As Tanu targeted the barrel, she realized that the thing was far too heavy for her to lift. "Hmph," the fiery teen grunted as Shin wished her good luck. 'Coky b*****d,' Tanu thought to herself as he walked away from the dojo to gather the things he was prized with from Yuki. Tanu didn't realize that Kiba hadn't learned all of his techniques. Tanu hadn't completely finished learning Kawamiri since she hadn't used it in battle, but Yuki was now putting her through the test now. As she went towards the barrel, Yuki warned her not to ruin any of her things. "Yea, Yea! I'm not Kazuma!" Tanu yelled back at her, aggravated that Yuki was stuck on Tanu breaking things. It was a good thing she didn't see the deep kunai gash in the side of her dojo. "I'm ready to test again," the girl said, walking up the steps of the dojo once again and taking off her shoes as she entered, remembering how unprepared she was last time and how she got stabbed in the arm by a senbon needle, which Tanu thought was rather harsh!

Kiba heaved a sigh of relief as he heard Yuki give him the green light on his sword technique. Though not quite the dark eyed Raiken's personal best, it was certainly still abouve average. "Ah, good-bye Shin-san!" said Kiba to his future genin squad member as he saw him leave out of the dojo. The young Raiken felt even worse now that he knew one of his comrades had already passed and he himself was far from that point. No! Such negativity could not be tolerated! He would be a bonafied gening in not time flat! The question now was as to what jutsu he would apply himself to learning. He had rather let his justsu go by the way side for some time now, focusing instead on his swordsmanship. He made a rather loud sort of humming sound with his hand on his chin as he thought about which one would be best. "Ok, Yuki-sensei, I would like to learn kawarimi no jutsu."

"Good choice, darling," Yuki said with a smile as Kiba chose his next technique to learn. "The first thing you need to learn about Kawamiri, is the seal," Yuki started showing him the seal of the ram. "Its only a single seal, but its a seal you must use in stealth. You're required to use your seal without your opponent noticing, otherwise they'll know what's coming. Go ahead and practice your seal while dodging normal attacks. It mustn't be apparent what you're trying to do with your hands," Yuki said to Kiba as she threw a senbon at Tanu without warning once again.
Kiba - Learn Hand Seal
The seal to use Kawamiri is the Ram. You must use the seal quickly and with stealth so that your opponent will not see it coming. Practice utilizing the seal with sleight of hand.

Tanu stood by impatiently waiting for her try to test once again. The way Yuki explained the seal and the way Hanabira had explained the seal was completely different to Tanu. She could compare the two instructions and instantly tell that Yuki was the more experienced shinobi. Hanabira had done a real good job at teaching everyone techniques. Tanu thought that Hanabira would be the next replacement for Yuki some day. Before she knew it, Yuki was throwing another senbon at her. "Fa-" Tanu started to mouth a rather vulgar word, but quickly put her hands together in the seal of the ram. Quickly, she disappeared from her spot leaving a scroll that had been sitting on Yuki's table in her place. The senbon hit the scroll as Tanu leaned up against a pole. "Whew..." the girl sighed with relief, glad that she had not gotten hit again by Yuki's painful attacks.

This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack. Explosive tags can be attached to the replacement for an added surprise. Fundamentally, all ninja know this technique. If the technique is successful you can use sneak attack to attack your target.

"Finally," Yuki breathed as Tanu dodged the attack with her Kawamiri technique. "You Kun 'Kumo's sure are surprising," the woman said as she walked over to Tanu. Placing her hand on the girl's shoulder, the silvery green chakra of the healing shinobi began to shine brightly. A warm tingly sensation would be spread throughout Tanu's arm, shoulder and chest quickly healing the areas that Yuki had damaged during the exam. "I haven't really formed an opinion of you, Tanu, but you have pushed forward farther than Kazuma has and therefore I hold you with some worth in my book," Yuki said as she stepped away. "You claim to be a shinobi, but you lack many of the skills they carry. Your weakest point is stealth and the ability to attack from the shadows. Tread lightly and you'll find that the shadows are a good ally," the woman said as she walked away to grab the piece of paper she had given the others. "You'll be allowed to choose a new weapon from Hamma's inventory and then Tenko will give you some items to help you on the field. She will then tell you to meet Natamo at the Lagoon, where she'll prepare your squad to take on a mission together," Yuki repeated just as she had the previous three that passed.

So the lady in the village and the man on the shore were right... hard not to miss this place, it was pretty huge.... and flowers everywhere.... In Akemi's opinon, it was more of an eye sore then anything else.... What ever happened to simple things? A person with such an extravigant garden and big home must have too much time on their hands.... or had help... either way, it wasn't any of her concern. Who really cared if this Tenmoki Yuki woman had a big home and fancy garden? For all Akemi knew, it said nothing about the woman at all. The girl simply shrugged her shoulder and tugged the black leather band from her hair, letting the bleached blond strands fall free once again as she walked up to the woman's door.
She gave the door three sharp knocks, not wanting to be rude and just bargin in uninvited. Akemi was unsure weather she would be heard or not, didn't the man mention something about genin exams going on here? She looked around at her surroundings and noticed that there was a small path leading around the house to the back, where there was a bit of noise coming from. Genin exams equals noise and needsing space... Akemi slapped herself on her forehead, how stupid could she be.... of course there wasn't going to be exams in the woman's actual house... The smaller, shed like building must be where she was conducting the exams, she finally decided as she walked towards it and as she peaked her head in the door she called out rather bluntly, "Is there a Tenmoki Yuki here? I was told I needed to find her, and that she would be here."

Kiba was about to begin when he saw, out of the blue, Yuki suddenly send a senbon flying towards Tanu. His eyes followed its swift journey through the air straight into the scroll the firery Kun Kumo had replaced herself with. First of all Kiba was glad that she had avoided the sudden attack, but he also felt even worse about his own ability. Dang. She's already a genin too, eh? thought the dark eyed Raiken. But no, Kiba would not let himself get down. Quite the contrary. He would train hard and make himself better soon. He would start with learning how to subtly perform the ram handseal without an opponent. The question was how to do this. The most obvious way to Kiba to do this was to throw in some "fake" hand seals that would not actually be used. Thus, the young Raiken quickly made the hand seals of tiger, rat, and then finally the seal of the ram. Simple, Kiba thought, but seemingly effective.

To Kiba the most obvious way of simply thowing in some decoy hand seals was the best way to this. It was both safe and effective and he had just a bit of trouble coming up with another way to do it. He began to slowly pace around wringing his hands together. The more and more he thought about a truly effective way to do this the more and more feverishly he wrung his hands together. The dark eyed Raiken cast a quick glance off towards the unfamilliar new arrival in the dojo. Now that Kiba thought about new arrivals he wondered what this years batch of new academy students would be like. Granted, Kiba was still and academy student himself, but he still reflected back on his first days in Shimagakure. He shook his head as if to restore his focus to his task at hand and continued ringing his hands together. "Dang it!" he muttered to himself as he looked down at his hands "How should I -- Oh!" he exclaimed. Of course. He continued ringing his hands together and gradually, slowly, subtly, formed his hands into the symbol of the ram. "Alright! Success! This way will work too!"

While Kiba had just doubted wether or not there was any better way to hide the ram seal other than hiding the real seal in with other decoy seals and had eventually thought of the previous trick he had just used he really did feel stuck this time. Behind the back? No, that would hardly work... What else was there? Surely not everything had been done. Of course not! There had to be something else. What it was, however, the dark eyed Raiken could not think of it at the moment and allowed his mind to once again drift back to his first days at the academy. He remembered his old sword master... Jintachi. Kiba sighed. Jintachi-sama, I wonder where you are right now... thought the young swordsman to himself. He still distinctly remembered how they had met and how passionately Kiba had begged (indeed 'begged was the word) Jintachi to train. Oh the memories...

Shin had made his stop at the Clinic and the Weapon Shop and now he was on his way back to Yuki's Dojo. He wouldn't go to Natamo without the rest of his team by his side. Walking to the back yard once again, Shin caught just the end of Yuki's speech to Tanu. "Congrats, Tanu!" the boy said with a smile as he walked up to the group in the dojo. With a small bag of nuts in his hand that he had picked up on the way back, Shin took a seat on the floor of the dojo to watch Kiba train. "Learning Kawamiri?" the boy asked as he popped a nut in his mouth. "I haven't learned that one yet," Shin admitted with an awkward smile. He felt he should probably learn the technique since it sounded like a useful one, but he was really hungry!

Yuki stood by as she watched Kiba practice his seal. "Focus," Yuki said to Kiba as she noticed the daydreaming look on his face. "Once you have your seals completed, You'll send your chakra through your body when your hands clasp together for the brief moment. What you're doing is accelerating your movements for quick movement, which creates a cloud of smoke from the friction of chakra, movement, the object you're replacing yourself with and air," As she said this, another person came up the steps to the dojo. Yuki thought it would most likely be Orika, but she was wrong as she turned to meet a new face. Turning into the soft motherly type she was, Yuki turned towards the young girl. "I'm Moma-Yuki. How can I help you, darling?" the woman asked with a fresh and tender smile on her face.

"Hai!" Kiba quickly responded as Yuki snapped him out of his daze. He listened carefully as he heard how Yuki explained the next step in the jutsu. Yet, he still wanted to think of onc last subtle way to perform the appropriate hand seal. Before he could decide on his final method, however, he also heard Shin talking to him. "Hey Shin-san!" responded the dark eyed Raiken "Really, you don't know Kawarimi yet either?" This made the young genin hopeful feel a bit better about his own progress, and yet Shin probably knew other techniques as well. Returning to the task at hand Kiba continued brainstorming ideas on how to stealthily perform the hand seal. He looked in frustration down at his bandaged hands and then it finally struck him. Quickly the young Raiken unwrapped some of the bandages and, waving his arms around causing the white cloth to flap in the air like streamers obscuring his hands as they formed the ram seal.

Kiba would work backwards and attempt to make his chakra flow through his body by using first the bandage technique of hiding his hand seal. With arms and bandages flailing he formed the seal of the ram and tried to make the chakra flow through his body, but his coordination was not with him and it failed. After a couple of seconds he could feel the chakra slowly begin to flow, but it had taken far too long for the technique he was trying to learn. With a frustrated look the young Raiken threw apart his hands and gave a deep sigh. What had he done wrong exactly? He pondered this, but could not find any real flaw in what he had done and decided upon practice being the simplest antidote and so he diligently resumed his attempts to bend his chakra to his will and have it rapidly fill his body in perfect tandum with the moment his hands formed the seal of the ram.

Patience! The over anxious Raiken tried to convince himself that this was exactly what he needed and, in fact, all that he needed in order to complete this part of learning kawarimi. It was only a matter of time. And yet time was precisely the one thing of which the the dark eyed Raiken was most deficient! Still, he knew that it would take longer for him to learn the justsu if he made a thousand quick, poorly executed attempts than it would if he simply made a few slower, more efficient ones. Bearing this in minde Kiba proceded to once again twirl his bandages through the air as he simulataneously attempted to form the symbol of the ram with his hands. Careful not to get his fingers tangled in his own smoke screen of bandages he successfully formed the seal. Now all that needed doing was for the chakra to flow through his body. At the instant that the seal was formed he could feel it flowing freely for a few seconds and then subside. Finally! He was making progress!

One method of forming the seal of the ram had proven a viable option for letting chakra flow through his body, not only two other methods to go! Kiba felt confidence from his mounting success and hoped that he could keep the momentum going. At this rate he would master Kawarimi in no time at all. His familiar grin appeared upon the face of the Raiken with its lightening bolts on either side of the mouth's corners. After meticulously rewrapping his bandages around his hands Kiba was ready to resume his training full force. This time the wrining his hands together method was up for its test of effectiveness. To Kiba this should definitely be the easiest one. Unlike the other two this one did not require much quick, destracting movement of the hands, rather the opposite. This way of forming the ram seal was all about slowly and unsupiciously forming the seal of the ram from his anxious hands. As Kiba performed the procedure just as before he prepared to release his chakra. Upon clasping his hands into the now natural sign of the ram Kiba could feel his chakra flowing through every fiber of his being in even greater abundance than before.

He was almost there! He could feel it! Only one more style of creating the seal of the ram left to try! This manner of making the seal was, perhaps, slightly more difficult than the previous two, but Kiba still felt confident that he would master this one as well in only one try. The young Raiken's excitement could not be expressed any more clearly than it was through his massive smile before he took a deep breath to calm himself and prepare to form the seal of the ram one last time. He quickly formed four seals this time in rapid succession: tiger, dog, rat, ram. No sooner had he come to the last of the hand signs than he felt his body become super charged with his own chakra. He jumped with joy high in the air leving a puff of smoke behind as he exclaimed "Yes!" very proudly. "Yuki-sensei! I think I've mastered this part of the technique!" With grin at full power he eagerly awaited the final stages of learning the technique.
