganon murmured, trotting forward and leaning down to collect his kill.

Risa was a little awestruck as she saw everyone in the herd.
She froze in place. She did not know anyone, and was intimidated from all the new faces.
((Gaaaaah. I'm so so so so sorry I poofed for a bit. x.X
I was at band camp... Dx I forgot to leave a message here.

[Omgness! I was at band camp too! YAY MARCHING BAND! Ok, well should i go back and be with Risa now? I figured that since her and Shyru are fairly new to the herd that they would be good together.]

"I could use the company," Kuma said glancing back into the water, "If you would care to join me." A smile came to her lips as she looked back up at Sonya. Of all the random strays Ganon seemed to attract, Kuma had soft spot for the timid Sonya. She didn't show it well, since most of her emotions seemed out of whack lately, but she did care for the young filly.
"Where had you gone of to," Kuma asked curiously, "I didn't see you when the herd was setting up camp near the stream."

Her radiant smile lit up her face as she came to stand next to her. But hearing her question caused her to blush slightly.
“I followed Ganon...I-I wanted to see what he was doing.”

Phedre looked around again. Odd for the filly's sent to have just disappeared at it did. "Well well...it appears she found another heard. No matter.." Phedre had to say in her cold voice. She gave a look around with her cold red eyes. She was getting tied of this hunt. It should have ended a long time back. She had to give a slight say of annoyance. She had enough of this. As she put the crystal down, "I call fouth the spirits!" She yelled out loud as a slight smerk appeared on her face. In a matter of sec.s the ghost become a centuar. "Ahh yes, my most loyal helper. You know what to do. Find the filly. " Phedre watched as the ghost galoped off. "Soon my dear...Soon."

Risa can wait. You're in a conversation with Kuma.
And it sounds like you are after my character, Hope. XD; -shrugs- )
Risa looked around and saw no one of intrest. She saw Sonya conversing with an older kentauride. She wanted to go over but felt that it would be extremely rude. The young filly's stomach purred softly. It knew it was going to get more food soon. Risa trotted over to a tree and laid down her taur half. She carefully laid her head against the tree and closed her eyes for a bit.

(Thank you, everyone! And I had a wonderful birthday! Well, if you ignore the fact that my boyfriend broke up with me on my birthday, which was also the first day back to school... =/
But I got a new laptop! So I can finally retire my dumpy outdated Compaq! YAYYY!!
And no worries, guys. My boyfriend got back with me that afternoon. So its all good. =D )

Kuma's ears folded back at the mention of Ganon, her eyes lowering to the water. It felt like all the fillies spoke of him with high regard. It drove her mental.
"You seem very fond of Ganon," Kuma muttered dipping a hand into the water of the lake, before looking at the water droplets on her fingers. It was beyond her how dirty humans were that they could turn something as pure as water into a stink hole. Something had to be done. She needed to go for a run. Perhaps Ganon wouldn't mind going for a race with her later. That always cleared her mind.

"Well, he did sort of rescue me...but there isn't anything else. He seems almost brotherly."
In truth, there really wasn't anything. She was done with the male race for a while. They'd done enough damage to her in her last herd...
She shuddered, reaching her hands up to rub her bare arms. She was still so frightened of the males. She was even scared to let Ganon get close.
To be honest, she was quite frightened of everything.
She sank to her knees, tucking her legs beneath her body. The memories all came flooding back all at once...and her eyes slid closed, her head lowering.

"Brotherly," Kuma repeated looking a little brighter. It made her feel a bit better that she did not need to feel jealous of little Sonya. That would have been hard to bear.
"Excuse me, Sonya," Kuma muttered getting to her hooves, "Yuritsuki and Ganon should be getting back soon. I need to talk with them." With that she began to trot silently back to the heard, her head filled with thoughts and memories. Her bones filled with aches and pains. Her eyes filled with loss and regret.
