Vasile had debated. for almost an hour, if it would be better for him to look really nice, or kind of dumpy, when he went to have the dreaded talk with Cass. Finally he decided on some combination of the two... making sure hir fur and hair was impecably clean and brushed, but laid off any styling products whatsoever. He pulled his hair back into a ponytail and wore a pair of black slacks and a oversized shirt. No need to show off his physique... not that he had nearly as nice of one than when he first came. It seemed no matter how much he excercised his six pack and softned up on his stoamch and little pudges of fat kept appearing on his thighs and hips - which he woul dhave to excessively run off to keep them under control.

But that was neither here nor there. There were more pressed matters at hand. With a deep breath and cold drink of water to calm his nerves, Vasile trotted down to Cass's duplex and knocked lightly on the door. "Its Vasile," he said, just loud enough for her to hear.

There was a bit of a pause before the door opened. Cassidy was looking just this side of sleep, her hair a little more unruly that was usual. She yawned, and ran her fingers through her hair. "Hi. I was napping," she said unnecessarily.

The bulge of her recent meal, though a bit smaller than it had been and the skin less strained, was still very noticeable, despite anything she might try to do. There was, she had decided, nothing to do but wait for it to go away, and wonder about just what it had been. Hopefully nothing she should have been eating. Like someone's pet, for example.

"C'mon in."

"Oh, I'm sorry I woke y-" Vasile's apology was cut off suddenly as his eyes settled on her stomach. "Oh my gawd please tell me that's not mine!" Vasile shook his head and seemed to realize how rude that exclaimation probably seemed, or that the timing didn't really click right - but for someone as playboy as Vasile used to be, this was like a scene out of his worst nightmares.

Cass stared at him a moment, and down at her swollen abdomen. "What? Oh! Oh!" She let a small laugh, mostly at herself; she hadn't even thought of that possibility, not seriously. "No, no, it's nothing like that. I'm pretty sure that I just ate something. I think. I don't actually... remember." She waved a hand vaguely. "It's going away, anyway, not getting bigger, so it's... um. Probably not anything like that?"

"Oh.. ohkay...wow, I'm sorry, Cass, that was really rude of me..." He stepped him, giving her arm and warm touch with his paw-like hands.

"You..don't remember eating anything? THAT big?" Vasile looked a bit surprised. "Thats..strange."

"I lost about two days, Vasile." She shook her head, but touched his hand, thankful for the gesture. "I have no idea what I did during that time, and I woke up... well. Up a tree. Again." Cass snorted slightly. "Which makes me a bit worried about this whole thing about Aubrey. I mean. I have to assume I was all snake that whole time, because I was doing something, but I don't know what the snake would do."

With a faint, rueful smile, Cass tore her gaze away from the spot in the floor she'd been staring at. "But I don't suppose I can really obsess over it. Just hope I didn't eat anything I don't want to know about. But how're you doing? Okay, right?" Her expression brightened a little.

Vasile narrowed his eyes. "I can't imagine you hurting anybody, Cass. I just assumed it was Jamal..since, well, he doesn't really make it a secret or anything."

He said down gently on the bed, playing with his tail again as it curled into a lap, a figit he had recently developed when he was nervous about something. "Well, uhm, I've been...uh.." he stalled for a minute. "Oh! I have Brutus back!...kind of, at least."

"I hope you're right about that," Cassidy said with a shrug. "I'm not sure whatever-it-is," she pointed downwards, "would agree with you, but the sentiment is appreciated. You have no idea."

Well, it was certainly a relief to hear that she hadn't eaten Brutus, at least. That had been one possibility on her mind. "That's wonderful! But what do you mean, kind of?" Cass settled herself down on the bed next to him, her tongue flickering curiously. "How can you kind of have him back? Isn't he okay?"

"Well apparantly Dr. Duvert found him in the lockout...and experimented with him." He frowned, but shrugged. "He has, well... three heads." He chuckled a bit to himself. "Seriously. I mean, he's fine. But its almost like I got two new dogs with the package."

"Three heads?" Cass repeated, astonished. "They can do that? But... how.... ?! That's... crazy. Wow. But it's good he's in one piece, so to speak." She shook her head in disbelief, trying to figure out how on Earth such a thing was even possible. "Maybe it was a good thing I decided to leave my cat with my parents. These people are nuts."

"Yeah... yeah they are." Vasile was happy to have his little friends back and healthy, but as much as he wanted to talk bout Brutus right now, he had other things he needed to bring up before he talked himself out of it.

"Speaking of changes...." Vasile kept combing hsi clwas through his furry tail, not looking Cass directly in the eyes, "I have to talk to you about something kind of important. And I don't think you'll like it."

Cassidy just looked at him, a sinking feeling in the pit of her stomach growing steadily. Her tongue flicked in and out. She could think of several things this could be, off the top of her head, and none of them were any good. "Oh?" she said.

"yeah...." Vasile tried to give her an ecouraging smile, but it kind of fell flat. "Well...since I've come here, I've changed. More than just physically. I...think about things more...and I'm more in touch with myself and what I 'm feeling. I know that sounds ... I don't know, hippie or something but its true. And at first I thought it was because I was given a bit reality check or something, and maybe that's still the case. Or maybe the serums are changing how I think. I don't know. But I've been thinking, things, recently, that I just can't ignore, anymore..." Vasile tooked at her with pleading eyes, judging her expression so far.

This was going a slightly different direction than what she had expected, unless he was just being nice about it. Cassidy tilted her head, still watching him carefully. There was a slight twitch in the muscles of her face, around her eyes, something that might have been a squint had she eyelids anymore. "What do you mean?"

Underneath the cover of her plumage, her fingers tugged fiercely and nervously at her feathers.

"Well, uhm... I'm sure you've noticed that we haven't... you know... " Vasile gesticulated with his paws, "done anything... recently.." Vasile blushed and frowned. "And I don't want you thinking its because of... your changes! Because its not! Really - its not! I mean, I thought that at first... I really did and I was torn up about it, but I .. I really don't think thats why..."

Cass's fingers stopped tugging. "I'd been wondering about that," she said. She wouldn't have blamed him at all if it had been because of her. Things down in that general area were not the way they had been, and while it probably would have made sense to another snake, she was still rather mystified by the whole deal. "Look, if it is because of me, you can say so. You can. Really. I won't--" Her voice cracked a little; she paused to clear her throat, irriated at herself. "Just say so, if that's it."

"Thats NOT it though, Cass... I, uh..." He winced and screwed his eyes shut. "IthinkI'mgay," he sputtered out.

Cass's mouth opened slightly. She raised a hand, lowered it again, and shut her mouth. Of all the things she had expected to hear, that was not one of them, not nearly. "What do you mean, gay?!"

Vasile's ears dropped suddenly and drastically against the back of his head and the poor guy actually have a canine-like whimper. "You know... like... liking guys..." His face was so red, the white on his face had a pink tint to it.

"I know what it means," Cassidy said, a touch of exasperation to her voice. She pressed her hand to her face for a moment, and drew a deep breath. "How can you be gay? After everything... my god. My god, Vasile. What the hell."

She had been staring off into space, but she focused on him again with a shake of her head. "You seriously are only figuring this out now?!"

Vasile had a sudden desire to bolt. Just to run away and run into the jungle and bury himself under a rock and not come out for a while. But he knew that wouldn't solve anything.

"I'm sorry!!!" he pleaded. "Really.. trust me...do you think this was easy for me to admit to myself??

"I mean.. me of all people!? I got sent to this damn rock because of my... taste for women! Really! But... I mean.. ever since my last change... everytime I see... Ambrose.. or Jamal... I .. I... " he looeked away, ebarassed. "I just KNOW, okay!"

Since his last change? Some distant part of Cass's brain grabbed upon that, and clung. Dr. Moreau turned my boyfriend gay. Oh, but that was stupid. Even if that could possibly be true, she could hardly blame him for that. She sighed heavily, her face buried in her hands for a moment, before looking at him again. "I don't... I don't doubt that you know. But what am I supposed to say here? How the hell do I react to this? Dammit, Vasile."

Vasile whimpered. "I don't know. I mean... I was so frightened that.. that it was because of how you looked. I didn't want to be that shallow. I really really didn't want to be. I was almost.. kind of releived when this came to light. I know, that probably sounds horrible..."

Vasile ran a nervous hand through his hair. "I know I'm probably really hurting you, Cass. But you.. I... I had to tell you. And I still really care for you. I don't want to hurt you, I really don't..."

"It's a little late to worry about not hurting me," Cass said, her voice quiet. "Jesus Christ. I guess I'm relieved that it's not because I'm horrid and scaly, but because I'm a chick, which is fair enough, but..." She flailed a minute, gesturing wildly. She had all these sentences and no way to end them. "You certainly had me convinced. Gay."

She may be a small-town girl, but she was certainly no redneck. With an effort, Cass smiled, very slightly. "Fine. You told me. I'm glad you told me because it would have been very awkward if this had all come out..." Bad choice of words. She couldn't think of any better. "... Later. But right now, Vasile?" Her voice cracked. She stared down at the floor again; that seemed safest. Her hands were tightly clenched.

"Cass, please...its not like I could help it. Trust me.. I wish I wasn't! But it would be stupid for me to try and hide it. It wouldn't be fair - to you or me."

He stood up quickly, pacing a bit and waving his tail behind him like an annoyed cat. "I swear this has all happened... relatively recently. When we first got together - I promise you I wasn't! I mean...damn..." He looked to her. "Really. It was great. Its just been since.. si nce... " he motioned to his body. "Since all this bullshit. I don't know.. how or why.. but I swear this is all pretty recent, Cass!"

"How can you be--" Cass cut herself off. Now was not the time for hasty words, however tempting they were. "Know what? Never mind all that. You're gay. Fine. This is possibly the most... unique excuse I've heard from a guy who didn't want to date me anymore, but.... it's not in your control, it's..." She sounded more like she was trying to convince herself. "It's... just..."

"Its not an excuse!!" he pleaded. "Look, trust me. I wouldn't have told you if I wasn't completely sure! This is a hard time for me, too, you know! My ... whole identity is changing. And not just physically! Okay, if I could be ugly and still be straight I would be, just for you! I didn't want to do this to you!" He suddenly found himself on the verge of tears. "I hate myself for having to do this..."

"It's not your fault," Cass said. "I'm just... I'm not really sure what the hell I'm supposed to do, now. Or say. Or anything. Christ." She took a deep, shaky breath, trying to release some anger. It didn't exactly work. "********." That was a word she didn't use much, but now was a time for it, if any. "The sentiment is appreciated, but... don't hate yourself. Not healthy." Another deep breath. "Really... I think I need to be alone, right now, Vasile. I don't want to say anything I'll regret."

Vasile swatted at his eyes, the tears started to come. "I'm sorry, Cass. I really am. But I couldn't go on lying to you." He sighed and headed towards the door. "I hope we can still be friends. You don't mean any less to me." He gave her the most fornlorn puppy-dog expression he could muster, then headed out.

"Yeah. Friends. Sure." Cass watched him go, the tip of her tail twitching slightly. Her first really serious relationship, and... this. Well, fine. She would be all right. She was an independant sort. She'd managed for long enough with a man in her life.

It really wasn't fair.

The Workout Room
Vasile Meets Avery
PostPosted: Sat May 13, 2006 8:32 am

Timothy Matthews
The next few hours were almost a blur for Timothy as he and Avery continued their romp. Timothy had completely lost track of time, and he mused that Avery probably had too as the two young men pleasured each other. Timothy questioned quietly why he'd ever almost considered giving this up. Of course it was easier for him to do so while he was with Avery.

Timothy was... blissful to say the least, tired, but blissful.

Avery Calder
Indeed, Avery was far too involved with... other things... to pay attention to what time it might be. Apparently, Timothy was good at being very distracting - but Avery didn't mind in the least. He stretched out next to the skunk boy, sliding his arm around Timothy's waist and snuggling up close to him, enjoying the feel of Tim's fur on his skin. He was so nice to cuddle.

But the cuddling was cut short when he heard a knock on the door. With a sigh, Avery reluctantly pushed himself up out of bed. "Coming," he called out, walking across the room to the door and - without thinking about bothering to put clothes on - he opened it.

Vasile DiRossi
Vasile was standing there, trying not to look too annoyed. He flipped his hair over his shoulder as the door opened. Forcing a smile, "Hey how about Sex on the - " he was cut short as he noticed, very quickly, state of undress.

He gawked for a moment, then recovered. "I'm sorry...ah, bad time?" He peeked up on his toes, trying to look over his shoulder. Kind of. He got distracted and just stared at Avery instead.

Timothy Matthews
Timothy heard a rather familiar voice, a familiar voice that made him stay well under the covers. He couldn't believe Avery had opened the door like that. Avery obviously wasn't thinking strait. Timothy snickered internally at the pun.

Was that Vasile? What was he doing here? Did he come looking for me? Timothy mulled over these thoughts.

Timothy was scared, but his currently sexed up mind also thought of other possible scenarios, playing in his head like a bad porno whether or not he wanted them to.

Avery Calder
Bad time? Avery had to think for a moment to understand what the fox man was talking about. Bad time for what? He then felt a breeze on his naked skin, and his eyes widened a bit. "Oh! I - sorry!" Avery said, quickly grabbing his discarded boxer shorts from the floor and pulling them on.

"Vasile... I'm sorry, I... it slipped my mind. I kind of got... distracted." Avery bit his lip and glanced back at the bed, unsure if he should invite Vasile inside. He didn't want to make Tim uncomfortable. Avery looked at vasile again. "Er, could you give us just a moment to get decent?"

Vasile DiRossi
Vasile waggled his eyebrows. "Sorry for interrupting." He didn't know he felt so dissapointed - not like he was out to seduce Avery. Well, not outright, at least. If something just... happened...

Oh posh, he shouldn't be thinking that. Regardless, he would put himself in the best light by being a gentleman. "Of course." Vasile stepped back, allowing Avery to shut the door.

Timothy Matthews
"Ummm... who was that Avery?" Timothy said innocently enough. He defintly didn't want to arouse any suspisions.

s**t... s**t... s**t... he didn't want to be exposed like this.

It might have been smart to fess up at this point and be honest. I mean, if he'd thought about it he probably could have told Avery and convinced him to forgive him. It was only once.

No one ever said that Timothy was smart.

Timothy beckoned suggestivly at Avery, maybe he could convince Avery to send Vasile on his way.

Avery Calder
"Thanks, we'll be just a moment," Avery said to Vasile before closing the door. He turned back to Timothy then, going around and picking up their clothing. "It's Vasile - I met him earlier today, and we had plans to hang out at the beach bar tonight... he said that he knew you too. I was gonna invite you, but I kind of got distracted by other things," Avery chuckled, finding the situation amusing.

Avery leaned down and kissed Timothy before handing him his clothes. He would have loved to just get back into bed with him and continue their activities, but he didn't want to be rude. He felt bad enough to forgetting to meet up with Vasile. "Here... get dressed, okay? Don't want to keep him waiting outside too long," he smiled, and pulled the rest of his clothes back on. Only once Timothy was dressed did Avery start to reach for the door.

Timothy Matthews
"Wait wait wait!" Timothy rushed forward. He rushed in front of Avery before he could open the door. Timothy scritched Avery's stomach and then slid his hand down Avery's recently clad pants. "I know you made plans... but couldn't you..." he gave it a grope and a bit of a rub. "...reschedule." Timothy said in his most sultry voice.

Avery Calder
Avery was surprised at Timothy suddenly rushing in front of him - and even more surprised when he slid a hand down his pants. He gasped, and he had to place his hands against the door on either side of Timothy's head to support himself - Timothy had a way of making Avery weak in the knees.

"Tim," he groaned, wanting to give in... he had a brief thought about doing just that, right against the door with Vasile waiting just on the other side. Would he stay and listen to them, or would he leave..?

"I was already late, though, I... don't want to be rude..." but he leaned in close and kissed Timothy. He was very persuasive... he pulled back from the kiss. "He's probably frustrated already, waiting outside..."

Timothy Matthews
"But... I wanted this to be our night... after all, this is the night you told me you loved me." Timothy rubbed a bit more. "Maybe appologize, meet up later..." he grinned and licked Avery's neck. "...and I can prop you against this door and take you here."

Timothy smiled wickedly, doing his best to convince Avery to send Vasile on his way. He'd... talk to Vasile... but he didn't want to ruin things with Avery now. He also didn't want to fess up. Timothy was such a coward.

Avery Calder
How could Avery turn down an offer like that? The truth was, Avery couldn't. He almost wanted to just let Vasile keep waiting without telling him they'd reschedule. "You make a very good argument," he smiled at the skunk man. "At least let me let him know first so he doesn't have to keep standing out there, and then... I like the against the door idea. I was having a similar thought myself..."

Timothy Matthews
"Okay," Timothy pressed his body to Avery's. Timothy blew softly in Avery's ear. "I'll go wash up a bit in the restroom... you let him know." He rubbed Avery more forcefully for a few moments.

Timothy enjoy teasing him, he was hoping that Avery wouldn't loose his interest. In fact he was hoping that he might even keep his interest perked while he tried to talk to Vasile. That thought made him happy for some reason.

Timothy skipped off to the restroom, he'd wait there until Avery was done getting rid of Vasile. Then... tomorrow Timothy would figure out how to sort all this out.

Avery Calder
Avery swallowed and closed his eyes, taking a few slow, deep breaths. He wanted to at least calm down a little before he opened the door again... he finally opened his eyes again, and opened the door. "Hey Vasile, sorry about that... um... d'you think it would be alright if we rescheduled for another night? Something's - er - come up." Literally.

Vasile DiRossi
Vasile's ears and tail dropped in dissapointment as he lifted a questioning brow and tried to peek in once again. "Oh. I see."

"I guess, yeah thats fine, Avery." Vasile let himself pout. He was cute when we pouted. "I'm in 14. Just. If ever you want to hang out. See you 'round."

With that a sigh, he turned to go.

Avery Calder
"Will do, Vasile. I promise I'll come visit soon," Avery said, feeling even more guilty from the fox man's reaction and making a mental note to himself to remember Vasile's duplex number. He shut the door then, locking it - but he didn't move away. Avery stripped out of his clothes again. "Okay, lover boy, you can come out... Vasile left - we're all alone now," he all but purred, leaning back against the door to wait for him.

Avery and Timothy were preoccupied for a while yet again - although perhaps not on their bed.

Afterwards they stumbled back over to the bed, collapsing onto the soft mattress together. Avery was worn out by then, and he was just starting to doze off with a quiet murmur of; "I love you."

Timothy Matthews
Afterwards Timothy lay in bed with Avery, he was exausted, they'd done just about everything imaginable in different places all over the duplex. He'd never experienced a night like this before. He turned over and looked at Avery. "Hey... can I ask you something?"

Avery Calder
"Mmm? Of course, you can ask me anything," Avery murmured sleepily, nuzzling Timothy's shoulder affectionately. He absently stroked his fingers over the fur on Timothy's stomach.

Timothy Matthews
"What was with that... ummm... guy you were talking to today?" He smiled at Avery, dirty thoughts had already started to play over in his mind. "New friend?" Maybe Timothy could turn this in his favor, maybe.

Avery Calder
"Vasile - haven't you met him before?" Avery asked, yawning a little. "Mmhmm... he's a new friend. Just met him today in the workout room... he's a nice guy, having a tough time right now though... feel bad for ditching 'em..." Avery's words were just a little mumbled as he tried to stay awake. "I'm gonna try to hang out with him soon, he looked disappointed when he left."

Timothy Matthews
"He's hot." Timothy said, attempting to be casual. "Not as hot as you of course, but not bad." He did want to stroke his boyfriend's ego, after all he'd stroked everything else tonight.

Avery Calder
Avery chuckled. "Yeah, you're right, he is pretty hot... but I think you're much sexier," he said, placing a small kiss on Timothy's neck. "He seems to have just realized that he's gay, yanno."

Timothy Matthews
"You don't say?" Of course Timothy knew that. Still, he didn't want to be too obvious. He wondered if perhaps... just perhaps.

"I know how lonely that can be, I mean until I met you I didn't know anyone other guys on the island who... liked guys." he shrugged and snuggled. "I wish we could help."

Timothy... your going to burn in hell. He thought.

Avery Calder
"Yup... doesn't seem too shy for a guy just coming out of the closet, though. He said he's already tried things with another guy, too..." Avery shrugged. "I suck at giving people advice... plus, I've never stopped liking girls too, so... I haven't exactly gone though the same thing, I guess. I'm sure we just just help him by being around if he needs us," he yawned.

Timothy Matthews
"Oh... I just thought. I mean, you've taught me a lot." he pulled himself close to Avery. "I guess it's a silly idea..." oh but what a fun one it was in his mind. How was he supposed to deal with all these conflicting thoughts, he was just a horny young teenager.

Young adult... he corrected himself mentally. He was 18 after all.

Avery Calder
"Oh... you mean help, like that?" Avery lifted his head to look at the other boy. "... I think Vasile had the same kind of thoughts. He wanted me to invite you along... and he was flirting with me a lot... you'd be up for that?" he asked.

Timothy Matthews
"Yeah... I mean to help him out and all. Not like it'd change the way we feel about each other. It does seem like it'd be fun, maybe you've just made me more... experimentive." he shrugged.

"I'd wanna talk to him about it though... personally, no hurt feelings or emotional strings attached... you know?" If he could talk Vasile into talking to him first... maybe he could make sure he didn't tell Avery anything.

Avery Calder
"Trying new things is fun... I like to experiment. I've never been in a threesome before, though... sounds hot - especially with both you and Vasile involved," Avery grinned at him. "But, yeah - talking to him first would be best. Just so he knows it's just for, well, fun and all that. You wanna talk to him about it, then?"

Timothy Matthews
"Sure... I'll take care of it." he smiled. Okay... maybe he could make this work. He snuggled with Avery. "I'll talk to him tomorrow alright?" Timothy realized, he'd been so busy realizing his dream, that he hadn't really been investigating the whole Aubrey thing at all.

Avery Calder
"Sounds like a plan, then," Avery said, kissing Timothy. "Let me know how that goes. For now, let's get some sleep, yeah? You really wore me out tonight," he grinned at the other boy. "Not that I'm complaining of course..." Finding out what happened to Aubrey was the last thing on Avery's mind.

Timothy Matthews
Timothy's dreams were rather naughty that night, but he slept well.

From the Workout Room

That's it. No more Sex on the Beach. No more Coronas. No more dessert. Vasile didn't get it. He always had to work out to keep his figure but this was insane. Between the fur and the little layer of pudge that seemed to come out of know where, Vasile's six-pack was rapidly losing speed.

He was on the mat in the workout room, doing another set of sit ups. Stupid fur, it made this so uncomfortable. And clothes...clothes and fur didn't mesh. Especially when sweating.

Billy was sick of being reliant on his crutches. He could walk a few steps befor his legs seemed to give out. Of course he wasn't aware of his shrinking bones and therefor the lessened surface area for muscle to connect, his leg-flesh starting to resemble more of a tentacle's muscles wrapped around a stick of a bone. Just more excersize, he tried to reason. He had heard there was a room dedicated towards it, although he had never been there himself, and had figured it would be a much better way to work off his frustrated agression than picking a fight with another guard.

He sniffed anxiously as he leaned on the door, easing in. At least his previous snort would give him the oomph he needed to get going. Once he hobbled through the entrance into the main machine-room, he froze at the sight of... someone already there.

Vasile was counting quietly to himself during his sit-ups, but on one 'up' he caught a glimpse of Billy entering the room. A mix of surprise - he hadn't heard someone else come in, and the shock of seeing a very ... purple person with tentacles caught the man off gaurd. "WHoa--ah ~" came out as a startled yell as he flailed his arms and fell back to the mat uncontrolled.

He spun around quickly, embarassed, and sat up on his knees. "Sorry!" He said, giving the man a odd look. "You startled me."

Vasile tried not to gawk, but it was hard not to. Wait...was he naked?

"I generally go' tha' effect on people," Billy grunted, glancing the fox-man over. Was that a.... girl or a boy? The fur made it difficult to tell. His tentacles resituated as he crutched over to a machine to sit, "Don' le' me interupt."

Vasile smoothed out his tail fur. Amazing how quickly his tail had become nothing but an oversized figit toy for himself. "Ah, well, I need a break anyway." Vasile stood up and grabbed a bottle of water from a mini fridge they kept stocked in the room. Wiping his brow and hands on a towel, he reached for a shake. "Vasile DiRossi," he inttroduced. "I don't... believe we've met." Vasile always felt so awkward. One day he was going to introduce himself to someone he knew right after they changed or something.

Billy leaned back, regarding the feminan looking creature curiously. "I'd be inclined t'say no," He shifted, lifting an arm to wrap his tapered, tentacle-like hand around the fox-man's, "Bu' I admit th'name's familiar."

Vasile tossed his hair and flashed a grin. He couldn't help it, it still loved to stroke his ego. "I was an actor. You know..up and coming star who died before his time? From what I've heard I'm the next River Phoenix." Vasile gave a small eyeroll. "But my brother sure wasted no time filling my shoes."

He looked down at his slightly sticky hand and wiped it awkwardly on the towel. "Sorry - things have been hitting me pretty hard recently. But I think I'd be preaching to the choir..." he frowned and looked over at the tentacled naked man with a sympathetic look.

Slowly, the name and what knowlage Billy had in association to it came back to him. He remembere d aprticularly grueling afternoon he had the unfortunate pleasure of sitting through. The ladies had all been sitting around, doing their girl things when the subject of a young American hottie who had unfortunatly met his demise too soon, and the tragedy that ensued. DiRossi... "Oh, shite, were y'in tha' one stupid flick wit' them kids who were all bein' killed... ach... AYE! Ye were th'one tha' was decapitated by tha' flyin' piece o' metal! Righ'!! Wit' th'special effects an' ye were still alive, bu' yer head all hangin' askew untill they had t'put y'down wit' a shovel! Righ'? Am I righ?" The octopus man's violet eyes lit up, tentacles wrything to resituate on the machine.

Vasile's ears flicked back. "Yeah... that was me. You know, you take any job you can when you're breaking into the business..." He scratched his arm and his eyes kept looking over the purple skinned man.

"This probably sounds rude but I can't help but noticed... you're, uhm... naked? That doesn't, uhm, bother you?"

Billy stopped, his enthused grin flickering as he settled his feet on the pedels of the machine, making sure to keep his lower tentacles low to hide anything embarassing with his webbing, "Hard t'wear trousers when yer legs are webbed," He indicated what he meant by lifting an upper tentacle to show off the webbing between that and his arm. "An' you don' look anyt'in' li' in yer movies, I can tell y'tha'."

Vasile nodded. "I guess that makes sense. I don't wear shoes anymore becuase my feet are shaped differently."

He looked down at himself and ran his hand through his hair. "Well not anymore thats for sure. Covered in fur... my hair turned white..." He swallowed and left out the...other things.

"I guess I don't have much room to complain, though. I mean, uh... octopus or something? That... can't be good." Vasile frowned and hoped that didn't come off too insulting... he was trying to be sympathetic. "A friend of mine is turning into a snake..thing. Its been really hard for her..."

He sat down on a weight machine, enjoying having a conversation.

Billy shifted, giving a grimace as he tried to figure the machine out, "Aye. I can't say I'm ethused 'bou' it, t'say th'least." His face was red, spreading down to his shoulders as the color-change membanes in his octopus skin seemed to react. "Especially th'part where I go' no hands an' cinnae' bearly walk. An' th'ink vomiting 'aint tha' pleasant either. How's yer's?"

Vasile paled under his fur. "Vomitting....ink?"

He shuddered.

"Aye, the worst part of my transformation aren't the physical," he admitted. "I think Moreau's screwing with like... my brain and stuff. Though I can't imagine why he would. It has nothing to do with animal crap."

"Aye, I'm familiar wit' th'brain feckin'," Billy growled, his odd, pinched teeth poking out as he strained to try to lift the bar of the machine with his legs, but only ended up even more red-faced and out of breath. "This whole experience is jes' one big mind-feck."

"Yeah well...." Vasile frowned. "you can say that again." He started to adjust the weight machine. "But have you really changed like...who you are? What you believe? Like? Find attractive?" He sighed, his tail waving back and forth. "I feel like I'm not only changing on the outside, but on the inside, too. Its like.. its like I Have nothing to hang onto."

"I found meself fantisizin' abou' tentacles, if tha's wha' y'mean," Billy grunted, giving up, "Do y't'ink y'coul' give me a hand? I'm bloody tired o' bein' a damn cripple, bu' I aint fixin' me legs this way, am I? Guess I gotta start off smaller."

Vasile nodded and headed over. "Sure, buddy...." Vasile set to fixing his weights to something smaller. "Tentacles, huh? Thats kind if interesting..." Vasile's ears twitched and his ears were pink and hot. "My, uh, tastes have changed as well. Though pretty drastically."

"I don' know if it can be counted as beastiality anymore, though," Billy chuckled bitterly, shaking his head as he resituated once again, oblivious to Vasille's real concern.

Vasile blinked. "eh? OH oh... uh, well, I mean... we're still people, right? I mean.. I think Am--- some doglike folks are pretty hot, but I don't think my wee dog is hot." Vasile visably shuddered. "There's a difference... isn't there?"

"Fer now, I s'pose. But has anyone... y'know... *stopped* changin' yet? Where does it end?"

"I unno.... Ambrose says that Aubrey says that we're SUSPOSED to have our human minds in the end. At least thats what they theorize." He fiddled more with the machine. "You know, she says that we' should be able to think and have thumbs and all that. But some people are getting pretty bad. THis one guy AMbrose met is turning into a wolf or something and he can barely walk upright anymore."

"Aye, y'mean Pyroth," Billy grunted, "Thumbs me slimy blue arse. I t'ink I'd be a lot more pleasent abou' this whole business if I coul' ha' a'least kept me hands! Now how does this damn bloody t'ing work anyways?" He growled as once again he tried to lift the weights, but his legs were weak and useless.

"Here, I'll spot you..." Vasile gently gided his legs onto the plate. "Now try to push out, if you can." He kept his hands on him, where his knees would be. "Gently, slowly...."

Vasile looked back over the man. "Can you at least... manipulate and stuff? You know my friend Cass lost her legs completely. For a while, she had to use a wheelchair. We went and talked to Aubrey and Aubrey said that she would eventually loose them completely and she'd have to learnt o slither... and she was right. She doesn't have to use the wheelchaor or prostetics anymore. But its still rather disconcerting.."

Vasile frowned. "But she lost her nipples... guess snakes don't have nippes. But she gets around well..and has her hands and all..." Vasile seemed to realize he was rambling and went back to focusing on helping Billy push the weights.

"Aye, I kin' move 'em jes' fine," Billy grunted, tentacles wriggling about between his legs and Vasille's arms at the strain of them. Finally, they settled to push combined with his legs, and he was able to at least get a bit of movement from the machine, "They're jes' bloody weak as hell! I kinnae' stand fer more'n a moment wit'ou' somethin' t'lean on. An' I'd thank ye no' t'bring up tha' woman anymore, alrigh'?" He snapped the end, clearly frustrated about more than his physical handicaps.

Vasile blinked. "Eh? Woman? Cass?" He suddenly puffed his chest and looked defensive. "Why the hell not? What's your beef with my Cassi!"

"I mean tha' bloody Aubrey, y'a**!"

Vasile's ears perked from their position - flat on his head. "Oh."

He shifted. "Why? You have a problem with---- oh.. OH. OH MY GOD SHE TOOK YOUR BALL!" Almost in a twisted mirror of Billy's enthusiam about his death scene, Vasile looked excited and pointed, his eyes going wide. "That was you!"

At that, Billy's face paled untill it was such a light blue, it was nearly white, gradating down his neck towards his chest and limbs to resume their natural darkerlavender-blueish color. He flinched, scrambling to leap away from the man and off of the machine, but his many limbs either got caught in their flailing, or couldn't support him, sending him crashing to the floor on the opposite side. Once recovered, he gave a nervious sniff, his eyes wide and bizaar teeth beared, "HOW DO Y'KNOW ABOO' THA'??" A line of black was dribbling down from the corner of his mouth to be soaked up in his goatee.

Vasile's eyes widened and he backed away, a bit startled by Billy's reaction. "I'm sorry!!" he stammered, putting up his hands in a placating manor. "That came off.... really bad...."

His ears dropped and he looked really sheepish. "It came up in a truth or dare game methinks... a bit back..."

Then it hit him, and he tried to look, one ear perking up. "So...its true?"

As Billy grabbed a crutch that had fallen nearby and tried to heft himself up, a tightly-tied plastic bag of something white dropped from the folds of his tentacles to land beside the machine. His eyes remained locked on the fox-man as his various limbs curled and uncurled slowly, "Who told?"

Vasile's eyebrows arched dramatically at the bag, having been in Hollywood long enough to have a good idea what that was. "Huh?" He was distracted for a second, then dragged his eyes back up. "Antony did."

Billy's eyes flickered when Vasille's did, and the red suddenly spread again as a tentacle snatched it up and shoved it away under his front webbing again safe and sound. He paused when he heard the familiar name, "Antony?? How many did she tell??"

"I don't know if I want to tell you. I think I just got myself in enough trouble.."

"Tha' God-damned feckin' b***h!" He snarled, leaning on one crutch to grab the other befor he paced away towards the other side of the room and back, as though needing to clear his head. Great. Excellent. Like he needed more public humiliation.

"Hey man! Calm down..." He put a hand on his shoulder. "Really...its no big deal. I was rude... but...but yeah. No big deal. I knew a guy once.. only had one since birth.. he was fine. And ...and...uh.." Vasile looked around the room quiickly. "Ambrose! Ambrose has a sheath! Ya know...like a dog..."

Vasile felt bad and didn't want to cause a fight. "Really, don't be so self-conscious. I wouldn't be turned off by a guy that only had one.. as long as it all still worked.."

Wow, he was digging himself in deep.

"I was feckin' FRAMED, y'hear me? I aint a feckin' CHILD molester!" Billy snapped back, his inhuman eyes wavering at the silver-furred ex-celebrity.

"Huh? Wha? Oh..nononono.. its cool. I believe you! Really!" Vasile tried to gently pull him back in te room. "I'm not judging you here..."

Billy continued to grumble under his breath, wiping at the ink on his chin uselessly with a tentacle, "D'y'go' a bloody towel?"

Vasile had a rolled towel around his shoulders that he quickly pulled off and offered to the man. "Why don't you sit down?"

"Sittin's all I'm feckin' good fer these days," He grunted, blotting at the ink in his beard, leaving the towel fairly polka dotta. "An' water. Bring me some water. I'm feirce parched."

Vasile fetched him a bottle of water and took a seat next to him. "Don't say that," he said sympathetically. "I'm sure eventually you won't needs these anymore.." Vasile said, patitng the crutches. "And we're all in this together now."

Billy undid the top with his tentacles easily enough, taking a long swig befor he turned the rest of the bottle down his back and shoulders, "No, I'll need a bloody wheelchair like yer friend. I'll turn into a ball o' boneless tentacles. I don' even KNOW wha' th'hell's wrong wit' me teeth. S'all easy fer ye- y'still go' two arms an' legs an' hair. An' e'en tha's fallin' ou'!" He pushed his hair back to flash his receiding hairline and lack of ears. He hadn't liked to think of those changes, scaring him the worst of all. His face would change. His head would change. What else would change? How would it change? Oh yeah, they were all in this together. After the way things had gone so far, though, Billy couldn't help but feel exceptionally alone.

Vasile couldn't help but feel sorry for theman, having been in a similar situation with Cass. "Yeah, I'm pretty lucky on that front..." Vasile said, frowning. "But if it makes you feel any better, Moreau's .... doing something else to me. When I came here, I was the biggest playboy in LA. NOw... well, uhm..." he scratched his arm self consciously. "I'm gay" He winced and looked away. "Its embarassing, and I KNOW I wasn't just in denial or s**t like that. Its happened since my last change."

At that, Billy's brows furrowed and he turned to frown at the other man, visibly scooting away a little, "Ye wha'?"

Vasile's ears dropped pathetically. "You heard me. Moreau's turned me gay. WOmen... do nothing for me anymore." He sighed. "See? So yeah I look better on the outside, but everything's all turned around up here!" Vasile pointed to his head.

Billy's brows raised and furrowed, his skin shifting shades befor resettling, "He can... do tha'? Jes'... make y't'ink yer gay? Was it hypnotism?"

"I have... no idea," Vasile sighed. "Just... I started noticing...things... and then... I finally. Ugh. I broke up with my girl and everything. I have a ... terrible crush on a someone I know I can never have. My whole... view on...EVERYTHING is changing. I dont even have my self-identity to cling to."

"s**t, lad," The octopus man shook his head, "Is it jes' in yer head? Or... y'know... li'... other places too?"

"Do you mean... do I ...react to men?" His ears turned pink but there was no point not being honest. "Yeah... I finally had to know and well...tried it."

Billy's face actually went physically green, an odd greyish green, but green non-the-less, which spread down to his chest and shoulders, "I din' mean-!"

Vasile got a kind of perturbed look on his face, his tail twitched. "Sorry to disgust you so."

Vasile stood up. "Sorry I shouldn't have said anything. Just trying to make you feel better."

"Ah... ach, damn I din' mean i' li' tha'!" Now Billy was flustered, frowning as he took another swig of water.

"no, its okay.." he said, waving his hands smally. "I shouldn't haven't dumped on you - we just met. I just.." he tossed his hands up. "I don't know quite how to handle it yet. My brain beeds crutches."

He paced slowly, just burning off nervous energy. "But yeah, we're all so royally ******** here, eh? I mean, they're doing more than just..just the animal thing. Me ... me wit the, ya know...and you with the..." he motioned. "Removal.. of things..."

Billy grunted in agreement, unsticking his cigarettes from where the suckers on the backs of his legs could cling to his pack's plastic coating and pulled one free, striking a match without even so much as a glance around for a no-smoking sign. "So wha' are we all gonna' do abou' it, then?"

Vasile blinked, wondering just where the hell he pulled those from and backed away a few steps with a curl of his nose. He hated cigrarettes.

"Do about it? Well, s**t. I don't know. Did you hear about what happened to Aubrey?" Vasile held up his hands again. "Personally my opinion on her more echoes Ambrose's... she's the closest thing to a decent person we have on that side of the fence. But I know other islander's that are willing to...." he lowered his voice, "ya know..'do something' about it." His eyes darted around fertively. "Do you know a bloke named Jamal?"

"Aye, he tried t'eat me once," Billy replied with a stern look.

Vasile snorted. "Yeah, well... he's very, uh, driven. Anyway, he's taken a bite outta Aubrey before. And I KNOW he wants to do it again. Er, if it wasn't him to hurt her already. But anyway, my point, maybe you should talk to him abuot ... something a bit more organized than random attacks?"

As soon as the words left the fox-man's lips, Billy's eyes flickered to the video cameras, "I don' t'ink we shoul' talk aboo' tha' here." He kept his voice low and his lips as stiff as possible.

Vasile shrugged. "I talked about it before with Jamal. I unno if they even watch those all the time anway or what. But anyway, thats all I have to say anyway." Vasile was either very confident, or inredibly ballsy. Or naive - there was no real way to tell. "They can't honestly expect us not to eventually... get angry with what;s happening."

Billy sniffed, rubbing his nose with a tentacle as he straightened up, "So yer turnin' into a gay fox."

Vasile's ear twitched back and he gave a wry smile. "Fox is the main idea, aye." He swished his tail for emphasis. "Some kind of canine to say the least. "Though I've never got around to officially asking. I thought all foxes were red, then I remember this one killer coat I saw in Paris once." He chuckled to himself. "Man I'd glad I didn't, like, buy it for so some reason. I'd feel almost guilty now."

Billy took up his crutches again, pulling himself up to his feet. "Ye'll have t'help me wit' me legs again sometime," He interupted, "If y'promise no' t'star' fancyin' me or nothin'. Thus far, I'm still male upstairs an' down."

Vasile forced himself to leer. "Well then, chap, you might want to start figuring out how to wear pants or else I just might not be able to help myself."

He tried to hold a straight face, but failed, quickly shaking his head and chuckling. "Sorry, I couldn't resist. I promise I won't make the moves." Though Vasile didn't want to say... slimey tentacles just wasn't doing it for him. Plus the smoking and the... little baggie. He's stick with the young pretty onces. Like Ambrose, Tim, and Avery.

"But uh...yeah. I'm down here pretty often, wouldn't mind helping. I'm not a trained phyical therapist or anything but s**t - Id know as much to help you with your new atamony and any doc would. I'm also in Duplex 14 if you ever want to find me."

"T'irty three," Billy replied, moving towards the door "I tend t'hoard drinks if y'don' feel li' walkin' all th'way t'the beach." He stopped, glancing back at him as he ashed his cigarette on the carpet, "It was nice talkin' wit' ye, Vasile."

Vasile gave a slight dissaproving look at the ashes but kept his mouth shut. "Yeah, you, too. I'll keep that in mind abuot the drinks. You can get back okay?"

"I aint bloody *useless*," He chuckled, shaking his head, "Talk t'y'soon." That said, the octopus hobbled out, his head spinning with thoughts.

Timothy dragged his way over to his duplex. He hadn't been there in about a week, atleast he thought it was a week. The days kind of all blurred together at this point.

Timothy was scarce to believe some of the things he'd said in that night of passion with Avery. He headed over to his duplex and to the fateful confrontation with Vasile.

Timothy knew, to pull this off, he was going to have to fess up to someone, and he'd rather fess up to Vasile than to Avery. Avery just seemed so much more sensative.

It was interesting, when Timothy was with Vasile, it felt like it was Vasile in charge, running the show. Even if Timothy was guiding it along last time. With Avery it was the exact opposite.

It was like he was just stuck in the middle... mmmm... between Avery and Vasile.

Thoughts like these were the ones that got Timothy in trouble, and he knew it. Concequences aside, it had taken him almost a week to work up the balls to do this.

But first, a quick change of clothes at the duplex. Timothy walked into his duplex, right benieth Vasile's, and slammed the door behind him. He needed to be quick.

After a bit Timothy finished changing, and showering, and now with his fur smelling very clean he headed upstairs and knocked on Vasile's door.

Vasile was sitting on his bed, reading one of the books he borrowed from Cass and was avoiding returning. He didn't know how long he should be forced to wait until trying to talk to her again. He wasn't to make sure she was doing okay.

Vasile's feelings for her hadn't changed much. Though he no longer seemed to be able to view her as his girlfriend, he did view her a good friend, and he felt completely guilty for having to do what he did. But he no longer had any doubts in his mind about his changing sexuality, so it gave him a bit of comfort to know he hadn't just made it up as an excuse because of what she looked like.

Well, not that he could ever really know, but it made him feel better regardless.

When the door knocked, Vasile dog-eared the corner and opened the door. "Tim!" he said with a smile, immediatelely waving him in. "I haven't seen you around in a while," he said, slipping his arms around his waist as Tim came in, kicking the door closed behind him with a black foot. "I was afraid I scared you off or something...was I that bad?" Feigning a beaten puppy look, Vasile rested his chin on the young man's shoulder.

Timothy was pulled in close to Vasile and found himself breathing deep the fox boy's scent, he let himself go along for the ride. "Hey Vasile, no you didn't scare me off... in fact... you were amazing."

Timothy breathed a bit heavily remembering their first night. "That's why I'm here in fact..." Timothy said. Slow to bring up the real point to him being here or fess up to his exact reasons.

He was such a coward sometimes...

Vasile gave a fanged grin and spun Tim around, looking down and him. His tails curled around one of Tim's ankles.

Vasile completely misinterpreted what Tim meant by 'the reason he was here.' Vasile was more than ready to pick up where they left off. "Oh it is?" Vasile started to pull Tim towards the bed, leaning forward to steal a kiss.

Timothy had very little willpower around Vasile. Less than usual even as he returned Vasile's kiss. After a moment he pulled away, but not too soon, he savored it while he could. Timothy's pull away was slow and... not outright obvious.

He smacked his lips a bit getting himself under control. "Listen, I don't mean just that... I wasn't... entirely honest with you the other night."

When Tim pulled away from his lips, Vasile took the oppurtunity to nuzzle into his furry, clean-smelling fur in his neck as Tim began to speak.

He pulled back slightly, his ears sinking down. The tip of his tail gave a nervous twitch. "What... do you mean?"

"I..." Timothy stuttered afraid to actually come out and say it. He skipped topic foward a little bit, inapproiately. "You ever consider a threesome?"

There... he'd said it. Well, he hadn't said it but he was working on it, he was trying.
PostPosted: Sun May 21, 2006 4:23 pm

Vasile opened and closed his mouth, confused. "Uhm, I've done my share of them before," he admitted, "But you know... with women." He sat down on the bed, giving a very puzzled look to Tim, scratching his head and running his hand through his hair. "Why? You asking? With who?"

Vasile also found himself wondering if the other party was a guy or a gal...and if either would make him feel more comfortable than the other...

Timothy suttured again. "Well... see... I was thinking...". Be honest with him... you need to explain Timothy thought. His mind just was not here for this. He jumped topic again. "I've been seeing Avery."

This was not going the way he had planned it in his head.
