Greer Nelson Bruce Banner But in 501, Giant Man is still Giant Man, as far as I can tell, not Ant Man. The other two... bah. I'd want to see Spider-Man/Wolverine team up with Tigra or Hellcat way more than a big pile of moss. Yeah Giant Man is still himself after seeing you know what (sorry dont want to be a spoiler for anyone who hasnt read #500 yet).
On the second part that you mentioned....really, you would?!Yes, I would. I was unaware he could grow large in Yellow Jacket persona. I don't know anything about Man Thing, but the fact that he has cosmic powers doesn't impress me much. He'd still be 100% less interesting than Tigra or Hellcat.

Man thing is just a Marvelized swamp Thing, created almost immediately after DC's SW took off. I haven't kept up with the character over the years so I can't comment on current powers and such, but back in the day he was nothing but a clone and not very interesting at all IMO.

Man-Thing first appeared in May of 71, Swamp Thing in September...

Home early? Regardless, nobody even knew who Man Thing was. The comic was painfully dull. I read it as a kid and it bored me to tears.

*Shrugs*
June, September, either way it's obvious that somebody saw something and intended to capitalize on it. I think Man thing failed in the same place where Swamp Thing succeeded and that was adding a human element behind the character. I'm going strictly off of a 20 plus year memory, but Marvel didn't really explore that aspect with him, whereas DC focused heavily on it early on. About the only thing MT did for me was give me a healthy fear of Alligators.
I was wondering why Patience' posts weren't dumbed down.

I agree, I am not a big fan of the artist, but I do like the look of the group. Don't know where it is going with it, but it looks interesting, and I'll be putting it on my list of comics to get.
