The reference image basically explains everything way better visually (and less confusingly) than I could in words.

An image of another pet I did using this basic theme, with all shading/effects/gradients intact. It gives a good idea of what I want, applied to a different species.

As a note, I have an excellent photoshop brush set for a very easy underwater look that I would be more than happy to share with the colorist! whee Just to make things as simple as possible.

Hair/Clothing edits: Hair can be the long straight default hair if desired, or you can make edits to have it resemble the reference image - it's up to you. ^^ Otherwise, the edits are mostly surface, not so much going beyond the lineart other than a few bracelet-type things and the spines. A dark blonde fading to a red dye on the tips on the mane and tail with a few strands of dark brown scattered here and there. His body coloring is a paint style of the light blonde, brown, and white.
Hair Style is listed under edits.
Markings:
He has a long scar that is shaped like a slanted cross on his shoulder. The scar marking is wide and somewhat ragged looking.

Hair: His mane is cropped short near the base of his neck (It kinda looks like what Roxas' hair looks like in the back, somewhat messy. I'd like it to look like the reference picture, not what he looks like in the game.) and stays that way until his bangs are reached. While still short in length, one side is long while the other is cut to just above his eye to make it the only visual one. The short side is cut to just above his eye. His tail is long and just brushes the ground, the length reaching the bottoms of his hooves.
Clothing:
A bandage is loosely wrapped around his foreleg while he wears a simple river stone around his neck. The cord of the pendant is a rope dyed two different colors.

Description(eye color/hair color/hair style etc): Dark brown eyes with a flaxen mane/tail, almost a golden chestnut coat color, or golden like a palimino but slightly darker with lighter colored dappling going up to her midstomach area. See full body reference picture for better idea. Long tail style, edited mane, see hair edits for the mane. Dark brown hooves, and a white blaze. See face refs for better details.

The Hair should look exactly like the ref's above, but rather longer and straighter. How long it extends is maybe around her neck but a little longer? XD It's more thin and strand-like. 8D;;

Tail is also custom, super long and thing. extending to the ground. :3

If It isn't too much for you to make the slightest fluffed hooves, than yes plz. XD If you don't want to, than that's fine. *_*
