Twinforge sighed as the group began expanding again."No, I don't recall meeting your brother anywhere, but if he were heading anywhere, you should think like him to find out where he would go." At this, he picked up the scent of a creature, most likely a wolf, and another scent, of a much older, more powerful dragon. Apparently, it didn't have harmful intentions."It appears we have two visitors." He said, and then at the sound of a small meow, said,"Three, sorry." Then he stood and stretched, wanting the other dragon to see that this group had no wishes of hurt against dragons, by the fact they had befriended one.

Sortai had ventured off on his own from the others, meaning Teka and Lamkit. He was moving through the bushes when he stumbled into a wooded area. In the center of this clearing sat a great dragon. Sortai froze, half expecting it to turn and see him. "Maybe if I move slowly away...", he said softly, then began backing away,Trying as hard as he could to not draw its attention.

Phoenix smiled slightly as she heard Twinforge's words. She shifted back into her dragon form. Suddenly all could see the mighty Phoenix Firewing. Standing at over a hundred feet in height, the mighty fire red dragon looked down on all the creatures in the clearing. Phoenix looked down on Sortai and lowered her head. "Relax Small One," she said in her deep, sing-song voice. She whispered, for, if she didn't, she would bust their ears. "I will not harm you until you harm me. I don't preferably like the taste of other creatures, save deer, elk, cows anmd horses. I will not eat you today. Who are you? Am I in a land where I may rest in peace without fear a knight will come to slay me and steal me hide and head?" She swivled one of her great black eyes around to keep an eyes on the others. Can I trust them? she thought with small fear. The last creatures I trusted that weren't dragons betrayed me to knights. I had to kill those who were once my friends! Phoenix hoped that would not have to happen again. her heart was still healing!

Teka dropped the sticks he was carrying and walked into the clearing where Sortai and Phoenix stood, "If you keep making friends like this, we're gonna need a bigger camp." Teka turned to Phoenix, "My name's Teka, and I don't have a drinking problem." As Teka turned to leave, he said to Sortai, "If things get too crowded....I might leave." Teka picked up the sticks he dropped and started back to camp.

Sortai was awestruck."The only cause we would have to harm you would be if you wanted to harm us." He said, happy the dragon didn't find them as meals.

Phoenix snorted in surprise when Teka said he didn't have a drinking problem. Now she believed he did. Interesting! She thought. And I thought Damien was odd. I like him!! Phoenix stretched and curled her red body around the camp to protect her new friends and to keep them warm from the chill of the wind. She watched Teka, Sortai and Twinforge. "I would not find you as a meal unless you attacked," Phoenix spoke daintily. "I have very fine taste that directs me away from wolf-demons and other intelligent creatures. Besides, I have had many wolf-demon companions in the past. I would insult them if I ate you little puppy. Relax." Phoenix flexed her wings toward the sky and swivled her head to follow a slight movement in the bushes behind her right flank.

Sortai smiled as the great dragon revealed itself to be without harmful intentions."Well, i'll make sure to not attack you anytime soon.", he said, joking."By the way, may I ask your name? You know, because you spared us, and, well...", he trailed off, trying to sound polite but finding it very hard.

Teka dropped the sticks and rocks at Meesha's feet, then sat in the grass and began tossing the orb he carried up and down. He tossed it a few more times, then he stopped and stared at the orb. He sighed as he put it away, "I'm gonna take a walk, this place bores me." Teka slowly rose and called Frostbane, "C'mon boy." Frostbane jumped up and walked to his master's side, and then they started off into the forest.

Sortai looked over to Teka."Just be back soon. Not to sound like a parent or anything." He moved over to the fire. Having been gone when Twinforge finished the meat, he said,"Hey, wheres the jerky? I was hungry...", and simply sat down. He pulled a blanket from his pack and laid it down by the fire."I'll hit the sack if no-one minds. It's been a long day, full of unwanted problems." And with that, he laid back on the blanket in the heat of the fire.

Phoenix chuckled after Teka and Frostbane. She looked down on the resting form of Sortai. "My name is Phoenix," she said quietly. "And if you're hungry, I have a pack attached to the back of my human form with salted meats in it. If you'd like some. While in dragon form I have no need of it. I really don't need it at all. I can hunt like a dragon in any form." She shifted form quickly and discarded the irritating pack at the fire's edge.

Lamkit and Meesha watched all this going by “to answer your question we needed them for um arrows for Meesha and well I’m sorry but um…” Lamkit was awestruck by Teka and this new dragon. He then jumped on to Sortai's shoulder and whimpered. Meesha looked at the great stretching dragon and then at the small kitten on her lap. She petted it calmly its owner must be near by. Lamkit slid off the boy’s shoulder and walked toward the camp. (Hey guys sorry snowfrog4, akariee and I went camping… so don’t hunt us down like wild animals and stuff like that!!!!(Yhea we all live in the same town and we all live by each other…so what!!! talk2hand ) mrgreen )

Sortai opened the pack that lay at his feet. Taking a small portion of meat he sat it back down. He reached up a comforting hand to Lamkit, then said,"I suppose with all these new companions I could stay up a little longer." He looked up to the great dragon."Pleased to make your aquaintence, Phoenix.", he said then looked around again."Now, how's about a good old fashioned get-together? We could all get to know each other better so we arent simply in company of strangers. Anyone want to share a story, or something else to pass the time?" (Its fine, ruggaboo. We all have to do things in our life.)

Twinforge muttered slightly. He was uncomfortable in being in the presence of such a greater creature."Im going to go hunt for a bit." He said and stood, stretching his legs. He began walking off into the forest, as soon as he was safely away from the others, he spread his wings. He flapped hard, and was airborn for a moment before he saw a deer. He awooped then landed in front of it. He was about to attack when he heard a noise.

The kitten on Meesha's lap purred and bear clawed her leggings. "My mother was killed two months ago and I lived alone for about one month befoer I went in search for my brother to tell him of our mother's death." Meesha loked down at the kitten. "here we go again" Lamkit exagerated.(ok thanks guys)
