"Or did they?" the angel then stared off into space in a soap operaish style. True to form, Julian suddenly found himself distracted and remembering something, 'Did I leave my Gatorade downstairs?'

Surprisingly, Julian did not even seem to notice the girl for another twenty seconds or so. His brothers always used to make a game out of who could get him out of his daydreams first. , "I'm thirsty."

It was only with those words that he truly realized how close she was and fell backwards.

"Only a seven, I wasted so many years in falling backwards school," the boy laughed, but still, he couldn't help but wonder what was bringing about this girl's sudden change in personality. Was it possible that perhaps she was just covering for her own fear of what she had learned? If she was nervous, she just should have asked when he offered, but then again, many people can't hand to much information at once and maintaining their sanity. Maybe she... 'I wonder if anyone took my gatorade.'

"Not yet, though I'm hoping they'll grow in soon," Julian sighed, he knew very well that an angel without his wings was barely anything more then a human.

It would seem that the girl was not up for a rematch as the angel watched from the ground as she returned to her bed., "If you have anymore questions you can ask you know, I won't get insulted."

"Well if you ever do, don't be afraid to ask. I'm heading back to the cafeteria," the boy spoke calmly then pushed himself back into an upright position and stood up. Once again the boy strapped on his instrument then left the room, shooting his charge a quick smile at the last second.

HE knew that he was supposed to stay with the girl, to protect her, but right now, his gut was telling him she needed some time alone to sort things out. It just wasn't natural to go from sullen to chatty to quiet so quickly. Not only that but it was obvious that somewhere in her mind, she was trying to fight against the truth. He would think that most people who just found out abouta another world would be asking questions nonstop, wanting to know what Jesus was like or if the bible was really full of crap, which is was in some parts though it's best to stay away from religion even if you are an angel, if God really cared about premarital sex. These were the questions all his brother's charges asked, but this girl seemed more interesting in reading a book. Plus Julian was pretty thirsty and wanted a chance to meet some of the other angels.
