 "Ahem." When Hakira's attention was back on his Captain, Daven continued. "There are skills you learn from different people. Some in this squad, some in other squads. "I would teach you but I am currently teaching two other people as well, and my time is limited. Go and learn what you can from others and later we shall see about my teaching you." Daven yelled. "Kuro, get in here." He turned back to Hakira. "You are dismissed."

When the second shinigami entered and closed the door, Kuro had placed his ear on the door trying to listen to the conversation. Unfortunately for Kuro when the other shinigami the door, Kuro came stumbling into the office almost head first. Luckily Kuro was able to regain his balance before making a complete fool of himself.
As soon as Kuro regained his composure, he stood at attention for the captain. Kuro knew that he did not have to do this for the captain, but a show of discipline might be wise for his first impression to Captain Moto. Kuro took a deep breath and began his "speech"
"Hello sir. Kuro Hashimoto, unseated member of the first squad, here to request something of you, sir." Kuro announced in the most respectful tone he could muster.

Hakira nodded his head in agreement and left the office. He was just about to go to the barracks for a nap, but he couldn't contain himself. He had to know what the captains talk about. He squatted next to the door and put his ear on it.
"I hope I don't get caught..." Hakira thought to himself.

Kuro looked at Captain Moto and smiled a bit. Kuro had heard Hakira's request to be trained by Captain Moto, this was of course Kuro's first request. Now that he had heard that answer to it, Kuro had to change the question around a bit.
"Sir. I was wondering if you can recommend a mentor for me to be under in order to increase my abilities. That or if you can teach me yourself, that would be more than appreciated." he said still at attention and in the same tone of voice.

"Kuro, I'm sure you heard the response I just gave to Hikara, so I won't repeat it. The only one that I can suggest as a mentor for you is off on a mission right now. However, if you can find Yushi Moto, the Fifth Seat, you can see if she is willing to tutor you in whatever."

Tagg landed ever so gently on the space outside the Commanders office. An appendage wrapped Tagg's left foot and went up and knocked on the door. Tagg was happy now that she never needed to carry the chains around her arms and keep them bound after her training in the plains. She awaited an answer from the hope that Captain Moto was in his room.

Sho walks up to the office door and knock's ... thinking to himself, "I hope I'm not bothering Master Moto. I just want to report in and let him know that I made it here ok and find out where I can go to get a room."
Sho can hear voices inside and waits outside to be told its ok to come in.

Daven dismissed the last squad member that he had seen. He stood up and beckoned to Bullene and Tagg and on his way out, he saw Sho. "Welcome Sho to Squad 1. I'm glad you are here. Please make free with any of the training equipment you see and find a place in the common barracks. I expect to hear good things about you in the future." With that, the three Captains left. A slender figure slides into the office, rapping softly on the door frame to alert the captain of his presence. However, as he stood still, ready to give respects, he noted that the captain was nowhere to be found. "Must be quite a busy man," he lamented softly, crossing his arms and looking around, hoping to pick up a trace of spiritual energy. Shrugging, he realized that if the captain was truly near, he would likely feel much more intimidated than he did now.
The figure that was Taka Shoushin, a new recruit to the first squad of the Sereitei, pivoted slowly on one foot as he turned to the door. Sighing, he placed his palm slowly on the handle, smoothly grasping it as it began to turn. Pulling it back, he stepped out into the sunlight and put a hand to his chin. He was at a loss of what to do now. Shaking his head, he continued to stand there, hoping that inspiration would strike him. And soon.
