Such is the life of a writer.
"I've done it! Now, I get to do it again."

oh yes, side projects, they keep us on our toes don't they? But that is why we love them. But don't let it destract you from writing your main thing... I want to see your leads decide to get together.

Mmm, delicious sideproject.
I just hope it doesn't eat the main story!
...that happens to me a lot. I'm paranoid.

saint_savin I just hope it doesn't eat the main story! really? well, that happens to me too... that is why I tend to go with fanfiction for 'side projects', you can hand write them, jump around, and they should be far enough away from your own story lines to keep the plots straight. that's what I do when I get bored/writers block

All the time! *nodsnods*
I am kind of off fanficcing right now. I used to a LOT. And I still think it's perfectly productive for most people. Just... not me.

it keeps my creativity going... and it helps me practice things like character developement. Intersting qualities that happened to random characters from my various fanfictions sometimes pop up in my original ones. It keeps me on my toes.

Oh MY GOD UPDATE!
So I've been writing, and playing Final Fantay 12 (naturally).
I've been having a hard time getting back to the real plot after i did the fun slice of life chapter.
I'm trying to complete the Gilgamesh hunt--boy am i ever in over my head.

Oh heavens! Put that hunt off for a wee bit. If you think you're in over our head, you're EXTRA-doomed.
Damn. I love slice of life. So much more fun than plot to write XD.

You added more eek I am never going to be able to keep up crying . Anyway, the "slice of life" chapter is pretty funny and enjoyable. But, I want the plot to get moving. I enjoy giving serious chapts followed by lighthearted slice of life chapters... although my slice of life chapters are just a little depressing.
