The vox in the walkers cackled. "#3 is down, repeat, #3 is down. #5, take the rearguard and blast anything suspicious."

---

Sek sank into the cockpit of his flyer mech. It was well known that of all the cities, Chronos had been the best at not affecting the environment, at a cost of firepower to their mechs. still, one flyer war mech outclassed the ones stomping through the trees. Eden was getting cocky, he thought, Attack walkers are nice, but actual war walkers would have been more devastating.

The walker stood, as it's cabin rotated, looking around. Two other's stood watch with it. They looked around, unable to use radar, for the various animals around. There was a small thump on all of them. The cabins turned, looking for the source. The sensors picked up rustling in the brush. The heads quickly turned simultaneously, and each exploded. Three troopers jumped out of the tree and smiled at the rubble. The leader said in his head, '3 more down. There are others that are too far away to get to.'

"Freeze!" Three walker pilots had snuck up and each had a weapon aimed at each of them. "Hehe, I knew that would work" sneered one of the pilots from behind his helmet. "Who should we kill first?" asked one of the others. Right on cue, the speaker's head burst open from a sniper shot. The next two shots killed the two other pilots. A woman came out from the undergrowth, a monocle sort of view finder over her right eye, and a sniper rifle on her back. The bald headed leader said to the others, "The walkers are too far ahead, lets get to the extraction point, in case we have to get out of here in a hurry." With that, the 4 walked off into the foliage.

Sequoia growled and spun around between the branches, letting loose another knife. This one shattered the glass of a cockpit also. She let loose one at the pilot, another at another walker. Her aim was a little off, and it bounced off of the edge around the glass. She managed to do a complicated maneuver, catching it. She sprang back up to the other walker that was falling, retrieving her weapons.

Her sharp ears heard the radio in the pilot's helmet. She'd been spotted. She dodged the gunfire as she disappeared back into the trees, silent and unfindable in her element.

Morris smiled as his walkers were destroyed. it gave him a reason now. he spoke into the microphone on his desk. "Citizens of Eden. while your protectors, the Blackfire Agency, were on a routine patrol, the citizens of Gaia attacked us for no reason! for your safety, we are declaring war on Gaia, and sending a lance of war walkers to teach the forest people a lesson." He grinned as the edited video played on the screens inside the domed city. 7 walkers moving alongside a road before explosives and rockets are thrown from the forest, destroying the walkers. it was all fake, of course, but the people of the city of Eden would never know.

twelve war walkers stomped out of Eden, the massive hulks armed with weaponry that made the attack walkers look harmless.

---

The Star Hunter, a 40-ft tall mech, dropped from the Survivor. It was the last airborne mech in existence, back from a time before aliens, elves or even the demons had appeared. He floated above the trees carefully. he had to keep from damaging the surrounding area.

---

The last two attack walkers immediately their time was up. anything that even had a hint of Chronos was supposedly destroyed, but here was a full mech, intact, floating in the air like a vengeful spirit. one was able to eject before the walkers were reduced to slag from the Star Hunter's plasma cannons.

---

The war lance moved slowly across the vast desert, through the sand and dunes. Too far away to even be seen, they were over hundreds of miles away, but coming closer ever so slowly.

'Sek, could you handle the attackers outside the forest,' asked Octavian telepathically. 'The ones within the forest can be destroyed by the elves. He and the 5 other hooded figures continued to chant. Magic was beginning to get super saturated around the sigil. This caused the chanting to have odd harmonics.

"Octavian, I know what to do. Pandora always did have predictable attacks." sek replied, his mech landing on the forest rim.

---

the war mechs, about as far away as Canada is to southern Oregon, continued their slow march. They had yet to cross rivers, mountains, hills, and the rest of the desert.

The chanting began to get louder, and, though there were 6 people chanting and in the cavern, it sound as if there were multitudes. It was almost deafening the roar. The chant reached a climax, while the sigil glowed brighter then ever. There began a rumbling, quiet at first, then growing into a catastrophany unlike anything the elves have heard before. Then, the rumbling ended, and the 6 in the cavern sat down, breathing deeply.

At the outskirts of the forest, a gigantic wall rose up from the ground, built of trees, roots, and earth. The wall was tall and thick, something only Nature could build. The collective sentience of the forest, awakened by the six, built the wall, to protect itself from the incoming attackers from Pandora. Now, the elves, children of the forest, attacked the remaining invaders within the forest.

Arianashekala, usually called Ariana in her human form, leaned against the wall of a small village, she hoped that a city Human would pass by so that she could learn more about their technology. Her sword was strapped to her back and she looked at it to make sure that no one had taken it yet. She then looked at the ground and sighed not sure of what to do.

the mech force launched by Pandora appeared on the horizon of the village. people ran and hid as the mechs neared, their massive feet shaking the houses. as they walked through, ignoring the town.

Genesis listened to Morris’s message from her hiding place in the sewers. “Filthy liar.” she growled. “Gaia would never attack. They are peace lovers…..at least that’s the way they were in the old stories.” she stood up. Chibi looked at her with his big blue eyes. “I know, Chibi. We need to do something. Something big.” she sighed. Genesis pulled her bag over her shoulder. “With everyone worrying about the attack, now would be the perfect time for a bombing.” she started down the sewer, laughing. Chibi followed, right on her heels.

Morris kept an eye on his screens, watching as the last mech fell in the forest. he began another broadcast. "People of Eden. I regret to inform you that we have lost every attack walker. fear not, for retribution is at hand! the people of Gaia are unable to stop war mechs! we shall level that city and every one of the traitorous Gaians!"

---

Sek scanned the horizon, the mountain pass in the far distance, beyond that, the desert, Eden, and the shattered remains of Pandora. behind him the massive forest and Gaia, beyond that more forest, then the ocean, and far in the ocean, Atlantis. to his left, the remains of Chronos, and then mountains... beyond that, frozen tundra and Arc. somewhere to his right, Tartarus hid in the mountain range. the cities seemingly fell into a patten. they all surrounded Gaia, which was once a center of trade. the elves had forgotten their old ways, and abandoned most of their skyscrapers and machines, leaving only the insect-like caretaker droids in the forest. the elves actually thought those machines were alive, and would always wait for the things to pass... without maintainence, it was a wonder they even still worked after these thousands of years. It was almost hard to believe that Gaia was one of the forestry superpowers looking at it now... overgrown, streets choked with vines and plants, banks long forgotton, and glass skyscrapers long empty. the city's nuclear power plant was the only thing that still ran well, cleared of forest around it, and manned by ancient Arc droids, it still was channeling power into the overgrown city. the elves avoided it, called the plant a place of evil. it was technically the most powerful area of Gaia, and yet it was serving no purpose. Sek smiled, wondering the elves' reaction to seeing their sacred city light up after so many years. they'd probably freak out.

Genesis listened to the latest broadcast. "Crap! Come on Chibi, we got to hurry! Were running out of time." she growled, picking up speed. She rounded the next bend, pressing herself against the wall. It was the entrance of the sewer. People ran around outside, some terrified, some running to their mechs. Genesis pulled up her hood, covering her face. She slipped into the crowd, and made her way to Morris's main building.

Sequoia blinked and watched as the last of the walkers crashed to the floor of the forest. She smirked but did not rejoice yet, turning on her bare heel, sprinting back through the trees towards Gaia. She suddenly stopped, turning her head to the side and listening. The loud hum of something tech was approaching.

She stayed in a crouched position on the thick branch, listening for a moment. She sighed, making her decision. She let out a low whistle, but it seemed to echo immensely through the forest. It went on and spread through the empty buildings of Gaia, speaking to the trees. As soon as the last echo disappeared, it was dead silence for just a moment. Sequoia closed her green eyes, listening to the forest talk back to her. Using her power and the connection, she told it what she wanted it to do.

The trees around the edge of Gaia began to move.

Janson grinned at lord Morris's message knowing he would be on that attack force, but only if he got his mech operational in time and used the modifications he had made to the engines himself to catch up with the rest of the war walkers. He began to start up his War walker and made sure that the weapons were fully operational. when he was sure that they were he walked out of the hanger and put on a boost of speed going almost as fast as an attack walker.

((btw here are the weapons I get these from Mechwarrior 4 Mercenaries so some might not be on others lol. 2 PPCs, a Rotary autocannon, a light gauss rifle, 2 small pulse lasers, 2 machineguns, ummmm a medium pulse laser, and a long tom Artillery))

Genesis ran as fast as she could. She didn't see the War Walker pulling out of the hanger. She nearly missed getting crushed by the foot. She backflipped to get out of the way. On the last flip, her hood came off her head, reveling her trademark long silver hair. Genesis pulled her hood up quickly, but not before a woman behind her screamed, "It's the Rebel Bomber!" People stopped and stared, then screamed and ran. Crap, so much for my perfect opprotunity!! She yelled in her head. Genesis put her hand on the hilt of her beamsword, eyeing the War Walker, waiting for an outpour of enemies.
