She listened very closely to the words he articulated towards her, telling of the detrimental and yet beautiful facades to Ria. He struck a cord within her, reminding her of what had been sacrificed, just so that she could live, so that she would not be left alone, so that she could survive. Just as her parents had done so by hiding her within the barn, the nuns had too brooded over her as her parents found their premature resting places. Their death would always be on her mind, but she knew that she shouldn't allow her to become delusional and desiring what pity she could gain. But... it's not pity that I want... I want to know why...
Her lips rested in a determined but impudent way, as she continued to listen to him, knowing that Ria would be a school not to be reckoned with. But she had wished for acceptance, and a place to further carry her own within her progress, and with that aspiration in mind, she vowed not to give up. She nodded resolutely as she seemed lost in a bit of thought. Yes... I shall learn much from this school... "Well, I hope to remain here for the long haul then, at least, until I can gain no more virtue from this place as I have from past experiences. I don't plan on giving up..."

"Very good, then you have learned a lesson it took me lifetimes to learn."
For one who has lived so little time on this earth she is wise beyond her years, I have a feeling it will not be I who teaches her, but more the other way around
"Take this one warning from me, do not allow yourself to get caught up in the bloody path of retribution and violence, nor seek only power. Those paths will only create a hunger in you that you can never satisfy. But on the other hand do not seek to help others to the exclusion of yourself, for your own flower will soon fade, nor seek only knowledge, for in knowledge there is much ignorance. Balance, Balance in all we do my friend."

"Oh, well, I hope that for both of our sakes, if there are more lessons to learn, it shall not take as long. Even though my life seems to be at a shorter advantage." She smiled towards him quite warmly, as she ran a steady hand through her short sapphire locks. But as his subsequent statement had grown in severity, her smile became somewhat leveled down. It seemed there was much more that she had not dwelled upon as much, so she did seem to lack in one sense this guidance.
I seek power, I want more knowledge... and I enjoy helping others... even to that point. He seems to read me like a book... but is it so?... "Wow... this seems quite meant for me, all surface around... my current goals and one certain characteristic. I shall most definitely heed this warning." She nodded yet again, as it seemed quite inveterate, and a sign as to her own assurance. "Thank you Aramil," she gently articulated, her expression remaining content but filled with acknowledgment.

As he watched her talk and tend to her hair Aramil felt a shiver run down his spine, and he shudders slightly but the spasm quickly passes
There is no doubt that I find her atractive both physically and mentally, but remember your training...Discipline, do not let your flesh control you. Remember what happened last time you found a woman pleasing! But she is not Jalie, she is not rules by her passions, a slave to them. But how can you be so sure This battle raged on in his thoughts, but Aramil managed to keep his face impassive as he responded to her
"You are most welcome Miss Lenair" he says with a bow "If you are ever in need of help with your studies, want some guidance or simply want to talk do not be afraid to call upon me. I have a feeling I will be seeing a lot more of you in the future" he adds a smile playing along his features

Lenair found him to be simply polite as he bowed once more, it seemed one of his highest showings of respect. An almost ingenuous happiness seemed to bubble within gut at the mentioning of what aid he could offer her, but she tried to suppress this surge of happiness, for she wished not to use him or become too dependent upon him. He's really kind... "Oh, thank you so much Aramil, that would be really helpful. But... if I were to call upon you, don't allow me to become too dependent or needy... though I trust that I won't fall to that. Also, I agree, we shall have to see each other again, I'd like it if we did."
Her own smile turns into a jocund grin, laced within contentment and understanding, it seemed as though she had finally made her first friend within Ria. Then, a thought came to mind, as she had planned what to do after finding the church on the campus grounds. Her ocean optics appeared hopeful and expectant as a question was frothing within her mind. "Oh, Aramil, would you like to join me for a bite to eat," she questioned him in a somewhat nervous manner.

He smiles at her response and then nods "Yes sustanence would be greatly appreciated." Opening the door and offering her his arm he asks "Well my dear, shal we depart on a daring quest from which we will ne'r been seen alive again?"

She lost her apprehension as he was in accordance with their dining and dispelling their hunger and thirst. Her face seemed almost as luminescent as the jovial sun as she followed after him, holding her staff within her left hand as she hooked her right arm within his as he made the gracious gesture. His question left him in a fit of jubilant laughter, which ended with a light response as they stood at the door, facing the outer world, which had been distant from them as they conversed within the church for quite a bit of time. "Yes, let us be off. Heh, as long as the journey is not solitary I don't mind."
As the door remained ajar, a few small breezes her, came as though having awaited her presence outside. Her bangs and two lengths of hair were flayed amongst her gentle face, but she was not left blinded by the minor distraction. She outstretched her wings for a moment, before setting them at rest once again against her azure blouse. From there, she boldly stepped with him, as they exited the building, arms locked, and their minds set upon nourishing their bodies. Those familiar endemic priests cast their own questioning glances, as the door was closed behind them by one of the fellow men.

If you had the luck,of not just bearing the sight of the naked eye,but the eye of someone who could see through Spirits planes, through the gates of Hell and Heaven, and live to tell about it,then you would of seen Joy.
Sitting on the Peak of the Church, where a metal cross stood,a small girl with perfect tanned skin, and the longest green hair that was blown forward, while the other peice was blown back, that you would think that it was the streams of the willow leaves, her yellow tail looked soft to the touch,as well at her ears. A small melody was heard, drifting off into the summer wind,as she wagged her little cat tail, the gold bell attatched to the ribbon tied around the tail rung.
Her eyes were bright and lime green, once a ligth was buried deep inside them, but now was put out, like a snipped out flame. A short white dress she wore, the material uncertain, but it hugged her hourglass curves.
She was see through, but not the small light orbs that danced around her, like small fireflys to the flame. You would think she had fallen from Heaven, but really, she had come up from Hell.
She closed her eyes, thinking, and spoke out,to no one,and to everyone. "If I had opened my little treasure box,my world of secerts,if I had hopped onto that boat,to the land of the free,if I had not pulled the trigger,if I had opened my mouth and spoke those words, If I had realzied earlier who "him" was... I wonder who Joy could of be." Her voice was so soft,so gentle, like glass it could break, like a mother speaking, soothing her child who had just had a nightmare. Joy opened her eyes, the bright, dead, lime green,do deep, like the ocean.
Joy wonders most of all..what we could of been.

Joy opened her mouth, and beagn to sing,it sounding like the wind was playing her,and Joy was just an instrument,as she sung the odd words, making no sense to people unless they knew her well. "If I had opened my little treasure box,my world of secerts,if I had hopped onto that boat,to the land of the free,if I had not pulled the trigger,if I had opened my mouth and spoke those words, If I had realzied earlier who "him" was... I wonder who Joy could of be."
The words danced around eachother,as Joy raised and lowered the melody, the song seepd through the cracks of the church, and sailed into Ria high, filled the class rooms, waking sleeping children in the dorms, only to hear the song of a regretting neko.

Kurai lazily drug himself upstairs twoards his room. A concerned fellow acoytle Gurl took note of it and tapped Kurai's shoulder curiously.
"Father Kurai are you ok?" She asked concerned. KUrai slowly turned with a lazy face on twoards her and smiled. "heh.. yeah im fine Tale.. just another tiring daily day involving the many students at Ria high..." Kurai chuckled.
Tale shook her head. "not that.. your.. wearing only swimming trunks." She said turning red as she turned her head around. Kurai quickly shot open his eyes. "Wah..WHA!?" Kurai looked down and indeed he forgot to change in the hot springs since he was in a hurry to get to his bed. "Oh my.. i left my shirt at the hot springs!" Kurai slapped his hand into the palm.
"Ahh! what was i thinking! i left my clothes there!" Kurai then dizzily leaned against his door. "but im so tired..." Kurai said slowly brining his hand up to his necklace turning it about.
Tale then smiled. "I will get them for you Father Kurai! you just rest ok!" She then opened his door and pushed Kurai into his room. Kurai fell forward onto his carpet floor of his room. "uhh thanks tale.." Kurai said not sure if he should really thank her for that.
Tale just smiled and took a bow. "You are after all a High Priest almost! We should help you as a return for your kidness to this church!" She said and then closed the door.
Kurai chuckled and then rubbed the back of his head slowly making his way to his bed. "yeah.. sure.. whatever.. acts of kidness.." Kurai then yawned and slowly kicked back into his bed.

"Damn it Kurai!" Yelled out a white haired woman with blue eyes carrying a staff with a orb levitating at the tip. "Who the hell was this gurl screaming in your mind!?"
"Gomen Mind Aili.." Kurai chuckled nervously.
Kurai was currently in his meditation state. Whenever Kurai was in it, he was able to travel into his mind and meet with his concious Mind Aili, molded after his teacher Mother Aili. Although she was imaged after Mother Aili, Mind Aili was much different acting then the real one.
"There was a gurl with telepathic powers and she seemingly got into my head." Kurai chuckled. "Well im not too fond of hearing your convos and im much more not fond of listening to you having a convo with a gurl WITHIN your head!" She yelled out and then gave a swift smack on Kurai;s head with her staff. "Atatata..." Kurai studdered painfully.
"So why you in this giant void of your mind Kurai neways? more training? You need it.. after all you were pretty pitiful back then within the Hot springs.." She chuckled.
Kurai sighed but then got a stern face. "I need to learn how to be one with other elements too.. Just knowing Fire isn't enough.. i mean fire is usless when water comes in play.." He said dissapointingly.
"Well unfourtantly Mister Kurai, Your body is already set to focus on within Fusing with Flame. Fusing yourself with other elements would most likely require you to have like another body." She said dissapointingly.
Kurai then blinked. "i see.." He said with dissapointment too.
*********
"KURAI!" Yelled out Tale snapping Kurai out of his meditation.
"Oh! Tale.. ah.. thanks.. my clothes..:" KUrai said rubbing his head as he saw Tale in front of him holding his clothes.
"Father Kurai.. you really shouldn't meditate like that sometimes.. it scares me.." She said with some worry.
"Ahh haha.. but thats how i train my mind .." He said trying to keep an optimistic tone of voice as he took his clothing. "That was pretty fast.. from the church to the hot springs.Thanks." Kurai complimented.
Tale Blushed and then shook herself. "Well i did run all the way. I didn't want Father Kurai To get cold." She said keeping a warm smile on.
KUrai then nodded and asked. "btw.. you saw.. a short gurl there?"
"Keila? Yeah i saw her asking a guy if he wanted to room with her"
Kurai facefaulted. "mu--must be the wrong gurl. oh.. uhh.. wheres my shirt?"
Tale blinked confused. "Shirt? i didn't see it there.."

The wide, long, and elaborate doors of the Church flew open as a gust of warm wind blew a trail of sand into the building. Collecting in one spot it built- piece by piece- a swirling vortex of sand that slowly but surely began to form the outline of a man who looked no less than twenty.
When the man was fully formed sleek raven-black hair fell down to the base of his neck, and blood-red eyes peaked out from his pale features. The man's clothing consisted of a simple Japanese kimono. Sliding his feet, covered with black slippers, across the marble floor he made his way past the pews up towards the altar.
Suddenly he stopped, closing his eyes and raising his right hand to cup behind his ear and listen to the remorseful singing of Joy. "Ah, such a delicious memory." He commented. Breathing in its salty sorrowful taste with a relish the man grinned. "It's a shame you're already dead . . . I'd love to explore it more closely." With a sigh the man re-opened his eyes and continued down the path to the altar.
Some priests called out to him and asked him who he was and what he was doing. They were abruptly ignored. Upon reaching the altar the man knelt down and bowed his head, a malicious smirk spreading across his face. "It is almost time." He whispered to himself.
(OOC: Dun dun dun! >_>;; Oh, and if you are curious as to what he looks like . . . check out the last Gallery page. He's Manasseh.)

"ano..Father Kurai.." Tale said as she watched Kurai leave his room.
"Hmm yes Child?" Kurai asked curiously as he froze in the midst of his descend down the stairs. "Is something the matter?"
"The Shirt your wearing...Isn't it..." She pointed straight twoards Kurai's seemingly frilly shirt with lace around the collar. "A gurls!?" She quickly let out turning red.
Kurai sighed and sweatdropped. "Unfroutantly all my other shirts are dirty, and my favorite blue shirt is seemingly missing.." He then lifted the shirt off his shoulder a bit. "This was the only one i can find." Kurai said dissapointingly. "hopefully no one would notice too much.."
Tale laughed nervously. "You know.. you could just wear your father outfit.." She said trying to convice Kurai not to go out with that shirt.
"I have to keep that one clean.. for tommorows lecture and stuff.. and knowing Ria high, most shirts will end up dirty at the end of the day." Kurai said disspointingly. "besides.. im only going out to pick up some books from the libary. Maybe pass by the courtyard too." And watch the cute swordswoman jog by in their shorts X3
Tale just sighed and then smiled. "Well Ja ne Father Kurai! please come back quick!"
"right.." Kurai smiled back and then walked out.

Following the directions given to him by Kurai since he decided not to go into the library had landed him here. The church. Kai looks around at the large , but elegantly crafted structure taking in some of the plants around it and the aura he could feel from it. To him this place seemed to hum with magic. He walks to the door and enters in through it immediately finding a priest he asks a few quick answer questions and lands himself a room in the northern wing. Kai gratefully walks down the wide corridors until he gets to his room. All the while taking in inscriptions and depictions of heavenly figures etc....He puts the silver key into the lock opens the door tosses his bag onto the floor . He looks around the modestly furnished room it had all the essentials, a bed, a desk, a chair, a recliner and of course a light source. He walks over to the bed and flops back onto it instantly drifting into a light sleep. (well time to go back to work...>.<)

Kurai opened the giant wooden doors with angelic designs carved into with a good heave.
"Ahh man they should really change these doors.. they are getting too old.." Kurai chuckled as he rubbed his wrist. There waiting in front of him was the green haired acoylte Tale seemingly taping her foot against the ground angrily. Kurai quickly was taken back by her look. "Naa.." Kurai smiled. "uhh Tale how you doing?" Kurai asked innocently/
"You forgot this!" Tale said in a stern voice raising up Kurai's Priest ID that he needed to get the books. Kurai weakly took it trying to mantain a smile. "sahh. Father Kurai is soo careles.." Tale said sighing and shrugging her shoulder.
"gomen.. tale.." Kurai said still in his shot down form.
"Oh and don't tell everyone can just come waltzing into the church and find a place to say! some scary looking man named Kai came in here saying you sent him to find a room here. Sheesh Kurai we aren;t exactly the perfect sancturary, theres stil the boys dorm rooms!"
Kurai then blinked. "Did you say Kai?"
