EternalHearts Don't we have an ever-full fridge and pantry? When I buy Jammie dodgers and Dandelion Burdock I always buy enough to go around, and when people are not here for theirs, I have been known to mail them out (many many many times) That might account for the cravings and stomach rumblings coming from the direction of New Mexico (among other places) at the mention of Jammie Dodgers and Dandelion and Burdock Drink rofl

morphingbutterfly ok..you mean there really is a dandelion and burdock drink? confused ...i havent ever had either of them.......the drink or the jammie dodgers.... The jammie dodgers are nice because the jam/jelly is so soft and chewy, and once you eat one, you're kind of addicted and have to keep eating... and the dandelion and burdock drink reminds me of black licorice, and has a sort of sour bite to it too, if I remember. Also very addictive, and very exotic! biggrin

Also very addictive, and very exotic! biggrin I find once a pkg of Jammie Didgers (since I buy the 8 packs) is open, I 'might as well' eat the whole thing so nothing goes stale rofl and yes, I discovered there really was Dandelion and Burdock Drink when I was out shopping for Jammie Dodgers in an International stores England Dept one day, so I basically blame Louise Rennison (an English author who made me curious about Jammie Dodgers)

Sort of anise flavour more than anything else I can compare it to. Jammie Dodgers are a delicious cookie made in England that I read about in a series of books and just knew I HAD to try. While I was shopping for the cookies one day, I saw the Dandelion and Burdock Drinks (which up till then I had supposed to be fictional when I heard the name) so I tried them too. heart Now I have been on a self appointed mission to 'spread the joy' to my North American friends who express the interest in them... rofl

jzznjasmine Hello everyone!!! I'm Jaz i guess I'm new to this guild so here is my introduction!!! Welcome .... I'm Jaz too... and it's my RL name...but hopefully it won't get confusing around here, altho I have to admit I've been the only purkle Jaz the whole time the couch has been around, so this is new territory for me to have to share my name lol *hugs* I still haven't had Jammie Dodgers and D&B....we have a couple international shops out here and haven't found a single one with them. So upset. Guess I'll just have to wait until I visit simmy sometime *hugs*

i did some reading up on dandelion and durdock after explaining to my friend Dion in Indiana what it was. most of what's available now is just your regular carbonated pop with artificial flavourings, but the original beverage was naturally fizzy because of the fermented ingredients, if fawN liked her sample she should enjoy what's in my Purkle places package lol if we ever get tham that is!
