He made a bow when Tansen regarded him at his statements. It was his first time interacting with a Gotei 13 and it was really intimidating indeed. He had encountered Envy, his squad captain, only once and they didn't even converse even once. So, in all formality, this was his first interaction with a captain. He felt a rushing adrenaline inside him but he kept it to himself and prepared to answer his question.
But before words came out of his mouth, Vice-Captain Ami appeared out of nowhere and shown her presence to the rest of the group. She made a wave at him and he smiled warmly at her. "Yes, I made it here, Ami-Fukutaichou." Kei said happily, seeing there is another Fourth Division member in the group. And then he turned to Tansen, "I guess that'd be us, Tansen-Taichou."
He caught of what Ami said earlier and he agreed with it deep inside. Yes, he hoped that nobody gets hurt midway and come back here alive at Sereitei. But it was his task to ensure that everyone comes back alive with the least injuries as possible.

Tansen couldn't help but feel just slightly uncomfortable as Ami's eyes gazed into his own, but didn't look away from her. His cheeks now with a hint of pink to them, the young captain of the eighth division was now fully awake and spoke up softly in reply as Ami tugged on his sleeve.
"Well I certainly hope the things you've heard about me are all good. It's nice to meet you too, I hope we work well together. Now before I begin explaining the mission plan, would those of you who don't have a gigai and mod soul yet please take one from over there?"
As he spoke, Tansen pointed to the area around the gate, which was lined with storage locker style walls containing the mod souls and gigai that they would need. After everyone had their equipment, he could finally get started on explaining the mission and they could be on their way.

Lestat followed to where his Captain was pointing and slowly he walked over to the long row of lockers, he chose the seventh locker in from the right. He took out the gigai and ask in a normal yet mentally distant voice,"Do we just step into them?" Lestat had never use a gigai before so he had no clue how to enter one. While waiting for the answer he took the mod soul and looked at the small candy looking devise , it was a wonder that they could fit an entire soul in such a small space.

Kirin moved silently from his position against a nearby wall. He had been observing the goings-on with quiet composure, choosing to observe rather than interact for the time-being. He could not always trust himself when coming down off of a catnip binge.
However, after hearing the bit about the mod-souls, and figured it would be a good idea to move and get going with the mission prep.
He took his time with the selection, toying for a moment with the possibility of choosing a female gigai. It would be rather amusing after all. Or perhaps a smaller one, just for kicks? His hand paused over a rather large one, but then his eyes strayed to the right, and he noticed something a bit.. odd. A cat.
Why a cat gigai was sitting in a pile of human ones was beyond him, but he figured it would probably be a better match than billy-the-hulk, or suzy-spindle-legs. With a quick sweep of his arm, he grabbed the gigai, along with a small container containing a mod soul. The soul would be a gamble, but with a cat form, only so much could go wrong.
((I hope the cat-gigai was okay.. I wanted to be a bit.. unique. wink ))

Kazuma let out a small yawn before doing as directed by Captain Tansen. Slowly he walked up to the lockers containing he Gigai and the Mod-Souls. But before that he stopped for a moment to address Squad 4's Vice-Captain. After all it paid to have at least minor courtesy, right? "It's nice to meet you Hateshinai - the name's Kazuma Daemon" Kazuma spoke as he passed by, greeting the woman with a two fingered salute (it's the same as your average salute only, your only keeping your index and middle fingers straight). He also avoided the use of any form of honorific but that was just Kazuma for you - not the most cultured or courteous type. Eventually making his way over to the lockers he glanced at Lestat and Kirin to see what kind of Gigai thay had selected - Kirin's being a rather odd one. Another yawn came over Kazuma forcing his eyes shut. Through out the duration of the yawn Kazuma grabbed the closest Gigai from it's locker and situated himself inside it. For some reason he felt rather weird, his chest was slightly heavy. Taking a look Kazuma's eyes widened and then his right eye started to twitch. "What the Hell?!" Kazuma yelled - with the mental note that he should never do anything while yawning. "This just isn't right... how the heck did I even fit in a female body?!" This predicament could probably serve to lighten the mood of his comrades, but for Kazuma this was just eerily distrubing.
((This was Tiruin's fault *shifty eyes* lol))

Bowing lightly to the man as he walked past she simply glared at him suspiciously taking note of the lack of respect he had for superior officers. She simply shot a curious glance at the captain before slipping out a small box from her large Medical Supply Bag. Looking down to it she looked about curiously as if searching for something. Then looked back at the captain and giggled as she began to prance away, "I just have to change real quick. I'll be right back." With that she quickly slinked away into a nearby ally. Nobody could see her behind a large neat pile of crates. She stripped completely nude, and folded each of her garments into her bag and then slipped into her nude Gigai. She found it much easier to be fully nude that way she didn't need to worry about messing up the clothing on the costume exterior.
Her body looked exactly like her, but yet it had a more defined look to it, there where no tattoos or piercing. Her hair was very long and black, and braided perfectly down along her spine. Sparkling blue eyes rare for the Japanese culture reflected her vibrant personality. Slipping into a Principle Uniform, black knee high skirt, white blouse, black heels, and a black form fitting feminine dress coat. The entire uniform hugged every curve perfectly yet held a certain class to it. Strutting out from the concealment of the crates she was just stuffing the box back away that now held her uniform. Tying the bag off just as she stepped out Ami quickly slung the bag over her shoulder. She slipped on a pair of square designer glasses and shoved a pencil through the back of her skull through her thick black hair. She had a persona that went along with this disguise and as the head supervisor of Earths Medical Unit she was to be sure to blend in and have access to any part of the city with just a click of a button. Both students and parents looked up to her which gave her enough lenience to disappear without warning to take care of hollows or to patch up a seriously injured comrade.
She spoke but her voice and her entire aura screamed a scary amount of discipline and self control, "Captain? She looked about at the other members that surrounded them and motioned for everyone to huddle up around the captain. "We're ready for the debriefing sir." her voice portraying that she already fell into character. It was simply a habit which she fell into when she put on this disguise. It was both habit and survival.

Kei made a quick bow and then proceeded at one of the lockers. He took a Gigai, which he had never done before in his entire life here in the Gotei 13, and grabbed a mod-soul. The Gigai he took looked exactly like him unlike the Shinigami Kirin's choice. He went in one and situated himself properly; it was slightly heavier moving than not in a Gigai and he felt that he have to get used to this for a moment before he can fully function.
After moving and stretching the limbs of his Gigai, he turned to the group and looked at Tansen. He saw several members of the group turn in as they picked their choice and then turning to him too. Ah, the mission will now start. He felt his insides squirm of excitement and fear at the same time.

Stepping towards the lockers himself, Tansen calmly walked down the line of containers until he found the one he was looking for, and proceeded to enter the artificial body. While it may not have been the proud uniform of a shinigami captain, Tansen's earth outfit was just as, if not more, regal in appearance. The shinigami captain was now wearing a stunning Japanese silk tuxedo with matching black dress pants. His hair was now slick and tied back into a neat ponytail and his emerald green tie matched his eyes perfectly.
After adjusting the tie so that it was more comfortable around his neck, Tansen calmly walked up to the others and cleared his throat quietly before speaking up to explain the mission details and plans. He was hoping that they'd all pay close attention to his explanation, as he didn't want to have to repeat it.
"Alright, I'll give you guys the information I have so far. Recently there has been an unusually large increase in the number of hollows going around in Karakura Town on Earth. Normally we would leave it up to the shinigami already stationed there, but the increase has become large enough that the Head Captain wants it dealt with immediately. Hence the reason we're going.
We're going to investigate the two points in Karakura where the increases have been the greatist. I'll say this now: We are NOT going there to fight. This is an intelligence gathering mission, so fighting is to be used as a last resort in the case of an emergency. Our first and utmost priority is to find the source behind the hollow increase. After that, we'll carefully assess the current situation, and then if possible, eliminate the threat.
We'll be seperated into two groups of three. The first group will be composed of Kei, Lestat, and myself. The second group will be Ami, Kirin and Kazuma. I will be leading my group, and with all due respect Vice Captain Hateshinai, I want Kazuma to lead the second. Now, I've already gotten approval from squad three's captain to use the gate, so we should be on our way. If you have any questions, or feel like backing out, speak now or forever hold your peace."

After a minute or two of staring at the female body he had chosen in the quickness of the moment - Kazuma eventually removed himself from the female Gigai in favour of picking out a male Gigai - that was all it was a simple, male Gigai body. With paramilitary camo trousers and a plain black vest under a white hooded jumper - with the sleeves being forecfully removed. "Much better" Kazuma spoke to himself with glee before Captain Tansen's words sunk into his head. "You want me to lead the second group? Today has been a really good day it appears" Kazuma had no dislike for the job and had no problems performing as such - he was sure whatever leadership skill he had was enough. If it wasn't then he'd have to slap himself in the face with his Zanpaku-tou.

Kei nodded in response in the clear instructions of Tansen. No fights will occur while we're in there; he hoped that too. However, there was no assurance that the Hollows will not attack them. What could be happening on Earth? What causes these anomaly in the increase of Hollows in Karakura? He tried his best composing himself and then faced the gate heading to Earth.
He turned to Kazuma when he heard him speak. He smiled at him. "I hope that good day stretches until we reach Earth, Kazuma-san." He said and then looked at Ami. She must've come back from Earth many times before and to her it must be simple. His looks at her were similar for a person asking for strength and support. Oh, how nervous he is indeed.

Lestat nodded, so he was with Captain Tansen and Kei from squad 4. Well this was turning out even better then he thought it could. If he freaked out over Hollows it would be in-front of his Captain. I would all work out in the end.....or at least that is what he hoped, after seeing everyone else simply step into there gigai he did the same. It was a tight fit and he preceded to do some stretches to loosen everything up. In a few minutes it was a perfect fit, it was then that he looked at his gigai it had short brown hair and bright green eyes and a good sprinkling of freckles over its face. It wasn't a bad looking body he might request to keep this gigai. He walked over to Tansen and looked him in the eyes,”It will be an honer to work with you.” He then waited for Kei to join them.

It was just that moment when he realized who he would be with in the mission. Wow! He thought. He would be in the presence of Tansen, and a captain to boot. This day was moving very unusual compared to his normal days as not only he had been able to talk to a captain but also be teamed with in a mission. He tried to shut up his excitement for he knows that this would cause an awkward scene if he blabbered about those thoughts.
He then looked at Lestat, a man he had never met before or been teamed up with in missions. He gave him a very warm smile as his first greeting. Then, he rushed towards his new teammate. "Kei Aoi, by the way, you must've heard me earlier." He said and then gave off another smile. And then he turned to Tansen and waited for him along with Lestat.

Lestat looked over at Kei, his white hair rustling with the sudden movement. He gave his normal smile. It was honest with a hint of sadness,"Lestat Sherun, I hope to work well together. This is my first mission to earth. What about yourself?" Lestat was trying to make polite conversation now Matthias couldn't complain that he was the out going one, besides Kei seem energetic in his actions so why not get to know him. Hopefully his anti-social behavior wouldn't get in the way and push another possible friendship away.

Seeing as nobody seemed to have any complaints about his plans for carrying out the mission, Tansen decided to get to work. As Lestat came up and spoke to him, Tansen nodded firmly in reply and returned his subordinates gaze as if silently saying "The same to you." before walking off towards the gate control panel and pressing a few buttons. In reply, the machine let out a whine in reply as if confirming it's new set destination. Turning to the second team, Tansen spoke up softly to send them off on their way.
"Alright, I've set up the gate to drop you off at the Karakura Town outskirts where you'll be investigating. After you've left, my team will proceed to the Matsukura Hospital ruins where we'll be conducting our own investigation. If anything happens or if you discover something, evacuate immediately and regroup with us. We'll decide what to do after that. Good luck."

Kei nodded and gave off a smile. "Yes, I mean no, this is my second time actually. The first one was something about investigating strange anomalies on Earth; I got hurt badly from the 'mission'." He said.
Suddenly, Tansen went to a control panel and pushed several buttons. After that, the machine sprang to life and opened the path to the new destination. Kei felt excited for them and once again, scared. For a moment he stood listening to Tansen's words and then he nodded in response to the instructions. So, they were heading to Matsukura Hospital. He had never been there and he felt agitated about the new area to explore.
