"Oh boy~" Phantom chuckled, "Everyone's scurrying about!"

Zyta felt like she had been running around in circles today, and she hadn't even left the Observatory! She knew from before simply batting these things around wasn't going to work... and apparently these special ninja versions were particularly armed. Seemed like a good opportunity to employ operation BUY SOME TIME!

"Hey you," she said up to Phantom, gauging the distance. He didn't spare her a look.

"What?" With one flowing leap, she had snatched the cosplay sarling by the tail and had pulled him down. In the same motion, she turned her head to the side and... LET THE SARLING FLY! If her aim was true, he would hit the group -- hopefully disorienting them for a little while.

Round Six - The Eternal Question: Ninjas or Pirates?

Kat has seen more over the few weeks than most people have ever seen in their entire lifetimes -- Gandalfian flying horses, furred dragons hatching from foil-wrapped chocolate eggs, plush golems coming to life, said golems lying plastic eggs that hatched inevitably into small plush armies... This stranger's psychotic grin does not have any effect on her in the least.

"Oh, you're so scary," she snorts, massaging her sore forehead and eyeing the black-clad plushies with evident distaste. The ballerina is quiet for a moment, and then she sighs, flipping a hand at the group reluctantly. "Well, if you think you can really do any good with those little threads of yours... try not to hurt any of the Sarlings, though; I've already had to kick someone out because of the same deal." Kat sounds awfully calm, considering her fits of insanity just a few minutes before -- what is she planning...?

Soleil snorts, the very image of his caretaker, upon Garnet's surprised remark. He lifts a paw to gnaw worriedly at one dewclaw, watching the erupting battle with bright eyes, tinged with concern... and when Elysia changes somehow, subtly, behind him, the hatchling whirls round to face her, surprised and perhaps a little dismayed. He's familiar enough with Kat, having spent the entirety of his life with her already, and if he knows anything, he knows she is perfectly capable of handling plushies on her own -- now, Sarlings... especially Sarlings (hatchlings like him could stand a better chance, he reckons), who knows what a plushie could do to a Sarling?

So he stands his ground... even when the pirates arrive.

And the pirates' arrival is slightly less traditional than the ninjas'. Pirates do not meddle with such affairs as doors; six pirate plushies swing down from the rafters, complete with felt eye-patches and plastic legs, and one even has a plush parrot swinging from its shoulder, sewn from a variety of colored fabrics. "Arr," says the parroted pirate plush, addressing the largest of the ninjas. "Avast ye, blackies! This be our side of th' roundhouse, it be!"

"Aye!" choruses the other pirates. The ninja plushies stare for a moment, and then they rush past both whip-bearing stranger and Kat (who shouts indignantly, because HEY, SHE'D TAKEN THE WOUND, SHE OUGHT TO FIGHT THE BATTLE), and collide with the pirates in a flurrying explosion of conflict. And since they have swept effortlessly past the approaching cosplay Sarling, evading his path of flight, the ninjas are unaffected... but a certain Frenchplush, out to reclaim his beret and climbing surreptitiously down from the ceiling, is.

"SACRE BLEU!"

Meanwhile, high above the heads of anyone, it seems that the plushies plastered against the glass seem to be making cracks in it, where the window is thinner, up near the ceiling...

The Stranger blinked as the ninja's attacked the pirates. It was a most certainly strange event. He then just side-glared at jess. "Whatever". Having said the most 'original' come back ever he surveyed the curent situation. "Ninja's and pirates fighting, french plushie neutralized by flying sarling, that just leaves probably a lot of plushies, Yep we're in serious trouble...".

Epona got up and trodded next to the stranger. She felt it wouldn't be very much more safer on the coach.

[*really hopes Elysia can hover this long* XD; ]

Elysia's inner steel seemed to dissolve away slightly, mostly when she saw the two groups of plushies begin to attack each other. That was beyond mean; even she, who knew little of such things as 'fight' and 'strategy' knew that when yuo played a game... you weren't supposed to fight members of your own team.

Glancing at Soliel, she asked, "Do you... erm... think they'll just keep being mean to each other?"

Garnet gave a shriek of warning, as she pointed towards the windows, "Shouldn't we be worried about THEM?! They're going to break through soon!"

Granite's mind began to race. There was no way with his tiny form that he could keep that glass from cracking. He knew that. But then, what could he do? What could anyone do? The entire situation seemed hopeless.

Looking at both of her Sekkar, and then at her green Draconic friend, Elysia decided it was time to spring into action. Fluttering, admittedly rather awkwardly, up, up, up, she reached the point where she could see several of the plushies behind the glass dead in the eyes. "Go away! You can't play here!"

Zyta huffed at seeing her main target missed, not counting one as much of a victory. The stranger made her nervous as well -- he must have been an owner or on their side if Kat hadn't alerted them, though. It would have to be worried about later. Apparently, there were pirates attacking now, TOO! Oye vey.

Still being near the glass, she could hear the cracking begin. "This is not good." The time sarling seemed to be trying her paw at fixing the problem, so she flew up to offer assistance.

"We need something strong and adhesive." She considered the past. "Or to be very, very loud when we say it."

----

Phantom growled, VERY peeved at being used as a projectile. The now-familiar explicative didn't make him feel any better. The minute his senses halfway settled, he clung to his little beret -- which was what this battle was surely all about.

Round Seven - At Least There's No Zombies or Robots
...Nevermind

Kat rolls the Epona-inclined stranger a grinning glance dripping with Cheshire-like sarcasm. "Ya think? There's only, what, ten thousand of them to... twelve of us? Nah, I think those are pretty good odds. MARTHA, GET THE SHOTGUN!" And off the ballerina races to some unknown location, presumably to find someone named Martha to get her a shotgun.

Soleil, meanwhile, glances to Elysia in disbelief. Being mean? Being mean? The plushies are not just being mean; they are being downright aggressive, stabbing each other with plastic katanas and plastic sabres and hooks, respectively, with that stuffed parrot bobbing around -- and it has a voicebox in it, apparently, for every now and then, the parrot says, "Arr, my kingdom for a cracker!" Obviously someone got their cultures confused... or maybe that's a pirate saying that; Soleil is beyond being able to tell the difference.

But as Elysia slips away, the hatchling barks in dismay and flaps his wings furiously, trying hard to follow after. He scoots along a few feet, his toes brushing the ground, but he can't seem to get enough lift to equal her height -- so he runs around in tight, agitated circles beneath, feeling increasingly helpless with each passing moment and each gentle crack of glass. It's beginning to give now, too; the pane is visibly sagging inward, beneath the weight of a hundred hammering plushes. Distantly, across the lobby, a door explodes open, but it is simply one noise within a hundred.

"SALAUD!" screams the Frenchplush, grabbing desperately for the beret. "EET EEZ NOT YOURS TO HAFF, FEERIE! EET EEZ MY HAT! GEEV ME MY HAT! FOR ZEE MUTHERLAHND!!" And the plushie swings at Phantom again, seeming not to have learned his lesson from yesterday...

It is now that it becomes apparent that the plushies are working under direction -- for atop the largest of the heaps, just visible now that Zyta and Elysia have neared the top of the window, there is the torn and fluff-seeping plush from the night prior. It seems to be speaking -- its mouth is working, anyway -- but the glass is muffling its words, and probably well enough. Who knows what sort of things it could be saying?

The stranger blinked. "Yep, she''s definatly insane". Again stating the obvious nothing more sems to be of use. The one thing he intended to do before dying was to put up a good fight. so he drew his whips and readied for the end.

Epona just yawned and curled up next to the stranger. Not much else for her to do in this situation.

Granite had already begun fluttering up to join Elysia - he figured if his Sarling was going to rush off to certain death, then he might as well do the same,a nd Garnet, as much as she hated to do so, relucatantly joined him. She HAD, afterall, chosen to stay with Elysia - she had some love for the Sarling.

The Stasis Sarling was surprised to see Zyta, who had quickly risen from a respected lady to being something of a hero in her eyes, and even more so when the tiger striped one actually SPOKE to her. Seeing that her shout did not work on the plushies, Elysia glanced at back at them in frustration.

Then, amongst the sea of pink, she thought she saw a speck of white, and as she locked eyes on it, she saw that it was the plushie who had been so injured last night. The Surnar in her could not help but feel sympathy, and she spoke aloud, "Aw... I wish I knew how to sew so I could fix the broken one up."

Then, suddenly remembering that she still had nor responded to Zyta's words, she eeped, shame-faced to have been distracted. "I'll go look for something to mend the cracks, Miss Zyta! ... if you'll tell me what to look for?"

Phantom's face wiggled about as it had the first time, muddling him up even more. He fell backwards in disarray, but never loosened his grip on the damn berret! "My prize~" he managed to warble out.

"I thought I told you to leave him alone!" came Aida's nanny-ish voice from above. She swooped in and began laying tiny kicks on the Frenchplush, sure that she could vanquish him again.

Zyta followed the sarling's line of vision, picking up on the torn up ball of cloth from the other day. It was obviously their leader. The cracking caught her hearing again, pushing her to make a decision quickly.

"Elysia, get on my back -- we're going out there."

"You're all insane!" ... Valteil always had to throw in his two cents.

Round Eight - Flocks of Headless Chickens

The door that had exploded open but moments earlier bursts open again, banging off the wall opposite with a sound like a gunshot -- and some might have a brief, dizzying moment of terror in which they suspect Kat might have honestly went and found a shotgun. But no, here flounces the ballerina now, panting with her arms wrapped round a huge, dilapidated box in more pieces than a pie, with no firearm in sight.

She drops the box unceremoniously, glancing first to the resigned stranger, and then to Soleil, standing on his hindlegs with his paws planted firmly against the glass of the window, trying very hard to scale the smooth pane. Kat bites her lip, attempts deciding which of the two would be the least foolish to address; and then she sighs, flinging away her attention to the hovering Sarnin and Sarling, instead.

"HEY YOU GUYS!" calls the ballerina from below, cupping her hands around her mouth to be heard above the din. "IT''S JUST LIKE IN ANY FAIRYTALE; THE PLUSHIES WANT SOMETHING AND THEN THEY''LL GO AWAY. Live in the forest or summat, be eaten by bears." Kat wisely adds this last part under her breath, lest she disturb Elysia. "I''ve got a box here full of stuff that was in the closet -- maybe there''s something in it that can help?"

And with no further ado, the dancer drops to her knees, pulling out first a can of tomatoes, and then a plastic broom no longer than her forearm, and then a needle and thread...

Meanwhile, not but ten paces away, the Frenchplush is having the stuffing beaten out of him by a Sekkar. Not literally, of course, but... He cringes and flails beneath her kicks, running around in tight circles and tripping over his own thickly-stuffed tail, screaming like a little girl all the while. "EEEEK! EEEK! CALL OFF ZEE MONSTAH AND I SHALL NEVER BOTHER YOU AGAIN, MONSIEUR!! EEEEEEK!"

The stranger blinked. "Well that'll work for me..". He put away his whips and walked over to see what exactly kat had. Epona followed him, She wanted to see if she could actually help with something this time...

Elysia went to obey the elder Sarnin, figuring that an experienced hero like Zyta would certainly know best.

It was actually Garnet who spoke up in protest first, her voice so high it hurt even Elysia's ears, "YOU ARE NOT GOING OUT THERE YOUNG LADY!"

"But... but Garnet! I HAVE to help!"

While the rabbit Sekkar distracted the Sarling, Granite, listening to Jessie's words, fluttered down to the box... and upon seeing the needle and thread, he latched onto them as best as his tiny arms could. Flying up to a place within Zyta's view, he squeaked, "Would these... perhaps... help?"
