Cat looked at Jonas, as if the answer to his question should of been obvious. "You were going to take Caleb whether I agreed with you or not. Remember, you through me against a wall because I was solidly against him being taken again." she seemed to tense a bit. "Calebs more or less the only family I have left, I wasn't about to let him come here by himself, he's only 10."

He thought for a second. "Im sorry for my actions..." The next part only seemed like a logical follow up -strange how logical he was feeling today, a little less emotion seems to clear your view alot- so he went with it. "I never locked the door and told you have to stay. It was probably implied that i wanted you to but you dont have to." He pointed behind her. "You can take Caleb now and leave, i wont stop you." He wanted her to stay for some reason and he really thought he could help caleb. Give them more of a family maybe, but who was he to say what he could do for them. They had each other and maybe thats all they needed. "Go." He turned again as tears seemed to materialize.

"You know, I keep my mind open to all of you in case I'm ever needed or if there's something any of you wish to speak about, and I'm not about to take any risks shutting you all out...but at the same time, one cannot hope to gain any sort of real sleep with the drama and tension in the air. As thrilled as I am to finally know the circumstances of these two living here, I'd wish you'd of revealed it at a time my body wasn't to susceptible to emotion..."

Now he was standing at the doorway, leaning against the frame with his head turned from them, speaking to Cat and his Master in the same sense and tone he always spoke in.

"Cat, the young man in the other room is obsolete with my presence, at least when it comes to strategy's sake, but I'd be lying if I told you my Master was keeping you two here...or rather, asking you to remain here without more honest hopes. Remember our talk of humanity, and remember what we were so jealous of...the Master is portraying it right now, and it's making me sick."

With Jonas' back turned he wouldn't be able to see the glare he'd shoot his Master, though he may be able to feel it instead. With his message portrayed, he'd move off in irritation to fix himself some more water.

Cat stared at Jonas a moment. About five minutes after they got here would of been a good time to inform them that they didn't have to stay. She blinked, having not even heard Setsumei make his way to the doorway. Between the two of them she didn't really know who to pay attention to more, the one that seemed hurt or the one that seemed pissed. Closing her eyes she took a breath and let it out slowly. "At teh moment it isn't my decision to make alone whether to leave or not, I'll wait till Caleb's up and coherent a bit before asking him what he wants to do." she paused realization seeming to cross her face. "I think he wants to stay anyway, he never put up much fuss about coming here to begin with." she smirked and shook her head.

'Setsumei you confuse me. You seem angry that Jonas can feel emotion or atleast get upset, yet you seem pretty emotional at the same time, just n a different way.' she glanced back at him. 'Let's pretend I'm slow, please explain to me why your mad at him?'

"He's a human blessed with the ability to feel such spectacular emotion, and yet wastes it on sorrow and doubt. I may be able to choose my own path, and I may be able to dictate my words and otherwise actions, but I lack that kind of emotion. I can become angered with a being whom posses the greatest of all God complexes as his name is in the title. I can be mad at a man for torturing me for years and rendering me a hideous mute. I can be angry with a man for taking one of my wings from me. But honestly, after all of that, the anger is so minimal I hardly act on it. I'm here because what the Master does defies God to an extreme, and that's exactly what I want to be caught up in. Still, I'm so limited as to how much joy, and sorrow, and hatred I can feel...for the one I call Master to show such weakness makes me ill in a brand new way."

Behold, the power to multi-task with his mind! He could keep all other communications open and isolate a single one, allowing him to hear the others while simultaneously speaking to Cat through an "isolated line," thus making it a private conversation.

As he spoke with her, he'd poor himself another glass of holy water, then go ahead and bless the freezer, thus allowing him to pull out holy ice cubes. He'd move to his couch again, and put his feet up and kick his shoes and socks off. His feet were the epitome of perfect, thanks to Kain's lack of a foot fetish in means of torture. He'd rest them on the arm of the couch while his head lay on the other, and he'd finally remove his scarf. There wasn't a bit of flesh left to his face except for the bits around his eyes, though his right eye was fogged over. Different bits of the muscle in his cheeks were missing, thus revealing his jawbone and teeth. And, of course, no tongue. This image wouldn't be seen long, though, as he'd use the old art of "glamor" to put up a field around his head meant to effect only vision, changing what the eye saw in to what he wanted to see, which was his normal old flawless face. He'd then take a drink of his water...and begin channel surfing.

Cat was silent for a moment, processing this conversation. "Correct me if I'm wrong, and I probably am, but by going against God int his way, which you seem bound determined to do, doesn't that mean you feel rebellion? It's obviously strong enough to keep you here." she had watched him till he made it to the couch.

"Not enough for me to shed my wings, my title, my powers and my God-given name. None of us, even Lucifer, truly resent God, we merely wish for Him to see things from out perspective; to hear our voice and opinions. Besides, it's not like I'm one of the ones taking up arms and actually going against Heaven. Those are the ones so lucky as to truly break their shackles. I envy them as well...more than anything, I envy the Nephilim. All of the powers of an Angel, and the emotions of a human...most of us have indeed killed to have that. If there's anyone that can help me in my pursuit to becoming a Nephilim, it's the Master. I intend to turn his golem in to a living person once more in exchange for a bit of soul manipulation..."

He'd tried to implant the idea of becoming human deep in to Maria's mind, making sure she believed he knew how to do it and that he was willing to do it. At the same time, he'd need a few of his genes messed with, which would take another body and an accomplice. Not even he knew what it'd truly require, but he'd been piecing it together more and more as he went along.
PostPosted: Tue Sep 09, 2008 10:22 pm

"What is it you know you need to become a Nephili?" Cat asked, not even realizing she'd picked out that he didn't know the whole thing himself. "I'll help if I can, in payment for you helping Caleb and me out." Jonas had been quiet for awhile, so Cat acted as if she'd fallen asleep in the chair for a bit.

"I'm not honestly sure. I've seen Kain combine bodies more than once; it makes sense it'd be the same sort of method as making a chimera, but I'm not sure on it. But, what I will ask of the Master is to experiment. I'll take a human body, remove the soul and have him remove my soul as well. I'll ask that he more or less mix the bodies and the souls, and replace the soul in the body. If I'm right, the other soul will grant mine what it'd missing, so long as I destroy the second personality, which is easily done. It'd also heal my wounds...and in the end, I'd be no different than you or anyone else. just another human, only not human. It's all dangerous, but I believe it's worth it."

The truth was he knew just who to ask. He knew he could go to this person and get all of the answers, but without Earth as a portal, he wasn't sure how to get there. He hadn't truly come from Heaven; having rebelled he dwelled in the same sub-space the Nephilim and other Fallens had, which lie between Heaven and Earth. When Earth was destroyed, he was able to create a second bridge via his link to Kain. But, when it came to Hell...well, Kain had been to the center of the planet and back and he still didn't even know a means of reaching their mutual friend.

"On the off chance you don't like being somewhat human, what then?" she asked. It was something to be considered. She knew of plenty of humans who wish they weren't human and wish they either were dead, or had a special ability like a UH.

"Imagine a world where you know there's joy to be had, but you only smile. You don't get to feel that joy. Imagine a world where you really don't know what to feel towards someone, because in the end, you can't really dislike or like anyone. You know right from wrong, and your judgment of people is based only on that. If they're bad, then you fight against them. If they're good, then you help them. If you can't decide, then you stray from them altogether. Imagine having the power to level the world or create life, but not know how you want to use it...because you CAN'T know because you're mind's not built to register such a thought. What I do to help you, Caleb, the Master...I do it because I think it'll lead me towards the best possible outcome, not because of any driving emotion. I don't fight Kain because he's Kain, I fight him because he's bad...and I can't feel sorrow, even for myself and my lack of feeling. But I know it's wrong. I can imitate a smile, and I can try to be mad, but in the end it's all the same. This is the world I live in Cat...and I find it rather pointless, and I think it's as you humans would define as 'sad.' I'll have all of my powers, but I'll also be able to feel...I think everyone deserves at least that much. Tell me, Cat: What do you think of God, the Almighty, creating a race that's so sad? Lucifer and Gabrielle say it's wrong...and I think they're right. But, that's only the opinion of a servant..."

Honestly, he felt crushed inside, though he didn't feel it at the same time. He new his inability to show, or have emotion, was sad, and even pathetic. He knew he may as well be soulless in this body, but at least some part of his soul had enough strength to help lead him down the path to changing it all. In all his time spent with Cat, Caleb, Jonas and the rest, which had been his longest time amongst humans thus far, he was finally figuring out what it was that made the others so envious, and broke some of them, casting them in to darkness. He knew what Lucifer fought for, and now felt regret for not having at least tried to help.

He'd take another drink of his water, a long drink that would nearly empty the glass and look in to it, seeing his reflection, the fake reflection he'd cast upon himself to hide his dark, hideous self. Still, he couldn't care that Kain had done so much to him. He still saw Kain for what he'd always been: A Devil amongst demons. But he knew there was emotion missing that he ought to be feeling for what Kain had done to him, and his life. So, he'd let out a long sigh, not in his mind but from his throat. It would be a noise more ghostly and haunting than anything else, but the soul couldn't cry via his mind...

Watching them both look around the room and each other he knew they were talking. It was funny really, he wondered if Setsumei and Cat would make a good couple. He needed to jump. He needed to feel that rush of being able to go anywhere and every where; while all at once going no where. The adrenalin would pound his heart back into a shape someone could recognize. He closed his eyes and looked through his memory he lined up three places. A long time ago he traveled the world in search of rose's all different colors, there was one he found that amazed him.

"Be." He jumped so hard it broke his chair, half of it taken into his jump scar (i will be using official jumper terminology.). A red rose in full bloom still wet with the heat of the sun on its tips appeared."Right" The last bits of the chair sucked out of the room and next to the red rose a blue one appeared. The blue inside the petals shone with the brilliance of gem stones. "Back" He landed turned around, his back obscured the vied of his last treasure. "I wont mythological or nostalgic with this speech because it shouldnt take long."

He turned around and held up a black rose. So dark seemed to eat the light around it and he laughed. "It seems that there is going to be a show down. All the greater goods and lesser evils are coming together to have a final fight. Setsumei, id ask that you stay here and protect the girl and her brother. Cat well... This could be the last time we talk. I cant help but wonder if there is something i should say."

He looked Setsumei in the eyes. "Im going to the four roses, Micah, Seth and possibly Kain will make an appearance and i dont think im going to be able to handle this on my own. But i dont want help. What i do want is that Caleb be kept under watchful eye and trained properly. I ask that whatever Maria ask of you, you do like i had asked it with my own voice." He turned and felt something inside him fuse. He'd finally crushed all his voices into one: his. No more splitting it was just Jonas Yurich. He jumped so hard his rip scar filled the back of the room. Then it faded slowly.

"You want me to stay!? Lord Master, with all due respect, I've enough power to cripple the damned evils; I always do! It's been my task for centuries to keep Kain and other evils at bay..." The more his Master spoke, the more a drill seemed to run through his heart. Is was quite a bit of a reaction in his mind, one greater than he'd ever previously felt...which made him smile, regardless of the pain. He'd think of Cat, then Caleb, and finally the whole reason he'd descended to the planet in the first place and cast God aside after reading Raziel's writings. These words, and even the thought, could be heard only by Yurich.

"You know, once upon a time, like Gabriel and even more so Pyriel, I thought humans were just talking monkeys that didn't deserve our protection, much less out servitude. In all honesty, that really hasn't changed and I still believe we are the superior race. But, we're only superior in a sense of power and divinity. When it comes down to it, out lives are far less meaningful than those of any human; a single human can change the flow of the world while out existence in this world like a Muse may only influence such things. As I've explained to Cat, my motives here are to have what both worlds have; to become a being with the power of an Angel and the emotions and free will of a Human. As soon as I become a Nephilim...I believe I can not only put Kain down for good, but I can make sure Heaven's what it's supposed to be...so for now my Master: DO NOT DIE. Nothing good awaits you in Heaven and you've done nothing to warrant a life in Hell...trust me, I know these things. I'll do as you ask and watch over the children, though if your woman wants my respect then I'll need her help...I'll make her a trade. If she does as I instructs, with Cat's help and supervision, then I'll be able to evolve in to a Nephilim. In exchange, I'll pledge eternal loyalty to you, to your woman, and to Cat and Caleb. I'll also grant your woman...Maria...a body not made of soil, but of true flesh. This building houses so much power...but tell me my Master: Are we going to rule out of fear and spite, or out of justice?"

This time, his words could be heard by Yurich, Maria, Cat, and even Caleb even if the boy were sleeping. A strange few words he'd hear in his dreams, but he'd not leave out the boy. His words, though only a reflection of psychic thought, were strong and charismatic. Though, he proposed quite a bit...but, after his discussions with Cat, he'd come to the conclusion it was time for them all to reach their full potentials as Yurich had. It was at the very moment he sensed Yurich molding his personalities in to one that he'd breath a sigh of relief in knowing he chose the right master.

"I think that God was either bored or lonely when he decided to create humans." Her thought was cut off at that point as Jonas spoke one word then vanished.

Cat watched Jonas jump to and from where ever he went. She was surprised at the amount of power he used to actually make said jumps. She was a little leary of moving till he stayed still long enough to signify that he wasn't jumping anymore. She watched him a moment as he spoke. She smirked as he mentioned saying something. "If it were something important that you had to say, you wouldn't have to think about it." she moved in the chair a bit to sit up, getting ready to stand. Once he was gone she moved to her feet, stuffing her hands in her pockets, and turning to look at Setsumei as he asked his question. her smirk didn't fade, but simply grew more, looking almost sarcastic. "Ruling out of fear and Spite sounds like work." she pointed out.

"Ruling out of Fear and Spite needs no energy. You need only insert the fear of the governing body in to people and dictate their movements justly from that point on, as God did with the first talking monkeys and as many dictators have done over the past. The Spite of them is what makes the task so easy; I would think any human, or otherwise in this world, would want anything it sees as weak, pathetic and/or inferior to fear it. Ruling in the name of the people, in the name of Justice, is far more difficult. At that point, it becomes your word as God's, given you now tell them what's right and wrong; good and evil. With that much power, it's hard not to let it consume you and turn you in to a tyrant. It only gets harder when every individual's problems soon become your own given your new rank...but with Justice comes loyalty. With Tyranny comes revolt. True be it that any of us on or own could no doubt stop a simple revolt, but a full-scale revolution...well, that's what we're up against right now. It forces us to look beyond the people that look to us and look to others like Kain, Micah and Seth that stand as true threats to us, and we're forced to deal with them. In the end...nothing's going to be easy, but I know for a fact the Master knew this...I'm simply interested in what path he'd chosen for the Huxley Energy Cooperation, for us, and for himself..."

He'd look to Cat, and if he could he'd smile somewhat valiantly, though at the given time he couldn't do much more than look to her with a single violet orb with so much confusion behind it, it could easily give someone a complex of their own. Their was some sorrow and anger in there too, but as a being that didn't quite know too much emotion, and angel could easily hide it. Usually without trying.
