That's hard to say. I like them both. I've seen the anime more recently that I've read the manga, though. Hmm... I'd probably go with the manga. It's a little more in-depth than the anime.

Kibby47 OHSHC anime or manga? Which do you prefer and why? I LOVE both!!! I like the anime b/c it's hilarious! but so is the manga. and I like that the manga continues the story.

Hm... Well I saw the anime first so I guess I got used to what they looked like in that, so it seemed really weird when I saw them in the manga. So I guess anime.

I prefer the manga, but that could be because that's what I read first. I think the art is better in the manga though

I like both. I like the manga because like all the little side notes. But I like the anime because I like to see everything in color and moving. ^w^

Ooh tough question... confused I like both, but I think I prefer the manga, just cause it has more stuff in it than the anime, but i still do like the anime, cause it's fun to see everything animated! 4laugh

i prefer the manga hands down because its continuous and has yet to disapoint me with an upseting ending

I prefer the manga just because it it is longer but if the anime went longer I think I would prefer it because I think the characters look a little better. Also the ending to anime was really awesome even if it went against the manga.

Hmm... I downloaded all anime episodes from internet, I have watched them to 25th episode... I fell in love with the anime. I haven't read the manga, so I really can't answer, but It looks kinda messy or something... Oh, i really can't explain. I'm sure that they both have their good and bad sides. n_n

gahh.
well, ive seen all the anime and i loved it.
when i began reading the manga, i got confused on which i like better.
some things were portrayed nicer in the anime than the manga.
but i love how the manga goes farther and deeper into everything.
ive skipped around in the manga a lot and im trying to read it all at once.
i still love it though.

I think i have to go with manga because it actually shows that haruhi and tamaki like each other! Haruhi + Tamaki= heart but im not saying that the anime ish bad, i love it too so ^-^
