"Gladly." She muttered as she glared hatefully. Gripping her sword that had reappeared in her hand, she stalked over to Roran. Eve pulled her arm back and then made the strike, not holding back at all.

Leena just nodded to Roran, showing him that she wasn't about to interfere, a falcon landing on her shoulder making her blink a bit, turning her head as she could hear something approaching. Lowering her hood, she walked away a bit, running a hand along the large wolf's head, grimacing as she saw Talia. "You are fine?"

Talia nodded, remaining on the wolf for the moment, just about all her wounds completely healed. "Yes." She then reported what she knew to her superior, nodding as she was bidden to head back to the castle, tightening her grip slightly on the wolf.

She sighed a bit, looking back to Roran and Eve/Selena, stroking the feathers of the merlin falcon on her shoulder gently with two fingers. He must have a plan of some sort... It would make no logical sense if he didn't. So, she continued to observe silently, in her head already getting ready to cast some healing spells since she had heard the loud crack.

Roran saw the strike as if it was in slowmotion. His life depended on this, after all. When the time came, he had a split second for the movement he made. His hands let go of his sword and his left one swung up, smacking the blade sideways.

He screamed into the crisp air as the blade pierced his shoulder, sticking in him. He'd pull it out, but doing so would cause his blood to gush out, so he left it there. Falling to the ground, he whimpered a little before staggering to his knees. "G-good," he said, trying to make his voice firm, but failing, "Selena, you and Eve must...work together...so she can call upon you when...need-ded." Falling sideways, his eyes got dazed as he focused on ridding the pain.

"I will not take directions from an insect like you." Selena hissed as she knelt down to Roran, glaring at him still with complete malice. Gripping the sword, she murmured something to herself and then ripped the sword out, holding it at Roran's neck. "I'm not going to let someone like you live." She growled, her grip tightening on the sword again, getting ready to slit Roran's throat.

"Selena stop it. He's an idiot but not one of them." Cori'd gone back to the village, watching the end of the fight. She stood beside her mare, an arrow set to her bow, aimed at the ground. Both she and Eve, or Selena, knew she could have the arrow anywhere she wanted within a second. "Do you really want to kill someone who's offered to help us? Who might be somewhat useful?" she asked, hoping she'd be able to talk some sense into her.

"I hardly find him useful, especially if he cannot handle pain." She spat to Cori, still keeping her gaze on Roran. "No hunters can be trusted. They're heartless, coldblooded killers." She hissed. "And I suggest you put that bow away before I seriously hurt you."

"Last I check he's handling it fairly well. And what about Aiden? Was she a heartless killer?" Cori asked, ignoring the threat. She refered to a girl she and Eve had known, a hunter who had been great at it, except for when it came to killing. She never killed unless it was accidental, always regretting it. She'd eventually died to keep them from getting caught.

"Aiden was weak. And emotions are what blocks people like you from doing what you must! Emotional attachment to any living creature is pointless. It only holds you back and causes un-needed pain and problems." She said quite frankly to the elf.

"Yes it can be painful and problematic, but it's not pointless Selena. Everything else would be without it. There'd be no reason to do anything remotely interesting, no reason to tell anyone anything. Bother with anything. Everyone would be an uncaring hermit or wind up like Altarion, not giving a damn about anyone. Emotions keep people from becoming cold-blooded killers like you seem to want to be." Cori spoke calmly, keeping the spite from her voice. She never looked away, not moving her bow or putting the arrow into her quiver either.

"I exsist for one reason, and that is to destroy Altarion. I have no need for any relations with any people. But I do give a damn. That's why I died the first time. And I do not need any of you. You're all nothing but stupid children." Selena hissed, putting her sword back in its sheath. "Tuin! Let's go. Cori is obviously a traitor." She growled. Tuin reluctantly walked over and she jumped onto the creatures back, before Tuin ran off into the forest.

"Because running off on your own worked so well last time. You have to learn to deal with Eve's emotions and faults. You can't expect her to be as robotic as you are." Cori called after her, sighing and finally returning the arrow, going over to Roran. "Could you get any stupider? I understand your reasoning, but the b***h is impossible to reason with unless you have her where she has to listen. Usually against something with a blade, or arrow, against her chest or neck." she said, looking down at him before sighing. "Lemme help..." she murmured, crouching down beside him.

Hours later, Tuin finally stopped in the middle of the woods and laid down, giving a great sigh of exhaustion since Selena had forced him to run without rest for so long. But now Eve was back in control, and pacing the clearing with anger and fear. "I'm totally lost, I don't know where to go or how to get back, and you're nuts Selena!" She thought as she continued to pace the area. "They were not needed. I can tell you where to go." "That's not the point! We do need people! We need help! That's why you got killed last time! You won't accept anyone's help and you think you can do everything yourself! YOU'RE WRONG!" She shouted. Eve was beyond furious, but there was nothing else she could do except let Tuin rest and then follow Selena's memories to the neck country.

Roran laughed at the blade now pointed at his neck, but with his wounds and flinches, it sounded more like a cackle. He listened to Cori and Selena go back and forth, realizing what Selena was. As she rode off, and after Cori called to her, he did so too. "You're just like him! Heh heh, just like him!" His face became contorted with pain though at the shout, groaning.

Allowing Cori to help, he didn't have much choice now that he was bleeding. If this was allowed to carry on for a little while, he'd die. He felt the faint coming anyways. "Do you....understand? I don't think you..d-do. Not fully...anyways. Eve's not our only hope. She isn't any hope at all. Selena is our only hope. When the time comes, I feel Selena will take total control...Eve will be lost. My reasoning was to get that started. That, and to see how she's...changed..." he then passed out, too much blood already being lost.

Cori sighed, pressing on the wound before grabbing a small potion from Tyri's saddlebag. She made him drink it, sitting back as the wound slowly started healing itself. It stopped bleeding, but it wouldn't return the blood lost.

"She's on her own, Eve. Or Selena. She's pushed the others away, and her dragon... thing is exhausted. Shall I take care of her?" Aki sent the thought out to the mage once again to deliver to Altarion, fearing what would happen if she sent it directly to her lord.

Leena watched silently, keeping her mouth shut in case she couldn't stop herself from muttering some spell to end the bickering. Walking over to him, she knelt next to his blood, her golden eyes glancing from Cori to Roran with a sigh. Holding her hand out, she closed her eyes, whispering something under her breath while touching the fingers that were wet with his blood to the hand she held open. Her hand began to glow a bit, seeming to pour out a liquid as she touched it to his arm, still chanting softly. It would give him back the blood he had lost, opening her eyes to look at him, she was having the liquid move through his skin to get to his veins. It was a tiring spell to do, but she could still do it.

Then she held her hands over his torso, seeming to know where each broken or cracked rib was, ignoring the fact that she was growing rather pale herself. Her eyes flashed, running her fingers along each damaged bone, mending it and then moving onto the next one. Finally sitting back, she hid the hand that had given him blood in her cloak, figuring it best that the knowledge of where the blood came from was best hidden. No need to make anyone worry about her. "We should try to go find Eve, otherwise the vampire that Talia fought against will find her." She closed her eyes briefly, picking Roran up though he remained in a laying down position, swinging up onto her horse. She positioned him so he wouldn't fall off, one arm remaining around his waist. Clicking her tongue a bit, she watched as his horse came over to her, stroking it's muzzle before looking down to Cori. "I should suspect she in some woods given what direction she headed off in. Shall we be off?" She tilted her head a little, the falcon taking off from her shoulder to fly ahead.
