Tarra had just finished keeping some papers now organized and smiled some. She called down to the front desk hoping to get Kira or Lawrence. She tapped her pen lightly hoping Lily was around.

Alice picked the phone up, "Hello, Gingerbread House. How may I help you?" she asked.

Lily smiled and got up from her seat. She quickly brushed of her skirt and smiled. "Sure I`ll go with you." Lily fixed the bow on the back of her uniform and shot another smile at Joel.

" Alice ?...i was hoping to get Kira..well anyway , I need you or someone near you to find Lily and tell her i wish to speak to her in my office ASAP " She said a bit curious why Alice was there and decided she would ask Kira later.

"Lilly?" she looked around. "Yeah, of course." She hung up and went to find Lilly. She found her in the dining room with Joel. "Lilly, Tarra wishes to see you." she said regrettably.

And then there was Alice, come to whisk Lily away. "Well, seems you have something to do after all. I will see you later, then." If the owner wanted to see her, Joel assumed it had to be pretty important. Still, he really did want to see how Kira was doing with the guests. Excusing himself, he made his way to the front desk. "Holding up alright, kiddo?" He murmured as he stepped up close, intending only Kira to hear him.

"yah" Kira said nodding for the next customer. "how's your job going?" she didn't like making small talk with most people, but figured she ought to, considering this was her brother.

Throwing luggage after luggage, on to his shoulders and moving them from the Bus to the lobby, John was actually excited. Always putting down the luggage gently, he went back outside and grabbed more.

"Right now, it is not going at all. I thought I would see if you needed any help." Though now that he was actually here, Joel felt a little in the way. Front desk was simply not his thing.

"can you get me another note book? this one is running out of paper." Kira said, breaking her pencil too. "and a pencil. in Laurence's office, top shelf to your right. just inside the door." she looked at the person she ahd been signing in "one moment please."

Ah, now fetching things Joel could do. Of course, just about anyone could do such a simple task. He was already on his way as Kira was telling him specifically where to find the supplies. He was quick about retrieving the notebook and two pencils, just in case, which he then brought back to Kira.

"Thanks bro." Kira said, taking the pencils and the notebook. "And thank you for waiting, ma'am." she added, finishing up signing the young lady in. That filled up the last page in this notebook, so she opened the one Joel just brought her and started to sign people in again.

"You seem to have everything under control here." Joel admitted with a bit of big brotherly pride in his voice. "In that case, I will get out of your way and scurry back to the kitchen." Joel left Kira to her customers and set off at a brisk pace for the kitchen.

Kira sighed, and continued to sign people in, saying nothing except for the occasional hi and thank you. If only you knew the truth about me doing this Kira thought If only you knew, Loser.

Meanwhile Laurance was in his office, every once in a while he bit off a piece of his desk, he couldn't helpt it as it was made of a nevermelting chocolate,
"Keep this up Laurance and you'll have to ask Alice to make you a new one," he said to himself in his usual low and gruff voice. He looked at a watch and decided it was time to check up on the front desk and the others to see if they were doing their jobs.
"Hullo," he said as he entered the main lobby, "You guys doing okay?"
