Check the english trailer at gamespot. Its coming out on March 28th.
and as for when the game takes place, check Suikox's "Georg Prime" info. But be wary of spoilers. lol

Wow....any information on a release date...in this case...year...month would be pushing it as it looks like it might not even be out in Japan yet. sweatdrop

But seriously....that soon? Hah, I bet it'll be delayed for sure.
Edit 2: Just saw trailer...and map roaming is back?! Yay!! That was one drawback with III...wasn't able to freely roam around....and IV...well you were on your ship most of the time...kinda lame...I hope V brings back the nice map roaming that was in I and II. 3nodding
Is what I'm seeing true? Is that a female main character? eek
And...and voices...actual voiced dialogue... eek *about to have a complete spasm of excitement* xd

I also wanted a female Tenkai star. That w ould so pwn the soul. What is with Konami and their seemingly sexist ways? I mean, how sexist can you get with a character from the "Queendom" of Falena who's suppose to be a "woman"

march 28?!?! but... but... the-magicbox.com website said march 1: the-magicbox.comAAAAAGGGGHH!!! I'm tormented with all this waiting!!! I've already decided to take a one week break from the office just to play this game! crying And... KH2 rocks! My friend and I have been playing the japanese version and -- @.@ -- everything looks fantastic. Once you get to know the "reaction button", you'll worship it. Back to Suikoden V... although Viki, Lorelai, Killey and Georg Prime are already confirmed as returning characters, how come they haven't mentioned Jeanne yet? They usually show her and Viki as soon as they announce the games. But now, we only saw Viki...
