Reese had entered the room and stripped, finding one of those cottony bath robes they always keep in hotels, and wearing that in place of his dirtied clothes. He did all this oblivious to any kind of manners or respect for Raven, and layed down on one of the two single beds in the room.
"So...Why are you so hateful towards humans?"
"heh, I was the star attraction of a freak show for ten years." He held up his arms, and the light of the table lambs illuminated the deep scars around his wrists. "These were from the manicles they always had me chained up with, while the 'caretakers,'" he sneared the word, "shocked me with a cattle prod to keep me in my beast form." and he finished with, "I hate the extent of human curiousity and greed."

Reese was never in to talking too philosophically, and what he'd said so far was the most he'd said to anyone at one time in the last 10 years....it'd been so long, and nothing had changed. And now the mutants, the people he'd called his allies, were insane. Who did he have, anyway...?

Reese seemed thankful to change the subject. "I don't really know all that much about them myself. We fought some uber-bad guys with them and I met a few of them. They all go to this school run by this guy name Xavier, who teaches them that mutants can help mankind see that their not bad, and they can live in harmony. It's a bunch of bullshit, if you ask me. Humans don't understand us. They never will, and they're scared of what they don't understand."

They never will, and they're scared of what they don't understand." *remebers back ot his home town* your damn right they are scared * his mind was being persauded to reese's beleifs, the more he talked with reese, the more it became clear to him* i was great friends with them and in one day it could change and then i was shunned by everyone, even my parents were afraid of what i would od to them, its not my fault i couldnt control it... * he had raised his voice alittle to loud and he had felt his body grow as it had done before, taking on a different more powerful state that was reeses power. He calmed down and came back to normal and nodded*

OOC: Just an FYI, I really don't think Xavier's school says in a phonebook or something 'Come here: We're a school for mutants' smile I think he'd have to contact somebody first or they'd hear it from somebody else.
IC:
Phenix brought Kaede into the kitchen with her for a late night breakfast (or early morning breakfast depending on who you were). She saw Kylia behind the yummy madness.
"Kylia, I didn't know you could cook," Phenix didn't know much about the girl at all.
Kylia nodded and flipped some food onto a plate. Phenix sat down with Jacen and Scott, "Hey guys, this is Kaede. She arrived this evening to the Institute."
