He crouched down and tried to start a fire to help them dry off. "You alright?"

he sat there and let out a sigh. "yea. i still have a ways to go but soon i'll be stronger than him."

"Good. I hope so." He got the fire started and layed down beside the fire, letting out a deep sigh, mumbling to himself. "I'm getting too old for this s**t..."

he got closer to the fire and kept talking to him. "how's the machine doing? did the new parts help?"

"Set backs... Found out that I have to rewire it. That's gonna suck." He rubbed his eyes and looked up towards the ceiling.

"Good." He grabbed his blanket once he was dry and pulled it over him. He felt like sleeping next to the fire tonight to keep warm.

he yawned and layed by the fire. he closed his eyes and fell asleep.

It had been at least 12 months since Smash arrived and Ben had finished the machine a month prior, but was still trying to crack the code. He was getting close, but it was still evading him. He had rarely bee getting sleep and staying up late trying to figure it out. This morning, he was leaning over the machine sleeping because he passed out over it.

in the time he had been there, he had gotten even more powerful. he could kill monsters without putting much effort and he knew he could beat xandus now. xandus hadn't appeared for a while and it made him a little nervous. he wanted to find him himself and finish this whole mess. he walked over to ben and shook him a bit. "hey, wake up."

As Smash shook him, he jumped and was startled by the wake up call that he recieved and even rambled off some random words and even numbers. He then stopped and realized that he must of fell asleep while working again. "Oh... Something wrong?" His voice was slurring a bit and he stood up straight, trying to wake himself up.
