Song: On&On (English Version) by: sNoW Link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k546H937EtUOh my Glaux! I just discovered this song by sNoW! *squee* I love sNoW's songs! Anyhow, here are some lyrics: "I’ll be here If you’ll be there I wanna see what’s left to see I can’t imagine myself living long enough to see the 22nd century, all I know is that what isn’t fair, that we care, or in the air we breathe is all going to stop, we hope something will not."

Artist: Nightwish Song: Amaranth Album: Dark Passion Play (2007)
Lyrics: Baptised with a perfect name The doubting one by heart Alone without himself
War between him and the day Need someone to blame In the end, little he can do alone
You believe but what you see You receive but what you give
Caress the one, the Never-Fading Rain in your heart - the tears of snow-white sorrow Caress the one, the hiding amaranth In a land of the daybreak
Apart from the wandering pack In this brief flight of time we reach For the ones, whoever dare
You believe but what you see You receive but what you give
Caress the one, the Never-Fading Rain in your heart - the tears of snow-white sorrow Caress the one, the hiding amaranth In a land of the daybreak
Reaching, searching for something untouched Hearing voices of the Never-Fading calling
Caress the one, the Never-Fading Rain in your heart - the tears of snow-white sorrow Caress the one, the hiding amaranth In a land of the daybreak
I'm a pretty big Nightwish fan... meaning I was kind of upset when they got rid of Tarja, their previous lead singer.

Otulissa Nightwish rocks! Amaranth is my favorite song by them. XD I call it the theme song for the book Blade of Fire by Stuart Hill. Love the Icemark Chronicles. heart I've been listening to them for over a year now.... I'd say one of my favorite songs is "Wish I Had an Angel". 3nodding Ah, yes, the Icemark Chronicles... I'm currently reading the first book in that series. *Doesn't have book on computer desk so can't tell you title right now* Currently listening to: Artist: Within Temptation Song: Angels Album: The Silent Force (2004) Lyrics: Sparkling angel, I believed You were my saviour in my time of need. Blinded by faith, I couldn't hear All the whispers, the warnings so clear.
I see the angels, I'll lead them to your door. There's no escape now, no mercy no more. No remorse 'cause I still remember The smile when you tore me apart.
You took my heart, Deceived me right from the start. You showed me dreams, I wished they'd turn into real. You broke a promise and made me realise It was all just a lie.
Sparkling angel, I couldn't see Your dark intentions, your feelings for me. Fallen angel, tell me why, What is the reason, the thorn in your eye? I see the angels, I'll lead them to your door There's no escape now No mercy no more No remorse cause I still remember
The smile when you tore me apart You took my heart, Deceived me right from the start. You showed me dreams, I wished they turn into real. You broke the promise and made me realise. It was all just a lie. Could have been forever. Now we have reached the end.
This world may have failed you, It doesn't give you a reason why-- You could have chosen a different path in life.
The smile when you tore me apart. You took my heart, Deceived me right from the start. You showed me dreams, I wished they turn into real. You broke the promise and made me realise. It was all just a lie. Could have been forever. Now we have reached the end.

Quietus by Epica from their album Consign to Oblivion
Lyrics: The culprit, you act before thinking Caught in your ignorant sin And lying to your own reflection You thought you could hide
Deprived of my own innocence, denied
The infinity of recurring torment Your comeuppance
See, hear the torture inside Devouring what was left of my pride You thought it's not going to happen to you Thought you could hide
Deprived of my own innocence, denied
The infinity of recurring torment Your comeuppance Dwelling in a mind, mixed up and Your regret has spread over the sea
Deprived of my own innocence, denied
The infinity of recurring torment Your comeuppance Dwelling in a mind, mixed up and Your regret has spread over the sea

Epica is like Nightwish and After Forever, in the fact it's heavy metal with a Soprano Lady singer who's got an epic voice.
Meanwhile, ON TOPIC:
Far Cry by Rush from their latest album Snakes and Arrows
Lyrics: Pariah dogs and wandering madmen Barking at strangers and speaking in tongues The ebb and flow of tidal fortune Electrical changes are charging up the young
It's a far cry from the world we thought we'd inherit It's a far cry from the way we thought we'd share it You can almost feel the current flowing You can almost see the circuits blowing
One day I feel I'm on top of the world And the next it's falling in on me I can get back on I can get back on One day I feel I'm ahead of the wheel, And the next it's rolling over me I can get back on I can get back on
Whirlwind life of faith and betrayal Rise in anger, fall back, and repeat Slow degrees on the dark horizon Full moon rising is ever at your feet
It's a far cry from the world we thought we'd inherit It's a far cry from the way we thought we'd share it You can almost feel the current flowing You can almost see the circuits blowing
One day I feel I'm on top of the world And the next it's falling in on me I can get back on I can get back home One day I feel I'm ahead of the wheel, And the next it's rolling over me I can get back on I can get back on
It's a far cry from the world we thought we'd inherit You can almost see the circuit growing You can almost feel the planets glowing
One day I feel I'm on top of the world And the next it's falling in on me I can get back on I can get back on One day I feel I'm ahead of the wheel, And the next it's rolling over me I can get back on I can get back on
One day I fly through a crack in the sky And the next it's falling in on me I can get back on I can get back on...

They say they're "Progressive Rock". It's probably the longest-standing Canadian Rock band, considering their 35+ years of music, and counting.
Today's entry is: Vital Signs by Rush from their Rush in Rio cd.
Lyrics: Unstable condition: A symptom of life In mental, And environmental
Change Atmospheric disturbance-- The feverish flux Of human interface And interchange
The impulse is pure-- Sometimes our circuits get shorted, By external interference
Signals get crossed-- And the balance distorted By internal incoherence
A tired mind become a shape-shifter Everybody need a mood lifter Everybody need reverse polarity Everybody got mixed feelings About the function and the form Everybody got to deviate From the norm
An ounce of perception, A pound of obscure. Process information at half speed. Pause, rewind, replay, Warm memory chip, Random sample, hold the one you need.
Leave out the fiction-- The fact is; This friction Will only be worn by persistence
Leave out conditions-- Courageous convictions Will drag the dream into existence
A tired mind become a shape-shifter Everybody need a soft filter Everybody need reverse polarity Everybody got mixed feelings About the function and the form Everybody got to elevate From the norm

Go For Soda by Kim Mitchell from the album Akimbo Alogo
Lyrics: so we're in one of our blue moods you wanna have it your way and I want it mine all this debating going 'round in our blue mood makes me thirst for love Might as well go for a soda...Nobody hurts and nobody cries Might as well go for a soda...Nobody drowns and nobody dies life seems to be a bomb inside your head well the bomb in my head is love all this debating going 'round in our blue mood makes me thirsty for love Might as well go for a soda...Nobody hurts and nobody cries Might as well go for a soda...Nobody drowns and nobody dies Might as well go for a soda...It's better than slander It's better than lies Might as well go for a soda...Nobody hurts and nobody cries
