Helix quickly skimmed through the reams of data that Little Bird had assembled from the diagnostic. He stopped as the schematic for the starboard container docking system popped up, and the annoying red light of a problem appeared. Apparently the clamp had failed to latch in the diagnostic.

Quickly he pulled out a commlink. "Jag, this Helix. Hold off on that second can a moment. Diagnostics show a failure in the clamp. Give me a second to fix it."

That done Helix grabbed his tool belt and ran down the hallway. The Captain wouldn't be happy if this wasn't fixed in a jiffy. He grabbed a turbolift down and ran to the starboard clamp.

Dropping his tools by the docking clamp he knelt over the well used piece of machinery, and began searching for the problem. Running a hand around the edge of clamp's rim he stopped and rubbed a bit of debris between his hands. Pulling it out he looked at it and frowned. "Why is their grain in the track?"

With a sigh he pulled out a can of high pressure water an set to blasting the grain out of it's hiding place. Finished he hit activation stud for the clamp and watched to make sure it worked. That done he pulled out his commlink, "Fixed."

That done Helix turned to Little Bird. "Lets see what else needs fixed."

"Dis vay," Mareal stated, as she yanked the man down to the left again. Hiding next to a dumpster, she tried to let the pair catch their breath (although she was far from winded).

"If you don't vant help next time, just say so. I von't help you," she responded, although she didn't really mean it. The training as a child still rung through her ears, and the war had left it's scar on her. She would try to help as much as she could.

"You know him? No, no. Forget dat. I vant a flight off planet. I vant to go to Dathomir. Dink du can help vith dat?"

Listening to his Comn, Jag frowned as the engineer told him of the trouble, then he motioned the guys at the Tractor beam controls to wait.
Jag waited until he got the Engineer's all clear.
"Copy that. Jag out." He ended the transmission then waved for the loading team to resume manuevering the Cargo Container into place.

"Mon chere, tis rock, Dathomir... Ah dun know it. Nor do ah 'ave a ship fer yah," Xan replied, his breath caught back up. He was about to continue on, but he heard something peak his interest.

As he tried to hide, he hissed, "'here be mah Matilda? Not much 'o a blasta'slinga'."

The hunter tapped a couple times on his helmet, though Xan couldn't see. He could only assume the man would just pass them by. Too bad they had thermal signatures, one which even Xan's luck couldn't bypass for fact.

"Come on out Xan. You might just be a local bounty, but it'll pay my bartab quite nicely."

Xan looked at the woman a second time. "Ah can't promise yah Dathomir, but ah scratch ya back, ya scratch mine 'till we find it, coo'?"

Niomie jerked upright when her elbow slipped off the railing, she had been day dreaming and had not been aware of the passage of time, looking around she noticed that it was twilight and saw the twinkle of lights from the port, reflecting off of the water. A few people had gathered at the railing with her to watch, mostly women with their small children who still found wonder and fascination every where they would look. She turned and threaded her way through the small crowd, making her way to where Kaleb lay curled up like a baby sleeping on one of the benches. She reached out and poked him in the shoulder.
“Hay, wake up. We’re here. Let’s beat the crowds and go get ready to disembark.”

Gairus slouched at the clamp controls and started to slap his knees lightly. When the order was given, he would activate the clamp.

((Sorry))

Kalin turned to Blikk and gave him a thumbs-up. He had safety goggles and earmuffs on, in case something went wrong. When Jag gave him the nod, he activated the tractor and engulfed the cargo with it's beam. Slowly, but surely, he lifted it up off the ground and reeled it in close to the ship. As soon as it was in range, he yelled to Blikk to grab it before it fell.

Gairus responded with a swift push of a button, and the clamp shut on the cargo container flawlessly. "Good to go." he said, returning a thumbs up.

Seeing the container locked into place, Jag called up Kalin.
"Ok. Make sure the container is secure, then move to the other side of the ship. I'll drive the other container around to that side for loading."
Jag walked over to the repulsor truck and climbed in. reving it up he drove the heavy lifter over to the Starboard side of the ship and parked the vehicle. Getting out he scampered across the large container and began undoing container restraints, casting them aside as he released the container from the bed of the hauler.
Climbing back down the cab of the vehicle, he picked up his com and called Kalin again.
"Kalin, this is Jag. Ready on my side. Take it away."

Kalin didn't even need to hear his commlink to know he was good to go on the other crate. He waited for Blikks thumbs up, then moved out of the hatch-doored room into an almost identical one, adjacent to the first. He sat at the controls and waited for Blikk to get to his controls.

All clear. Up she goes.

He followed the same procedures of engulfing the cargo in the tractorbeam. He began to lift it, but his hand cramped and the cargo lurched violently to one side as his whole arm tensed up involitarily. He muttered some profanities in Corellian, smashing his hand against his leg to get it back to normal. A few seconds later, it wasn't recovered, but maliable enough to force it around the yoke. He brought it up and waited for Blikk to grab a hold of it.

"Eh...ehh...hmm? Oh, yeah...Well, I've got to fetch my bike, so I'll meet you once they let off ok?" Pulling himself up he run a hand through his bedhair and smiled to her, then moved off towards the lower-deck stairs.

Soon the boat docked and let off the passengers, and then the vehicles. Kaleb, on his chopper, eased on out and up to where the girl was waiting."Hey there lil'lady, looking for a ride?" He winked and gave a stupid grin, then started chuckling."No need for a helm this time, I can tell you don't like them. Just hold on though."

As the cargo began to lurch, he squinted his eyes and focused. "Okay...aaaaaand..." He activated the clamp, but his timing was a little off. The crate received a large scratch curving upwards on the side from the mis-calculation. Gairus seethed inwardly, and regained focus. He waiting for the crate to stop wobbling as much. It started to slow down. "This is it" he thought, "I can do this." Time seemed to slow down as he activated the clamp once more. The crate was now secure. Gairus leaned back and took a deep breath. "Say Kalin, you think Jag'll mind a little scratch? I doubt the actual cargo is damaged." said Gairus, hoping his first (meaningful) task on the Ruusan wouldn't be his last.

As Jag was surpervising he heard the shriek of metal on metal and his brow furroed.
He picked up his com and dialed up Kalin.
"Kalin, You tell Blikk that his a** is grass. Both of you get your shebs out here and help the droids load the rest of the internal cargo."
Jag wasnt pleased. If the buyer saw that scar on his containers, it could mean lost revenue for Xan and the Ruusan. No one wanted to ship cargo with a freighter who couldnt handle their containers.
Jag drove the repulsor hauler back around and let its crew take it away. He proceeded to direct the droids in the loading of the cargo as the lights in the Hangar came on, occasionally keeping an eye on the docking bay door.

Gairus couldn't help but overhear Jag on Kalin's comm. He leaned forward and put his palm on his forehead

Well... hah... I ain't gonna lie to you Blikk. But it's nothin' a few shots of Corellian spiced ale can't fix. Don't worry, you'll live.

He picked up his commlink and nodded.

Alright, Boss. Be right down.

He shrugged at Blikk and motioned him to follow.

((sorry bout the mix up))
