Hannah covered her mouth in shock. "Sweetie it's alright. At least now it's an excuse to actually talk to him. You know, now that he's actually reading the letter." Her mother said. Hannah put down her hand.

"True but why I am so nervous?" She asked tears forming in her eyes. Her mother walked up to her with a smile.

"Because you're in love." Her said as she wiped her daughters tears.

"Isn't this wrong? I mean he was Jeremy's best friend. He keeps telling me it's alright but some how I feel like it's not." Hannah cried. Her mother shook her head.

"No sweetie. He's told you it's ok to move on." They embraced and Hannah cried until she could finally stop. The letter was sent and everything was going to be different.

(If you need the letter again, it's on the 8th page, 12th post. Are you going to write what was in his letter or should I just say that she read it?)

Hannah and her mother hugged there in front of the door for awhile. Lily, her younger sister, walked in the room. "What? Somebody die?" She asked. Hannah let go of her mom and glared at her sister. Lily squished her face as she followed Hannah to her room. "I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." Lily repeated. Hannah lied down on her bed and hugged a pillow. Lily sat next to her on the bed. "Do you want to make some cookies?" She asked. Hannah laughed.

"You just want me to make my cookies because you haven't had mine in forever." She said.

"Exactly, so do you?" Lily asked. Hannah nodded and the two set off in the kitchen. As they made the cookies, Hannah couldn't help but smile at how much Liam and Jeremy both loved her cookies. Hannah told her sister everything and Lily sat on the counter finishing off the left over cookie dough. "So why did you run home?" She asked.

"Liam brought in my letter. I was kind of hoping that he would have waited until I left. When he didn't, I left anyway." Hannah placed the cookies in the oven and sat next to her sister. "I just hope he'll still talk to me."

Liam noticed Hannah's bag laying by the couch. He grabbed her movies and put them in the bag picked it up and started heading to her house thinking of the letter he wrote to her.

Okay, there is no easy way for me to say this, because I may come off as a totally cool guy ha! But then again I am, I'm a wimp when it comes to this. Since Jeremy's death I've been doin some thinkin, and I realized that, you have say what you feel before it's too late. And not to take things for granite. So here I am writing this letter to tell you that I love you. It would be great if we could still be friends if you don't feel the same! I mean I value your friendship more then anything! And I also hope there is no awkwardness between us.

He laughed a little at the lameness of his letter compared to hers. He got to her door and knocked on it.

Liam smiled at her. "Hey." He lifted up her bag. "You um, left you bag at my place."

He nodded and placed the bag right next to her. "Well, I really should probably go now." He turned. No you fool, turn around and talk to her, tell her how you feel forget the letter and just tell her!

Adella was indeed the quiet type. After the smoothie shop, she went home to find her sister teasing her about Ryan. "Shut up, Cassie," she said playfully.

"You don't mean that, do you, A-dell-a?"

"Yes I do, Ca-san-dra."

"Then I guess I shouldn't tell you about the letter."

"What letter?"

"I dunno, you told me to shut up."

"Oh, why do I even bother." She went to the mail organizer her parents kept. For once there was mail in her slot that wasn't junk, or from a college. She ripped the letter open. She read it, gaped, and read it again. Then she forgot her self entirely and plopped down on the floor where she was. Nononononononono. I mean, she was doing a little mental victory dance, but she was now freaked about how to act around him. She kind of wished she'd signed her name to her letter. She went over it in her head, it sounded lame:

Ryan,

I've wanted to tell you this since about the tenth grade, but I never found the words, or the time was wrong, or I was just too much of a coward to say so. I don't even know why I'm typing this now, except that Jeremy's death made me realize that if I died without letting you know, I'd regret it.

I love you. I've loved you as long as I can remember.

I know I'm probably coming off like a creepy, stalker person, and I'm sorry. I want us to stay friends though...if you don't love me. I can understand. I've always thought you were smart, funny, cute, handsome, kind, caring, and passionate about your dreams. You are the kind of person that can do whatever they want. I could extoll your virtues endlessly, but the longer I take on this letter, the more scared I am to send it.

The next morning Adella rose early. She was too agitated to do anything sensible, so she put on some shorts, and old t-shirt, her running shoes and her iPod and went out for a run. She hoped to God she didn't run into Ryan.

Hannah smiled to herself when he took the cookie. For a few minutes they sat and stood there in silence. Hannah heard the front door open and close and then to hear it again a minute later. "Hannah can you come here please?" Her mother called from another room.

"Be right back." She smiled at Liam though in her mind she didn't want to leave him. Her mother didn't say anything. She just handed her a letter that was addressed to her. Hannah quickly read it, thinking it was junk mail. But as she read it more, she nearly fainted. Again, she read the letter. Making sure every word was real and actually written down on paper. A happy tear rolled down her cheek. But she had to be sure. Hannah walked back in the room and raised the letter. "Is this true?" She asked. Liam stared at her. "The letter you wrote, is it true?"

She heart was beating faster now. He felt the same way she did. But she had to stay calm there was still another question. "Did" She paused to try ignore the beating of hear heart. It was so loud she could feel and hear it through her ears. "Did you read my letter?" She asked bitting her lip.
