She watched him in awe, her face starting to glow in the red light. She flipped her hair over her face so she would be less noticeable lying in the leaves. Though she was lying, her whole body was taut, ready to move quickly if something happened.

Dark's eyes shoot open as he turns his head to the side allowing her to see a hint of a smirk in his eyes before he disappeared out of her sight in a flash of dark flames.

Scarlet stared, first amazed than wary. She quietly turned over onto her back, watching the skies, her blade in her hand, waiting. Her breath hardly even made a sound. ...Was that a smirk she had seen in his eyes?

"For someone who loves to sneak up on others, you are quite open to attacks." Dark's voice seemed to have come from directly next to Scarlet's ear.

"I'm always open," she whispered mischeviously, not even flinching, though her hand flexed around the handle of her blade.

"Is that...so." Fingers slowly lift their way out of the shadow given by Scarlet's face with the dark flames already appearing out of the tips ready to breath in the open air.

She watched the fingers and the flame without saying anything, but shivered without meaning to.

Dark stopped and jumped out of the shadow of the tree and looked down at Scarlet. "Hmm....if I go any further....you'll be killed." His fist was clenching from the want to fight more. His eyes were starting to cloud over as he began to lose control over his body.

She watched in half facination half horror, but tried to keep her face clear of all emotion. She opened her mouth to say something, but no sound came out. She tried again. "I'm already dead. I can't exactly die again....though I imagine if I could, it would be awful and very painful." Her fangs grew out of her mouth and she pointed at them. "What drives you to fight so?"

Sousha had recoiled and stepped a few feet back at the apearns of the new figuer. 'They're coming out of the wood-works it seems' she thought to herself as she watched the to fight, evaluating each ones powers. She made herself ready to move, to help Scarlet, as the other seemed to be losing his grasp on himself.

{{Yeah we were xD}} Scarlet glanced at Sousha, her eyes pleading for help but saying nothing as she waited for Dark to do his worst.

Chains started to come out of Dark's writhing around like demented bull whips. He yearned for a fight but he wanted to resist the urge to kill at the same time. If he lost himself here, there was no telling what kind of devestation would commence from his mind departing his body. Without even commanding them, the chains drew back and shot out towards the others in the area. A group had already turned towards Sousha.

Scarlet merely rolled to the side, but quickly, and swung herself onto a limb of a tree, out of the way of those horrible chains.

Haku had watched the fight, unsure why this was happening, but he had enough. He drew his sword, and stepped into the battle, while a stream of shadows advanced, ensnaring and eliminating any chains they came in contact with. Haku spread his wings, and waited.

Sousha saw the chains flying at her and dodged out of their way. She throw a small blade at the links in the chain, in hopes to stick the chains to the ground, if even for a moment.
