Joruri shuts his eyes just enjoying the feel of her touching him and near him. "Joruri loves Mistress Idhril...He want to be with her always..." His wings were soft and smooth like velvet.

Niyana nods, "Alrighty Ruque...do you think you can sit on my shoulder and hold them?" She laughed, "And wonderful answer about the colors." At least something of her's got passed on apart from the blonde hair. "Alright miss Elnara I think we have a little helper to carry the brushes." She smiled brightly at her son. It was going to be very hard not to play favorites.

Kanis nods, "I would love that dad!" she smiles brightly..."Um...well how to I start to train....or practice? Should I run....or lift things." She looked around her bright eyes gazing over things that might be useful to her. But seeing how she had never trained before she was at a loss.

Idhril blushed, but she smiled widely and replied in a murmured, "I love you too, Joruri, and if I can help it you'll never have to go away from me."

Her love of course was the innocent child-like love for family, and that was what she understood from Joruri's words as well.

"But maybe we should go outside with the others," she smiled at him. "They'll be waiting for us to paint."

Ruque nodded and giggled, climbing up onto his mother's shoulder and holding onto her collar to keep his balance.

"All ready!" he announced eagerly.

Elnara laughed. "Such a helpful boy!" she exclaimed, her eyes shining with adoration. "Well, I can see that your mother and father are very lucky to have a good helper like you are!"

She picked up and handful of the thin brushes and held them out for her grandson to take.

Celebor smiled warmly at his daughter, laughing at her antics.

"Well it depends," he chuckled. "If you want to be faster, practice your running. If you want to be stronger, try lifting things or pushing on something ... there are all sorts of ways that you can practice and make yourself stronger."

Joruri at this time ment the family kind of love. He slowly uncoiled. "Yes...Joruri sorry he did not mean to stop Mistress Idhril from having fun..." He winced and then looked at his hand where the small cricket still sat surprisinly.

"What should Joruri do bout friend...leave in cave? Take outside?"

Niyana nods, "Yup he is a great help I can not be more proud." she laughed and moved over so that Ruque could get the brushes from Elnara. "You got them Ruque dear?" She asked as she grabed some colors and a petal, and a small clay jar. "Alright I think we are ready then if you are all set Ruque?"

Kanis nods, "hmmm....dad is a warrior...so what do you think I should do?" She smiled up at him laughing as she tried to think about what he might say to do first.

Ruran sat in the shadows hoping that Idhril would come to him soon and she could paint on him. He really hoped she would leave the doll inside where it belonged.

Idhril smiled at Joruri and climbed slowly to her feet. "You can do what you would like with it, Joruri," she told him warmly. "If you want to take him outside with us you can, but if you think he would be safer in here then you can leave him in here, too."

She wasn't going to order him around, after all. His mistress she might be, but she would only take the name as meaning that she was going to take care of him and make him whole again, no matter what it took, or how long.

Ruque took the brushes from Elnara and giggled happily. "I got them all, Mama!" he exclaimed. "Now we can go outside to Papa and everyone else!"

Elnara smiled, her eyes shining brightly, and followed Niyana outside.

Celebor crossed his legs comfortably. "Well, I would say, the first thing you have to work on is the strength of your entire body - legs, arms, and muscles that you don't even know about. Out here I think is best for running, lifting would best be done inside where the floor will help you instead of make it harder for you."

Aras looked across the grove at the trees on the other side and poked Kanis and giggled. "I'll race you to those trees and back!" she cried gleefully. She didn't know if she would win or not, but she didn't care - she wanted to do what her daddy suggested, and it would be fun to run with Kanis.

Joruri blushed and nods setting the cricket under the bed and stood as well. "Alright mistress...Joruri is sorry again for keeping Mistress Idhril from her family." He looked down and moved to her side.

Niyana nods and leads them outside smiling, "Well done Ruque!" She laughed and looked a little shocked at her daughters taking off.

Kanis laughs, "Alright I will rase you to them!" she laughed and looks at her father, "Tell us when to go!" she laughed and braised herself to run. As soon as her father gave the word she took off as fast as she could. She didn't know how fast she was compared to her sister. She was stronger but faster?
PostPosted: Tue Jun 10, 2008 7:26 pm

Idhril smiled and took Joruri's hand and squeezed it gently. "You're not keeping me from them," she told him softly. "You're joining me with them. That's different." She giggled and led him out into the sunshine.

"Wow, look at them go!" Ruque exclaimed, watching his sisters take off. To him, they were going very quickly - though of course they would never be able to keep up with their long legged parents.

The moment Celebor had told them to go, Aras took off as fast as she could, taking no heed for the breath that she would be wanting by the time she reached the other side of the grove.

"Gotta ... be ... fast," she panted, keeping even pace with her sister. "Gotta ... get ... stronger ..."

Elnara laughed softly as she stepped outside, watching the two of them go. Her children had never been this rambunctuous - well Celebor had, but well that just went to show whose children these were, didn't it?

"Go Aras go!" Jair cheered from where he sat next to Celebor. "Go Kanis go!"

He giggled. He didn't care who won, he just wanted to cheer for both of them!

Joruri held her hand warmly in his and walked out with her. He lifted a arm to shield his eyes from the bright light and looked around. He saw the familiy sence and sighed. He really did not belong here..stealing his sweet, kind, innocent mistress from them.

Niyana laughed and nods, "They are really fast..." She smiled and moved to a nice semi shaded spot and set Ruque down and started to mix the dye colors for when the girls got back.

Kanis could feel her lungs already burning. And she could see her sister moving ahead. She continued to run as fast as she could. She would not stop until she made it to the other end but it did seem she was going to loose. Well running would just be something she had to work on.

Idhril skipped outside and plopped herself down next to Jair and Celebor, giggling at the girls as they raced towards the opposite row of trees.

"They're so fast!" she exclaimed brightly, motioning for Joruri to sit with her as well.

Celebor grinned proudly. "I'm sure they'll both grow into fine warriors ... or knights, as the case may be," he chuckled.

Ruque adjusted his grip on the brushes and moved to follow his mother, but his sandal caught on a blade of grass and he tripped, falling onto the pile of brushes. Luckily, he was cushioned by the grass that had been flattened down, and he wasn't hurt - again.

"I'm okay," he grinned quickly before anyone could worry about him, wiggling back to his feet and picking up the brushes again, one at a time.

Elnara sat next to Ruque and Niyana, her eyes on her grandson. She glanced over at Niyana. "You are a true blessing to our family," she smiled warmly. "And I can see that your children are going to be just as much a blessing."

Aras kept her eyes focused on the trees ahead, and as soon as they were close enough she slapped her tiny palm against the bark of the nearest one.

"Got it!" she gasped, turning on her heel and starting back towards her father as fast as her little legs would carry her. But she could feel herself slowing down as she ran out of breath and out of energy, and she couldn't help but feel disappointed in herself.

Jair could see his niece slowing down. "Keep going, Aras!" he cheered her on, pumping his fists in the air. "You can do it! Come on!"

Joruri moved to sit next to his mistress looking around. He really did love being outside. Now that he could enjoy it...there was so much to see. He smiled sweetly as he looked at the sky and trees.

Ruran wished for a moment that he was closer to the race path. He would have loved to trip his sister and watch her fall. Then he would see how much of a warrior she would make. Either of them. Woman had one place...the home. And even then it was questionable.

He nodded woman should have thier own place to stay and always be ready for when thier man chose to come to their home and bed them. Then he could go to his next lady.

Niyana herd the scatter of the brushes and turned to hear her son saying he was alright and started picking up brushes. She wanted to rush to him and check him but she had to let him do it on his own.

"You got it Ruque? We are almost there." She smiled and moved to sit next to Elnara and started to mix the different color dyes.

Kanis saw her sister make the turn and started back and she though her breath was straining to get into her lung forced her body to go faster.

She hit the tree and turned sliding a bit in the dirt but she regained her blanace and took off after her sister. Everything else seemed to grow fuzzy and drain out all she saw was the finish. She didn't even know where her sister was in comparason to her she just kept running.

Idhril smiled up at Joruri and squeezed his hand. "It's real pretty out here, isn't it?" she beamed at him. "Maybe if I can stay here with you when I'm not in school, we can live outside or in a tree or something! Mama says that her kind used to live in trees."

That would be wonderful, she thought, to live high in the trees on flets with the sky as their roof - or have a roof that they could use for shelter when the weather threatened ...

Aras's teal eyes were focused on her father's hand, her aim for finishing the race, and everything else was lost to her as she pushed herself faster than she knew she should be going. Her chest burned, her nostrils flared, and she had a feeling she was leaning a little too far forward -

And then her sandal caught on a piece of grass, and she tumbled head over heel in the grass, rolling several times before coming to a stop flat on her back, chest heaving as she gasped for air. The world above her was spinning ... she felt sick ...

"Oh, no," Celebor murmured worriedly, seeing how pale Aras seemed. He moved forward quickly and picked her up, cradling her in his hands. With one finger, he gently brushed her hair away from her face so that she wouldn't choke on it, then gently massaged her chest.

"Breathe," he murmured softly, tenderly. "Breathe ..."

Ruque picked up the last of the brushes and nodded, biting his lip in concentration. "I got 'em," he mumbled, lifting his feet carefully and making his way over to his mother and grandmother.

Once he was there, he dropped the brushes carefully and took a step back, then rubbed his arms and looked up at Niyana, smiling weakly. A drop of sweat appeared on his brow, but he just kept rubbing his arms and smiling.

"Wow ... they're kind of heavy after a while," he giggled sheepishly. But to be fair, the brushes were almost as tall as he was.

Elnara giggled. "So strong," she encouraged him. "You're going to be a big help for your mother, I know it!"

Joruri smiled. "Joruri would enjoy living in a tree with Mistress Idhril." his fingers softly stroked the top of her hand. "Beautiful..." he said softly then his mind started to wander maybe if he was required to stay here he would build her a house...high up in the trees.

Kanis heard something fall and turned to see her sister. She slowed to a panting stop just a bit in front of Aras and turned. It was not right to leave a fallen friend. She knelt down next to her sister trying to catch her breath to ask if she was alright.

But her dad came over and scooped her up. Kanis just looked up watching her dad and Aras. "Is....Is she....alright?" She gasped out.

Niyana nods, "Yes he will be your a great help! Maybe I should get you and your sisters some water or juice." she smiled rubbing his head carefully. Then turned feeling Celebor's worry and hearing his words.

She turned, "Whats wrong my lord?"

Ruran laughed from where he sat. Well looks like he didn't have to do anything at all.

Idhril giggled a bit as Joruri stroked her hand. It wasn't quite a tickle, but it felt quite nice - very soothing.

She was looking around at the space around them and just thinking how beautiful it was when he made his comment, and she sighed happily and nodded, leaning against his arm contentedly.

"It's a beautiful day," she smiled, mistaking his comment.

Aras raised one arm and pointed at the sky weakly.

"I'm ... o ... kay," she panted - and then her arm flopped down to her side. She put her hand on her chest and smiled faintly at Celebor. "I'm just ... really ... hot," she panted quietly.

Celebor smiled with relief and brushed her hair back again, then smiled down at Kanis. "She's fine," he assured her, putting one hand down for her to climb up on as well. "She's just tired ... perhaps it was a little too far for you two to run for your first time. You both should have some water."

He turned and smiled reassuringly at Niyana. "They're fine, just a little overheated," he told her softly. "Would you mind getting them some water? And I think we're all going to have to go for baths later on ..."

Jair blinked at Ruran curiously. "What are you laughing at?" he asked his nephew blankly. "They could have been hurt ... that's not funny ..."

Joruri nods, "Yes...very beautiful day...." he watched her lookk around and smiled at the weight of her against him. He lifted his arm and wrapped it around her being careful of his string.

He would build her a house to be proud of...though he didn't know how to build...anything.

Kanis moved to her father's hand and sat down panting hotly. But she nods, "I am glad she is okay..." She smiled softly, "I guess we both need training on running.

Niyana nods and hurries into the house coming back with thimbles full of water for the three kids. She handed one to Ruque before carrying the others to the girls, "I think a bath would be nice as long as they do try a swimming contest before they learn how." she laughed at her girls.

Ruran smirked at Jair, "And your point uncle? I wish they were hurt." he stood up and walked away from the group and towards the other side of the clearing.

Idhril looked up at Joruri curiously. He seemed to be distracted ... at least, that was her impression, even though she had only really met him the day before.

"Joruri?" she asked softly, putting one hand over his that was around her. "Are you thinking about something?"

Her golden eyes gazed at him curiously, worry hidden in their shining depths.

Celebor smiled and nodded at Kanis. "Yes ... I believe you do. It's not just about the forward motion, lifting your feet and propelling yourselves forward ... it's also about the breathing, so that you can last longer, and move faster, and building up muscles as well."

As soon as Aras had her thimbleful of water, she sat up and lifted it to her lips, drinking so greedily that it splashed a little bit over her face.

"Aaaahhhhh," she sighed after she had finished the entire thimble. "That was ... so ... good ..." She smiled up at Niyana, her green eyes shining brightly. "Thank you, Mommy."

Ruque sat with his thimbleful of water in his lip, staring down at it. He wanted to drink the water, but on the other hand he was sticky from his lunch and he knew that he would need to wash.

"Do you need help with something?" Elnara asked Ruque, holding out her hand to him so that he could climb up onto it if he wanted.

Ruque looked up at his grandmother and nodded. "I want to drink this," he explained, nodding at his water, "but I need to wash ... and I won't know what I should do."

Elnara giggled softly. "Drink up," she murmured, ruffing his hair affectionately. "We'll get you washed up in a bit. That's not enough water to wash well, anyways."

Ruque grinned brightly at her. "Okay!" he agreed cheerfully; and he tipped the thimble up and drank deeply. A bit of water dribbled down his chin, but he didn't seem to notice, for even after he had finished drinking and set the thimble down again, he didn't wipe it away.

Jair blinked at Ruran, completely shocked. He had thought Ruran was nice ... but ... it seemed that he wasn't. Jair couldn't imagine wishing one of his siblings was hurt ... he would never think such a thing ...

And now he grew silent, thoughtful, as he tried to think about what was going on.

Joruri flushed lightly and turned to look at her hand on his. Again just fascinated but the beauty of her skin and the softness of her touch.

Slowly he nodded, "Yes mistress...Joruri think..." She turned his gaze to her heavenly orbs. His were soft and slightly embarrassed.

Kanis nods listening to her father and thanks her mother. She sipped at the water some how knowing not to chug it now after a run. "That makes sense." She said after a pause. "I will need to work on my breathing then. And then my speed."

NIyana looked over and heard her son then looked at her mate, "Well maybe we should all take a nice bath before we start to paint. We can take turns between the ladies and the men." She said though she would much rather bathe alone with Celebor. "Or we can use to different pools of water..." she said softly.

She knew that most of the children were young and not worry about themselves running naked with the opposite gender. But Celebor was an adult and well, bathing with his mother naked might be a little odd now. Besides it would be best if she didn't see her mate naked...that would be too much for her to hold back from right now.

And there would be two 'adults' for the girls and for the guys.
