 Tristan KaneLeo nodded as he listened attentively. "To lose a child at so young an age..." He trailed off and became lost in his thoughts.
"I truly am sorry." He then observed the scar on her stomach.
"Yes that was a serious wound." He then gave her a cloth so that she may wipe her eyes. "I am glad you spoke to me about this. It is usually much easier to speak with someone about such life-changing events. I hope that my support is comforting to you."
((Sorry I have been gone so long. I was camping and there was no internet. Next time I'll let you know beforehand. ))

Jessica gently dabed her eyes and she smiled very softly up at him, "Thank you, I'm glad I have someone who will let me talk to them," she said and took a few deep breaths t stop herself from crying. She had never atualy felt this vunrable before and it was strange for her to atualy talk about her feelings.

Tristan KaneLeo sighed at the thought of his own life-changing experiences. He looked over to Tristan who was standing at the other end of the ship. "I certainly know that talking to another helped me."
Tristan then looked back and waved to them. Mid-wave he lowered his hand to catch a yawn that was escaping his mouth.

Jessica smiled and giggled softly as she looked at Tristan yawning, she felt her self blush slightly but she looked down to try and hide it as best she could. She faned herself slightly to try and force he blush away she then looked back up at Leo. "Thank you, you really don't know how much it means to me, but I think you should go and force him into a bed, even if you have to knock him out first."

Before going over to Tristan he turned to Jessica, "Will you be fine for a moment while I take care of my friend?"

Jessica nodded softly as she watched Leo walk away, she sighed softly and leaned back a little looking out over the water, soon they would be on land an it would be so strange for her. She wished for pirate sails on the horizon but it would not appear, she sighed as she felt small tears in her eyes, she missed her father and she would do anything to see him again.

Tristan KaneLeo then went to Tristan and spoke to him in the strange language they often used. Tristan then gave a large sigh and returned to his room. Leo then returned to Jessica.
"Are you alright? Would you like to go back to your room?"

Jessica shook her head softly and quickly whiped her eyes, "Sorry, once I start crying anything will set me off," she said quietly and she laughed softly. She looked at Leo and smiled very gently up at him.

Tristan KaneLeo smiled gently at her. "I see."
The sun had hit the ocean now and gold filled the sky only to meet reds and oranges, and higher to be found the last of the day's light blues.
"One more day, and we will arrive." He turned from the sun to look at Jessica. "Tomorrow morning you will be able to see an island on that horizon. Are you ready to be on land?"

Jessica nodded softly, "I think so, its strange," she said and sighed soflty as she looked back up at him, "I think all the men here are looking forward to beingback on land." She looked around at the men and smiled a little softly, "Its nice to see happy people again, it was tough for my men since we like hardly ever went to land, as little as posible really."

Tristan KaneLeo nodded with understanding. "In our profession we are needed to touch land often. It's unfortunate for the Captain, though. If he could, he would sail for ever and never touch land again." Leo laughed slightly at the idea and then sighed at the reasons that such a dream could not be possible.
"But with the current 'agreement' he is under, he may not have such a dream become reality. I am actually shocked that he agreed to return to Jad-Bal-Ja since he hasn't been there in so many years.
Tristan will say that he got to his position based on skill, but the truth is that he had no other options. Although, if it weren't for his youth and skill he undoubtedly would have been sentenced to death.
Either way, if he chose to never return to land, he would surely be hunt down and killed." Leo fell silent and was left in thought.

Jessica listened intently to everything Leo said and she felt a little shaken, "Then, I guess he and I are a lot alike," she said and laughed gently, "I never really thought I could ever be like someone like him," she raised her eye brow a little as she spoke.
"I guess I missjudged all of you," she said as she sighed softly, "I'm sorry for that, I never thought I could be like anyone on this ship but if I try there are probably people I would be able to conect to, like you Leo."

Tristan KaneLeo smiled, "We are often misjudged, but I don't blame you. I must say that Tristan purposely supports those who mis-regard us. He is ashamed to be the one who put us in this position." Leo sighed at his friends suffering and then looked to Jessica.
"This is a wonderful crew. I'm sure you could find a connection with many of us."

"Well I do ope I can get to know some people, and I am looking forward to getting onto land a little, but Im also very nervious," she sighed softly but smiled, "I think I might really start to enjoy my time here," she said quietly and then nodded softly.

The moon had taken control of the sky now and night had set in. Leo looked above him and saw the stars. "Are you ready to go to sleep? I'll help you back to your room when you are ready."
Leo sighed at the thought of seeing land tomorrow. So soon, but so long since the last time. Jad-Bal-Ja.
