The door slammed shut and force Deitric backwards, as he'd been standing in the doorway.
Ow.
The warrior tumbled back, rolling into a standing position again, turning to look at Byrant. Why did his face seem so familiar.. Had it been the same one Chen had shown him in the picture? He squinted his eyes, trying to put it together. He'd taken a bit of a knock on the head during his fight.
"Because, I was hired to investigate the disappearance of the people here. I saw the GodQueen, and I know someone killed her. I didn't see who, but I saw the aftermath. You don't have to believe me.. But that's the truth," he offered calmly, standing near the door, his face impassive and calm. He tried to ignore the feeling around him - the heaviness in the air.

Xehart watched as Bryant walked away, and the zombies began advancing upon him. Most people would begin to panic in a situation like this, perhaps even break down, after all, being surrounded by zombies is not the best situation. Xehart however, was unlike other men, in fact, Xehart was not even a man in the sense of a human. He had no fear of these creatures, they were below him.
As soon as the zombies moved at him, Xehart swung his free arm around him, which quickly extended in a mass of muscle and flesh, acting like a whip. Xehart brought the whip crashing round at the zombies coming close to him, before swinging his sword at the closest zombie robot, aiming to cleave it in two.
If that went well enough, Xehart would begin to move towards where Bryant had fled, if not, Xehart would simply have to pull out heavier moves.

"I'm going into the sewers," he relays to Deitric. "Catch up whenever you can."

((You have nine posts left Slifer before you pass out. Chen has 8. Read the announcements))
It was strange though. Slifer would find himself weakening even as the zombies stayed the same. And they weren't so easily defeated because of it.
And to make matter worse...
Without warning, the earth shifts, tilting everything towards the Palace Dome and sinking the Dome itself a few inches. The entire city is now on a slight incline, and round objects will roll towards the city's center if pushed.
Needless to say, there was much cracking of concrete.
Leaving Deitric to fall towards Bryant, who was looking at Deitric with an evil look in his eyes. He wanted him to come closer.
The doors to the throne room remained closed however as the earth rocked and then sunk into the earth even further. Bryant remained standing.

((No. It wouldn't. The doors are still sealed and you are in a different room.
You are in a different room than Deitric. And you are on count 8 as well, Bleu))

((That didn't really say how the zombies fared from that attack, but ok...))
Xehart brought his whip around for a second bout, this time bony spurs were forming along the mass of muscle and skin, this time aiming for the midsection of the zombies, hoping the added momentum of a second strike would be enough to do some damage to them.
At the same time, his sword was hacking at anything that got close to him. His strikes were getting a little weaker with every blow, something he couldn't quite explain. He was hacking into the next closest zombie at the time that the ground began to tilt.
As the ground began to crack and shift, Xehart stumbled slightly, causing his whip strike to falter midswing. It would only have got through half the targets he hoped it would go through, causing much frustration for the Dead-man.
((How many zombies are around Xehart exactly?))

Screw this!
Deitric let out a howl as he was thrown forward, but not one of fear-- it was a cry more akin to those made on the warpath. If he wasn't going to get out of the place by a conventional door, he'd make his own, even if he had to get through the crazy-assed Byrant who seemed to be able to remain standing with the odd shift of the building.
The sudden tilt thew him forward, barreling through the air, right at Byrant. It was now or never, and Deitric needed to get away from the Palace as soon as possible. It was feeling worse by the second - he couldn't stay there any longer, or else he was going to be forced to give in to the oppressive weight that the Anti-Field was generating.
"MOVE!"
Deitric's right and left arms both shot forward as the distance between he and Byrant closed. He'd never quite let the rush of battle or the readiness leave him, and now that came to be an advantage. Almost like fire, lightning swirled to life around his out-thrown fists, enveloping his entire body, leaving a trail behind him as if he were a comet. He was forced to adapt - this wasn't exactly something he'd tried yet.
At first, it looked like he was shooting for a Maelstrom Spiral - aiming to blow Byrant away with a hard punch. But he was using both fists, and now he was spinning like a drill, bulleting through the air, both fists aimed for Byrant's chest. If he had his feet on the ground, he'd of been spinning like a top, but flying through the air, it changed the way things worked. His speed had picked up drastically, and his spinning form was aiming to smash into Byrant and beyond - into and out through the wall, which had hopefully been weakened.
His entire body was alive with the static power, lighting up the entire room in a moment of cackling fury - he was getting out of this place, one way, or another. Tapping into his power gave him a rush, but he could still feel it - he was weakening. He just hoped he could get out of there before he was over-taken.

((Actually, it didn't affect them since the earthquake happened as they attacked.))
The five zombies began regrouping and seemed even stronger now than they had a moment ago. And they were still after Xehart. Five of them, swarming him in such a manner as to throw themselves upon him, clawing and scraping.
Inside
Bryant had however been affected by the shifting of earth. Enough so that he activated one of his own abilities.
So by the time that Deitric attacked, and collided with Bryant, it would indeed be an collision. And immovable object met by unstoppable force. Except in this case, they simply nullified each other. Bryant remained standing and looked down slightly at Deitric.
"Was that supposed to do something?"

Xehart's frustration began to reach a climax. Things should not be this difficult. His whip began to shrink in length, and at the same time it began to swell, transforming to pure bone, essentially giving him a mace of bone on the end of his arm.
He also brought his sword up, and as soon as the first zombie crashed down upon him, thrust it straight up, and through the zombie's skull. That would hopefully immobilize one of them. He also watched for any other zombies to get closer, and as soon as one did, struck it straight in the head with the mace, felling another with a bit of luck.
Xehart was also peddling backwards on the ground, trying to get up and away from the small group. Now would be an optimal time to abandon the pursuit and regroup, especially with this sudden fatigue coming on...

Damn..
The man hadn't budged. In all honesty, Deitric would have preferred that Byrant had dodged. But he hadn't - instead, he'd taken the blast full on in the chest. Well, that didn't bode well for the tribal warrior. When his attack halted, his body was abruptly flung over Byrant - all the power was still there but it had no where to go, since Byrant didn't seem to be moving an inch. He continued past the statue of a man, through the air. He was aiming still to get to the wall and try his luck with getting through.
He didn't waste breath or time speaking, either. No reason for him to bother with that.

VROOM VROOM!
The truck blasted through the last of the agricultural roads from the central field, moving with a mighty speed downhill, and straight for the palace structure. Caesar grimaced as they entered the anti-field, but kept the truck moving undeterred. "Alright, we want to go inside, right?"
The front of the palace was fittingly palatial: which likely included tall, vaulted entrances. Caesar was ridiculously confident in his driving, and intended to take the truck directly towards the basin of the now massive depression that was the city of Frostschild: directly into the basin, over the cracked entryway, and through those large entrances.
It was only once inside that he would begin to slow-- and then would see a number of the robozombies locked in a dance with a man [Xehart]. Conveniently grouped, too, should Xehart move out of the way and allow Caesar to run them down.
RAMMING SPEED!
