You know when you're pwned when your opponent has got a Throat Slitter equipped with a Whispersilk Cloak and your R/G deck has run out of destroy Artifact cards.

I don't remember exactly the cards he played against me but he played a Sliver Queen and 2 other cards. Basically he would gain 2 Colourless mana for every time he sacrificed a creature. Then the other card was that all costs would be divided in half for colourless. So he would gain inifinite Slivers. He played 100 billion slivers on me. LOL at the time all I had was elfs. This is why I got into slivers. lol.

You know you are screwed when you take a Mulligan, and then ask:
May I still draw seven cards? ninja
The guy looks at his cards and goes:
Why don't you go ahead and take 12?

Turn 5 Ignite Memories for 12, their hand is Akroma, Cancel, and Sudden Shock.

Or, 3 Sporesower Thalids, 2 Paradox Hazes, 2 Doubling Seasons, 2 Followed Footsteps, and many other comes-into-play abilities and thalids.

Had an Emperor game going, I've got one of the endcaps. I'm playing KCI, and the guy I'm up against isn't paying much attention; all he hears is "I repeat this 93 trillion times and gain 93 trillion myr tokens."

He scoops, then before it rounds back to me, the other endcap wraths to save his own bacon, which buys the emperor I'm up against, enough time to fire off Jaya Balard while I'm at 6 life.

It also bugged the hell out of my friends to hear "capsize, buyback, capsize, buyback, capsize, buyback" on an infinite mana combo.

Yeah it's great to do such things and walk away the winner. ^^

Also, am I the only one that find infinite combos a waste of time and a very boring way to win?

He did have the stuff on the board to win the very next turn too. xp

I dislike combo in general.

One of the first decks I ever had was a (rather poorly made) mono blue deck, with mostly drakes in it. My opponent played a Sabertooth Nishoba, and I just happened to not have any counterspells.

Also, back when I was just starting out, I played the reputed best player in the school. He was playing a Time Stretch/Holistic Wisdom/Zombie Infestation deck, (he had just made it and wanted to test it) and it was a 3-way game. Since we had no idea what the hell he was up to, the other guy and I mostly duked it out, until he finally played his Time Stretch. From there on out, he simply kept bringing it back every other turn, and kept hitting us with the damned zombies.

In another game, with my old U/R Izzet deck, I was playing against an elf deck and I used Followed Footsteps on his Priest of Titania. I later burned him for 333 damage. (He couldn't gain life, since I was countering and burning his wellwishers.)

With that same Izzet deck, I once played Time Stretch with Eye of the Storm out, and my deck was at least half instants and sorceries...

The goggles do nothing!
