"Hey, I believe you, at least." He said, shaking his head at Alex with a slight smile on his face.

"Yeah, I don't think that would work out so well." Chris said, walking back up the stairs, peering over at Naota from the doorway.
"Hey, why don't you come chat with us?" He asked, a friendly tone in his voice, and a smile on his face.

Naota stood at the top of the basement stairs. "You guys going to stop picking on me?"
Alex giggled. "Of course. No more picking on you. You're a man."

"Whatever..." Naota slowly walked down the stairs and stood in front of Chris.
Alex continued to giggle and whispers so only Chris could hear. "Tasty snack, tasty snack..."

Chris shook his head, gently shoving Alex to the side.
"Nngh, stop it." He muttered, looking at Naota after.
"So, ah, how old are you anyways?
What sort of things do you like?" He asked politely, trying to start some conversation.

Alex giggled. "No fun..." He went back to muttering. "Look at that pale neck. Imagine the blood running through those veins."
Naota didn't hear Alex. "Ah. I'll be 18 in a few days. And I'm into fashion, video games, and rock music."

Chris bit his lip gently, trying to ignore Alex as he listened to Naota.
"Ah, the fashion part reminds me of my brother, actually.
He used to crossdress a lot, and he was into music as well.
Maybe you two would get along if we ever met up with him." He said, smiling lightly.

Chris nodded at Naota, smiling a bit still.
"Yeah, he's more laid back and quieter than I am, but, you have some things in common which is good."
Chris looked at Alex a bit, muttering, "You can torment in some other way later, alright?
Just not right now."
