Dew felt wierd, tired but oddly unable to sit still. She needed to move but she couldn't. She glanced around her, but everything was black. She wasn't even sure her eyes were open. She couldn't feel or hear or smell anything, and that scared her. Or should have. There was always something, something that gave off scent, that she knew. But there was nothing. Despite that, she was oddly calm. Agitaited with not being able to move, but still calm. She felt something brush her face, but when she reached for it, she couldn't move, and it was soon gone. She heard her brother's voice again, whispering to her. Like he did the night he pulled her from the river. She had fallen in when the waters were to fast. But he had saved her. And he had found he could tree-shape. She smiled, he was so happy that day. With that, she closed her eyes, willing herself to sleep and listen to his voice.

Outside of her mind, her body was still. But tears leaked from her eyes. From her fight with Autumn or hearing her brother, none could tell.

Dew's brother faded from her mind once more as his voice was replaced by another familiar voice. this one apologizing, although she wasn't sure what for. She didn't feel hurt. It took her a moment to recognize that it was Autumn, but Dew was still preoccupied trying to reach out for her brother. *Wait. Come back!* she sent. She had meant to send to her brother, but him being just in her head, the sent was instead targeted at Autumn. *Don't leave!* Dew called after the fading voice, wondering why her brother would leave her alone in the dark.

*I am awake* the young cub sent as a reply, but she cared more about finding her brother again. She wasn't really lying when she sent, since to her, she was awkae. She was aware, her eyes were open, her mind working, sort of. *Did you see him? my brother. He was here. I can't find him though.* she sent to Autumn, pleading for her to help the cub. *Leaf! Come back!* she sent out once more. Ever confused.

A memory? Dew's mind began to race, seeking out her brother, finding the memory of the river, the same words. Then the Cataclysm and the holt destroyed. A memory, her mind screamed. She heard his voice again though, telling her to open her eyes. But now, she wasn't sure she wanted to. *It's all a memory* she sent back to Autumn, more to make herself say it and accept it then to tell Autumn, who seemed to already know. Suddenly, the pain in her head returned, pounding like a herd of zwoots on a stampede, or at least like she heard that sounded. Her eyes snapped open as she gasped and everything came back.

Dewpaw reached out, blindly, but to her best effort, trying to grab at Autumn, although she missed by about a foot. Still, she was happy her arms were finally obeying her. She tried sitting up, but her head wasn't having any of it, so she contented herself with just turning her head to look at Autumn. *Wait. Just... wiat* the send was a plea. But Dew wasn't sure if she wanted Autumn to stay so she wouldn't get in trouble or so Dew wouldn't be alone. *I don't need you to get anyone.* Another plea, again with two motivations behind it. The cub reached out again, still managing to miss Autumn, but this time getting a little closer. She thought it was good enough, speaking taht she was seeing two of everything. Or was it three. She couldn't really tell if the second Autumn was just moving back in forth or if there was a third.

Dew smiled weakly up at Autumn, the pain in her head beginning to dull down a little. *He seemed so real. I miss him.* she sent to the other wolfrider, glad the elfess didn't leave. And then Dew knew, she wanted autumn so stay because she didn't want to be alone right now.

Dew shook her head again, glad when two, or was it three, Autumn's became one. She pushed herself up, leaning heavily back on her hands to support her. She wasn't sure she could quite sit up otherwise. *Why do you look so down? I lost.* Dew sent to Autumn, along with a mental nudge. For now, the fight was forgiven, well forgotten. The cub hated dwelling on things. Wolves faught, but they weren't enemies. *Now. Do we have any ravvit? I'm starving!* and to emphasize her point, her stomach growled. Going on a trip like that took a lot out of you.
