The dragon-horse backs off a bit, but Lyra knows it's not done yet. She grabs another arrow and aims for the dragon-horse. As she is about to shoot the dragon-horse comes charging toward her, and she abandons all thoughts of hitting it, diving out of the way just in time.

[[One more time, then I'll give it a rest. I hope I'm not pushing my luck with this. Apparently I'm not.]]
"That was close." Lyra takes a minute to calm down and get her hands to stop shaking. "I can't exactly shoot a bow without steady hands." Once they stop, Lyra chooses and arrow and aims once again at the dragon-horse. The arrow hits the dragon-horse in the head, killing it.
Lyra goes over to sit with the others, making sure everyone is ok and doesn't need anything. "We're safe for now. I'm not sure when another monster will come." Lyra shudders at the thought.

"Thanks Kitty. I'm glad you're feeling better. Do you need another bandage?"
Lyra then turns to everyone. "Everyone is doing great. Between all of us, we should be able to keep these monsters from killing anyone. It's hard work and we get hurt, but it's worth it in the end." She acknowledged the bad things, but also pointed out the good, hoping it will raise everyone's spirits a little bit, including her own.
"I'm going to go see where that towel went. We need to find it so we can use it for bandages."

Lyra is about to go find the towel Siobhan had when an idea hits her. "Why didn't I think of that before? I feel so stupid. The Slytherins all had towels. Now that they have their clothes back, we could gather all the towels to use for bandages. We shouldn't run out that way. I wonder if the house elves collected all the towels."

Animekitty47's out time ends in less than half an hour.
Nick's pretty well out of it for another eight hours, which puts her out for the rest of the day (my clock)...

Tracy saw the Dragon-Horse come in as she was looking for her towel she ran back to where she had left her katana. She grabbed it and ran for the Dragon-Horse just as she swiped it turned and tried to hit her with it's tail she ducked just in time and it missed.

Tracy turned and ran around the front of the creature hoping for another try. When it wasn't looking she slashed an extremely deep cut in the Dragon-Horse's throat killing it instantly. She ran back to safety in case of any other creatures lurking around.
Dragon-Horse is dead!
((I have fairly good luck. I haven't been hit yet!))
