Gouken Furoshima

*As his own hairs were singed by his own attack, snapping them quickly, he watched the now seemingly wolflike creature jump from it's position on Gouken's anatomy. His deep red eyes followed the being as it sailed through the air above him, and watched as it landed a few feet behind him. This creature had more skill than he had anticipated.

Just before the creature's feet hit the ground, Gouken made a lunge towards it, arms ready for an attack. Standing 8 feet tall made it's lunges quite large and in two steps he stood a only a couple feet from his opponent, making a large swipe with his taloned hand at the wolf's midsection. He kept his other arm ready for an attack, watching his opponent's limbs intensely so he could notice the beginnings of an attack.*

::Cerebus's eyes only squinted as he landed and saw the beast had already begun its lunge. Its arms were extended ahead of it aiming to do painful things to the wolf. But the wolf didnt want painful things done to it.

The moment it hit the ground it used its legs as a powerful spring board to launch him forward. The thin blackish purple aura that surrounded his hands suddenly exploded into thick and full Shadow Flame, and the wolf let out a roar. He had a few advantages on his opponent, and a few disadvantages.

The Beast was large, its muscles were huge and powerful. But Cereubs was smaller, and quicker. As he launched forward he tucked his legs up and aimed to fly between the creatures arms, and toward its exposed chest. The heart, the lungs, the organs, delicious organs. But, the Beast wasnt without claws, they scraped large streaks along his sides as they passed by, and the pain ripped through his body enraging him even further and causing his Shadow Flames to thicken and burn harder and stronger. They now burned at about 800 degrees. Enough to seer through muscle and skin. But Cerebus didnt care, he was out for blood. Once past the arms seemingly nothing stood in the way of its chest.

And once he reached it Cerebus would thrust forth his powerful claws aiming to try and rip directly into the creatures chest and burn, giving him a firm grip. A grip that he would use to push his body upward as he tried to clamp his powerful jaws around the beasts neck. His jaws bit down with a force of 1500lbs per square inch. That was 2/3rds of a ton. Usually enough to rip ones neck clean out when he jerked his head back. But wether or not he would suceed, had yet to be seen.::

*If Gouken hadn't been watching the wolf's limbs with such intensity, this would have been disastorous.

For him, at least.

But, with forward momentum and the speed at which the wolf was moving towards him, a dodge to either side would be quite impossible. Instead, Gouken lowered his body to a crouch, tucking his knees to his chest. As the creature passed above him, he could feel the burning heat of it's hands singe the thin layer of fur covering his whole body. He was immune to pain though, so he was only aware of the occurence.

At the point when the wolf's groin area was just above his head, Gouken used what his father liked calling the 'porcupine' technique. Twenty seperate strands of his hair grew to life, and shot upwards in random directions at his opponents body, all inch-thick needle pointed and poised to pierce the beast's anatomy.

His eyes did not leave the wolf's limbs, of course. Whilst his hair shot up to impale the creature, Gouken lifted a clawed arm to attempt to grasp his opponent's tucked in leg, somewhere around the ankle. If his grab held, he would drop his hairs back to their noraml position, and stand once again to spin and toss his opponent to the ground. If not, then he would remain where he was and watch for a counter-action.*

::His opponent was quicker than he had imagined. He had ducked and now Cerebus was flying over the creatures head. He knew the attack from earlier. He knew what was about to come before it even came. And without a doubt, it came. 20 spikes ripped up through his body piercing and poke, ripping stems of his shadow shell away.

The Wolf was not immune to pain, pain hurt. It stung, he burned, it scaled his entire body. His very inch burned with pain from those strands of hair. The difference was that pain did not stop him, it fueled him. His teeth gnashed together not in anger, but in rage. And just as his body burned with pain, it burned with raging shadow flames. His entire body was engufled in blackish purple flame. But his hands till burned the fiercest, his claws burned at a raging 2000 degrees, only 1000 less than what is used to cremate people. But his body burned at the usual 800. That would, or should be enough to burn away the hair that pierced him.

But that wasnt nearly enough now. He tucked his legs in, accidentally dodging the grab which was aimed for his leg, and then shot his arms down. Cerebus was a fast animal, very fasy, but when enraged he was even faster. And here he was just a foot or two above the beasts head. Reaching down was easy, and he did. His arms shot like two burning spires of death, they aimed to grab the beast by its head full on. He would dig his claws into its flesh, his burning fingers would likely be scalding away chunks of flesh around the eyes, he infact made it a point to try and aim his fingers in the beasts eye sockets.

And then he would use his body wieght. He would tug himself inward, and flip his body over the creatures head, this would use his body wieght to tug up on the upper half of the creatures head. To litterally pull up and back as Cerebus flipped over to the beasts back. The goal here was to litterally rip the top of the beasts head clean off and blind it while he was at it. It would take at least a minute of exposure for the heat to burn through bone, but it should be enough to literally skin meat off of the top of its head. Muscle, fat, all.

Wether or not it could survive was not a question for the wolf. But, at this range, with his speed, he felt rather confident it wouldnt be able to defend itself, but time would tell.::

*If Gouken could feel emotions in his demon state, anger and embarassment would be what he was feeling at the moment he realised his own attacks made the wolf stronger. He should have seen it sooner.

As his hair was instantly incinerated by the flames, Gouken attempted to roll to one side. He felt the burning grip as his opponent's clws then pierced the skin of his shoulder, searing the flesh in a 30 centimeter radius all around the point they struck. And, to make it worse, a substantial chunk of his flesh was ripped from his shoulder when the creature flipped, rendering his left arm useless. His roll to the side continued, and he got to his feet once it stopped, turning to face his opponent.

Crimson blood oozed from the huge claw-like gashes running up Gouken's shoulder, and all his black fur had been singed away of the left side of his face, most of his skin as well. His left eye had be completely burnt out, leaving nothing but an open socket. His upper arm was also singed, the heat emonating from the wolf's attack had melted away most of the skin there, too. Luckily the bleeding was quite minimal, the wounds had been instantly cauterized by the sheer intense heat of his opponent's arms.

But the wolf had taken all of the spikes from his attack. This left somewhere around 13 one-inch holes in the beast's body, which would inevitably leak blood at an incredible rate. If Gouken could survive for a bit longer, the other creature would surely go unconsious from blood loss. Gouken could not feel pain, but nothing was said about fatigue. His body struggled to continue after the heavy wounds had been inflicted; but Gouken would not give up.

He made his only useable palm face the ground and opened a quick portal to the abyss around his feet. He sank into it quickly, and just as it began to close, four more opened. One above the wolf's head, one to it's right, one to it's left, and one behind it. Since time in the abyss was suspended, it was possible for Gouken to open these at the same time. When they formed, tyrades of the lightning-like jet black fire burst from the portals above and to the left and right.

During the onslaught, Gouken bust from the portal behind his opponent. When he emerged completely, the fire ceased. Gouken made another lunge towards the beast, shoving his only useable arm towards it's back, directly the it's spine was located. His talons would rip through flesh and bone alike, and if he connected it would paralyze the creature. The only thing he had left to defend with, his tail, was poised and ready to lash out if the wolf decided it wanted to attack again.*

Daemon Val Din
::Such an arrogant little piece of work she was. Her predicessor could clearly be seen in her spirit, the same damned determination and spirit that b***h had carried. His list was growing by the minute as to how high a degree he was so severly being pissed off. Ever rarely has Daemon sought to feed off the bare emotion of his spirit, but he tore it open and let it bleed inside of him, the fire of his spirit rising as she took her step back. His gaze was nearly a pure fire ready light her ablaze at that very moment...but he wanted to savor this moment and opportunity.

"For so long I had hoped and waited for a chance to punish your predicessor, you false puppet, and it seems I'll have what I want here and now through you!"

His voice was very much ablaze itself, his voice like a roaring flame of deep hatred and passion as it cut through the still air around them. If she didn't shake from fear, the sheer force of his voice would rattle her just a bit. His right hand clenched fast and hard, a charge of crimson energy pulsing through the immediate air around his fist, slowly creeping up his arm to disappear underneath his large cloak.

His left hand flew up, the silver chain detaching from the right side of the cape as he grabbed the garment and threw it off from his right and off to the left. The cape itself dragged through the floor of the large platform, the simple weight of it causing a divet into the ground along its path. His entire body was exposed, the armor in the same vital areas as Tagard's, only it seemed to gleem with an altered appearence, somehow darkened.

His chest pulsed with vibrate, crimson energy as he stood open to Spearfrost's gaze, his chest heaving up and down as for the entirety of this time his gaze refused to leave hers. Seconds following, his entire body flooded over with crimson energy that spread from the top of his hair all the way down to his feet. His very body flexed invoulentarily as the energy poured over him, his eyes filling with a blaze of energy that poured out from the limits of his eyes, shocking the nearby air.

"You...are mine!"

Daemon's formed faded from view, the pure speed of his body slicing the ground beneath his feet as the energy trailed behind him creating a close afterimage made of pure energy. In less than a split second's time, Daemon's closed and charged fist was aimed directly towards Spearfrost's gut, his metal covered knuckles adding only a bitter sweet addage to the attack. Armor, celestial or not, would be of little help in his frenzy.

((Short note: We'll be continuing this tomorrow. Sorry to any interested...))

*This was it.... this was the only chance she was going to get... his aruas raged and burned... his movements... his actions foretold that he had snapped. That if he didn't release this build up of raw energy through action, he'll surely kill himself.... and in all honesty... she doubted that was the option he was going to take...*

"I've waited for this!" Spearfrost shouted beneath the forces and crushing auras.

*Summoning her own blue auras of searing fire, in pure haste and need she took the defensive. Strenghtening herself by supporting her weight on her left foot... holding her right arm at shoulder height and her left lowered to her left side. Their powers collided... burned into each other and fought for possession upon the personal space it claimed.

At that very moment the tide turned... she felt it... and Daemon acted upon it. Striking quickly and aggresively, his after-image was just a blur, only a blink... just enough... for her to managed opening her right palm and deflect the one attack they both knew would put her down in an instant. But it was, already too much... the force alone pushed Daemon and herself back a step. The solid ground cracked and disentigrated at their feet.. dust and debris lifted and rose around them giving the pure power and force of that single attack form of it's magnitude and strenght... Instinct, made her hold on.

Sucking in the pain she still felt, the raw hate in her iced eyes burned... Spearfrost extended her fingers, lenghting the claws on her gautlets, clearing over his metal covered knuckles and clamped them into his hand... burying and driving them as deep as she can into his flesh... In a small gritted voice, she spoke through clenched teeth...*

"Don't think I'll just roll over and die here...! But if I have to.... I WILL take you with me!!!"

*The claws on her left gauntlet shinged and extended to a few inches... tapping into her srenght. She moved to slash upwards towards his bounded arm, in attempts to sever his limb from the rest of his body...*

((I'm sorry I took so long to post... my com has been down for over a week and I've been trying to get it fixed. Just that it's taking a while. My laptop is too slow and work had me in a fix as well... I hardly ever get the time... but I hope that will change soon...))

::Daemon didn't welcome the thought of being torn into by this frail 'thing', but what she was about to incite was more than just a wound upon him. As her 'talons' neared within half an inch from his arm, Daemon's energy sparked to life agaist her claws, but were not enough to prevent penetration. The talons pierced after a second of force, the energy dispersing into her gauntlet, surging with great power into her body while using the metal as a false conductor, draining whatever energy might be contained within it.

The second phase, her penetration of his arm, cause a second natural reaction to her attack. As the sharp talons ripped into his unprotected forearm, small, dark flames sprouted from the piercings. The pain, though, was harsh enough to rip through his focus and concentration, a piercing inhuman roar ripping from his throat as his arm was torn into. The flames grew with an unbridled fury, almost exploding from the newly formed openings. The explosion of flame would cause enough force to toss her from his appendage, but the what flames that would touch her would react much differently from normal fire. This...was hellfire. The purest flame.

To perception of vision, the flames would appear as living obsidian stone, molding and shifting just as fire would, but smooth and solid to the touch. Ah yes, the touch. The feeling of this was far different from other kinds of flame, as if you were touch it, you would only feel a cool surface, like that of flowing water, but if its intent or that of its Master is anger and harm, the fire itself would reach the very core of the unknown and unobtained degree of absolute zero. The flame would wrap itself around the being it was attacking, freezing everything on contact, and in essence 'burning' it from existence. Even immortals are incapable of resisting the instant pain unleashed by it, despite their existance in eternity. Immortality in hellfire, is eternity in constant pain, for you see hellfire also has the ability to restore the flesh it 'burns' from its victim, turning the process into an unending cycle of pain. The only release is either death, or release by a Master.

For Spearfrost, this was a rare occurance as for the moment of release, Daemon's mind was unfocused due to the pain caused by her piercing his flesh, disabling him from concentrating the hellfire against her. No, instead the remnants of the fire would splash against her, and then fall to the ground to burn until recollected. Once recollected, the flames would work to remend the wounds, eventually healing Daemon over a matter of time. It was never instant, taking at least a half an hour for full healing, and it would be about that long before his right arm was at full strength again. His rage was syphoned now, focusing itself into pure thought and the battle ahead. His ability was only hindered by this attack, but his assault would only continue.

His right arm temporarily crippled, hanging by his side, his body turned left towards her, his stance widened to support him as his eyes focused on Spearfrost. Daemon's left hand flared outward, towards Spearfrost. A mass of crimson energy built over his body, surging over him and around his shoulder. Snaking and weaving down his arm, Daemon gathered the energy in his outstreched palm, collecting it at first into a small orb. Slowly, the orb would grow, sparking and snapping the air around it. A little longer, and he would have a fatal enough amount to strike her with.

*Holding on to her own, the force has placed some distance between them... Spearfrost kept slowed, steady and deep breaths... focusing on his every action. She felt a strange essense creeping upon her gautlet, quickly shaking and flicked her wrist of his distateful blood of her claws that odd feeling didn't disappear... it became cold...

She witness the rage burn in him... hellfire and though contrary to what many may think... it never burn hot.. it was the worst kind... Searing ice that burns deeper than any flame. Killing by feirce wounds it forages deep within the flesh. It was never the easiest thing you can heal from... the truth was... many believe that you never heal...

It was also... her one flaw... barely able to open her eyes. Her blood throbbed dangerously into her head. Her body temprature dropped so fast, she couldn't even take a single breath, to move. She knew, for a fact that Daemon would certainly take advantage of that weakness... so she had no choice, when she disheartedly relinquished her Daisaku and Tengoku double swords. Throwing them into the white holy flame and reforging these customed gautlets most compatable to hold the elixir. The only thing, that can aid her desperation....

Prayer won't help her... She was an abomination to the Legions, Demons and even humans... Why would they care for her exsistance. But there was something he failed to understand... the legendary Angel Tear was incased into the two custom made gautlets, she now wore. As if of their own mind... blue fires burned and raged from the orbs consuming the hell fires.... canceling their effects and disappating it's power over Spearfrost...

The orb Daemon held... grew and burned with the hate and hellfire he felt at this very moment.. his concentration so deep... though it didn't make the aura bigger, it sure as hell would have made it stronger....

Spearfrost slowly stood and drew herself out of the defensive position trying to shake off the cold... but it burned deep. Not in her flesh, but her soul. Yet there was no time for pain... Extending both hands forward at shoulder lenght and facing Daemon, her fingers splayed holding her claws at a uniformed distance, she gazed upon the luminosity of the rich blue liquid tha was encased upon back of her gautlets, and summoned the innate power of her blue flames. Though it had always been a defensive or non-harmful power she possessed... it certainly have changed since she added these new attachments.

Drawing deep from within her soul, Spearfrost gathered the raw power of her Blue aura fires. Burning and growing around the blades of her fingertips, that slightly shook from the intensity. Dropping her hands to her sides... well aware of the steps she was taking towards Daemon. She kept a steady pace and a focused stare at his every movement... ready for anything...*

"Don't tell me that's all you've got. I won't deny you the opportunity after waiting so long to fight me. Dispite what you might think... if I'm going to die... I don't care what you are, I will gladly take you with me...!"

*She muffled a cough lighty... though insignificant right now, she kept her pace ready...*

The only thing he had left to defend with, his tail, was poised and ready to lash out if the wolf decided it wanted to attack again.*

::Cerebus landed with a thud and several cracks. The dozens of wholes in his body lowered its structural integrity, immensely. If he punched to hard, or kicked too strong he'd find a body part literally crumbling away. He had to find a way to get close to his opponent or...his opponent could...

That was when Gouken fell through the floor. Cerebus had seen alot of battle tactics. His mind searched through his history like a computer scanning through its files. The portals opened around him, and that was when the final realization hit. If Gouken opened portals around him, then obvious he planned to perform an attack some sort fromt these portals. But if his only goal was to attack from multiple angles, then why would he himself vanish....unless...yes...unless he planned to attack himself! And since there wasnt a portal opening in front of the wolf...then...he was behind him!

Cerebus dove forward, just as the burning bolts hit. As he soared backwards, he flipped the Zero around so that the neck of the guitar pointed directly at Goukens arm as it reached for him. The arm was long, it would reach...unless. Cerebus cocked the neck of the guitar like one would c**k a shotgun. His shadow flame in seconds bathed over the guiar. He then ripped a chord on the guitar. The vibration triggered the internal mechanism of the guitar, and almost instantly from the neck of the guitar fired a shadow flame fireball. It was about 4inchs around and aimed directly at the center of Goukens palm as it reached for Cerebus.

Gouken had multiple threats. Since Cerebus did not take the burning bolts of lighting, then like Gouken would be attacked by his own lightning when his hand reached foward. And not but a split second later, the shadow flame ball would fly forward. The ball burned with the heat of Cerebus's hands, a full 2000 degress, but, due to the fact that the ball was a infact a ball, and concentrated, it would burn at a horrid 3000 degrees. Enough to destroy Goukens right arm entirely, by burning it to ash, from the hand to the shoulder.

But there was another notice, throughout the fight Cerebus had felt a familar tingle in the back of his neck. A telepathic tingle. Now, the wolf couldnt speak for Gouken, but he knew that for the past over telepathy had been something he used literally all the time. It was his only means of conversation and communication. The wolf was quite the skilled telepath, and so, he had made sure, that before he jumped away from Goukens burning bolts, that he raised his psychic shielding. Basically making his mind, invisible to those who would try to spy. As if he had no mind. His thoughts were his own.::

on the ground appears a dark shadowed figure
and his faint voice echoes throughout the area:
My heart my soul all as one
in tears and fears until im done
my hope and tears are felt till death
another race of man will infest

suddenly he disappears while his voice continues:
why wont this race just end
why cant they just forget
how can they stand to live
what is their purpose
