A shiver rand down Liah's spine as they started off for the dead forest. She noticed that Damon looked irritated which made her wonder. He snorted, as if try to rid himself of a foul oder. "What's wrong Damon?" she questioned.
'The smell.' He said, disgust clearly showing in his voice. 'It smells as if an army of corpses are decomposing, worse even.' He shook his head. 'It's a smell I won't soon forget.'
Liah seemed confused for a moment, until she noticed a musty oder in the air. She wasn't sure of what it reminded her, but it was somewhat familiar. It mustive been much worse for Damon, since his nose was far more sensitive than hers. Shivering, she noticed how eerie the forest was getting. Now that she thought about it, there didn't seem to be any animals rustling about in the under brush. This gave her goosebumps, causing the hair on her neck to prickle. "This is unnatural." She whispered to no one in particular.

"Ah" she said "But asking the right questions might help to keep others alive" she said as she drew her short sword. It would be easier to use that way. "This place...' She shivered. "Is going to be rather interesting" She then stopped talking and began to listen carfully, as she walked on her eyes searching everywhere

Tori's mind snapped back to the present time when she heard Ramiel. She jumped to her feet and threw her pack across one shoulder but kept the axe in her hands. It looked pretty strange, the axe being larger then a small halfling herself. Tori silently listened to the group talk about the forest. The smell had reached her nose and was quite awful. She tried her best to keep calm and was succeeding, but her grip on her axe was still pretty tight. What a creepy place

Gia fell silent, letting other talk now. The hood of her cape shadowed her face, while the fabric that wrapped around the hilt of her longsword was beginning to force through. She couldn't hide the face that the hilt of her sword was beginning to shine even brighter now, only by the very small gem placed there to work with Gia in particular. Her right hand would fumble in the belt pouch tied at the side of her waist. She'd pull out a dark blue fabric and would remove the previous fabric that wasn't strong enough to hold the light back and replace it with the dark blue fabric. This concealed the light from her sword. Her eyes were looking straight ahead keeping pace. Gia didn't know how long the forest would keep them ensnared, but the stench was strong to make it feel like the forest was sure to keep them trapped there.

Sintariun's eyes widened as she saw the forest and winced as she felt the pain of the forest. Grasping Damon's fur tighter, the elf nearly shrunk in on herself. Looking at a nearby tree, the elf had a gut-wrenching feeling that this would happen to her forest should no one try and save it.
Tucking herself closer, Sintariun shivered against Damon fearful of her surroundings. Pausing for a moment she ran ahead of the three and put her hand to the trunk of a dead tree only to recoil quickly as if the tree had burned her. Corrupted, that's the core of this place. Something corrupted this forest.

Jason was merely picking up the rear with his bow in a ready position. His sharp eyes trailing behind them as he would occasionally look back to see if another creature had appeared from the depths of the dead forest. There were shadows but mostly came from the trees or dying to dead brush having been burnt. He was a loner... Someone of no real importance of this part of the journey so if he was to die, it may not even matter to the others. With these thoughts, his determination to prove himself wrong rose. He knew for a fact what was in these woods... And how futile his archery would be against them in a time of dire crisis.

Gia fell back a bit, this time not to make small talk. She had left her low bow behind. The one she had made for her to use, but she had a quiver of arrows that she did not leave on the island. Gia always came with something, whether arrows enhanced with properties for firing or her sword. Gia had to rely on her sword and her magic if combat came up, but Jason she looked at was seen as someone that could use the quiver of rrow to his use. "Will you have use of these?" Gia reach to the back of her waist and would unlatch the large sized quiver of arrows showing it to Jason. She held the unopened quiver for Jason to take hold of, obviously the had been given a little of her own magic a long time ago. Gia just didn't have her bow with her for this journey. The bow had to be re-stringed as the old string was worn and she was told to find a suitable string for her bow would take a very long time. "They've been infused with some of my magic, but they should be of use. There is arrows of water, fire, and wind. All three should be of use, even in this place." Gia wasn't positive on that note, even in her voice. Her hopes was that these creatures burned like any others or had problems against weapons of magic.

Zen kept an eye out for anything undeadish. He kept one hand on the hilt of his shethed sword incase anything popped out. He looked around. "This is by far one of the creepiest places ever." he said to no one in particular. The stench of the forest was revolting, and Zen felt like he was going to vomit several times. He thought about what Ramiel had said. That everything in the forest that was living was now just a walking corpse. The thought disturbed him. Things that moved around that weren't alive was a confusing and disturbing thought.

Seirei had almost fallen asleep floating in amidst the trees. Being partly undead himself the place didn't affect him much, though it did feel evil which kept him alert. He heard faint talking moving towards him which made him curious. He was currently a cloud but he could still move so he condensed into a thick mist and start floating towards the voices. "Hmm... perhaps I haven't missed them after all," he said, drifting closer to the group, slowly condensing so he could reform. He could see the group of people and he could tell these were the ones he'd been searching for. He finished reforming a little over a hundred feet away and his purple aura was a bit brighter in this gloomy place.

Sensing something, Sintariun's gaze snapped to the unknown presence. Thanks to her elven abilities she could see a figure in the distance. Blinking at seeing an unfamiliar aura, the elf pondered on the best course of action. Seeing that the creature took on no aggressive moves, Sintariun took a few steps toward the being (Seirei) and waved to it. Hoping she wasn't making a mistake, the elf swallowed her fear and waited for a response instead of bolting back closer to the group.

Seirei could see one of the members from the group moving towards him and then saw a hand waving at him. He stuffed his hands in his pockets and started heading for the group, noticing that he was glowing more than usual. "That's strange... must be this place..." he figured, mumbling to himself. He took a moment to piece together his sentence then yelled at the group. "If your the group taking on that quest, sorry I'm late, otherwise forget you even saw me." Seirei looked about the group, observing each of the members of it and was surprised to see so many. After glancing around the group he focussed back on the one closest to him, an elf by the looks of her. If this isn't the right group then I might have to find out why they're traveling together. he thought, approaching the elf at a regular pace, his aura flickering slightly as he walked.

((Edited...badly...>.<)) Asteria seemed almost unaffected by the dead forest, choosing instead to be on the lookout. The branches of the forest were thick and she could tell right away that she wouldn't be able to take off after entering. Sensing a presence close by, she immediately warned Liah. 'A presence lingers. Be careful...'
After the new being spoke, Liah walked up next to Sintariun. "This is the right group, if you're looking to go on the quest..." She said softly, unsure if her eyes were deceiving her or not.

Sintariun glanced at her side to see Damon, Liah, and Asteria. Seeing the figure head towards the party slowly, Sintariun quickly thought of the possibilities of what purpose the person was here. Hearing his shout, the elf flinched slightly, she couldn't understand him but it wasn't smart to yell in a place like this, might attract unwanted guests. Seeing the aura spit occasionally, Sintariun thought, maybe he's as nervous as we are. Putting her hand down and raising it to her chest she said, Sintariun then looked at the man and waited patiently with her amethyst eyes flickering faintly.

Zen noticed something out of the corner of his eye. It was some kind of purple aurora. He looked over and saw that he wasn't the only one who had noticed this. Sintariun and Asteria had noticed as well. It think we've found something. Or something found us." he said to the group. Sintariun had already intoroduced herself to the person. Zen couldn't tell what this thing giving off the aurora was though.

((Edited))
Seirei watched another figure and a couple animals join with the first. It seemed that he hadn't been heard but he could hear what the elf said easily. Must be a name he thought, stopping and letting his arm dissipate he formed his name with the mist, which was glowing eerily purple. "This place is amplifying my powers I guess... makes sense really," he muttered, leaving the mist in his name for a little longer then returning it to his arms. Such a strange feeling he thought as he continued moving towards the group. He would be within earshot soon and then he could simply speak.
